Yoko continued to play the ga and she had never been more determined. Super Mario Bros. 2 had completely captivated her, and playing as Princess Peach made the ga feel even more special. She had never expected a Mario ga to beco like this one. The vertical platforming, the creative enemy designs, and the ability to pick up and throw objects rather than just stomping on foes made the entire experience feel fresh. More than anything, she loved how Peach's floating ability let her maneuver through tricky sections with ease.
After defeating Birdo in World 1, she quickly got into a rhythm, breezing through the next few levels with impressive skill. Peach's ability to hover for a few seconds after jumping was an absolute ga-changer. Yoko found herself gracefully gliding over enemies, dodging obstacles that would have been much harder with Mario or Toad. While she noticed Peach's throwing power was a bit weaker, it barely mattered—her superior mobility allowed Yoko to position herself perfectly before attacking.
She kept playing for hours, steadily progressing through the ga with near-flawless execution. Each world introduced new challenges, but nothing seed to slow her down. She carefully tid her jumps in the vertical climbing sections, avoided falling into enemy traps, and mastered the ga's chanics faster than she expected.
By the ti she reached World 4, she realized that this wasn't just a casual playthrough anymore—she was speedrunning it. She barely died, reacted instantly to enemy patterns, and took advantage of every shortcut she found.
By World 5, the ga had ramped up in difficulty, but Yoko was unfazed. The faster enemy attacks and complex platforming only made her more excited. She learned every Birdo variation's attack patterns, easily catching its eggs mid-air and returning them with pinpoint accuracy. She experinted with Peach's float ability, sotis hovering at the last second to avoid a projectile or reach platforms that seed just out of reach. Yoko had always been good at platforrs, but this was a different level , she's truly a gaming prodigy.
World 6 tested her patience with its long stretches of sand-digging sections and tricky enemy placents. The Snifits were shooting faster, the Shy Guys were positioned in the worst spots imaginable, and there were fewer safe places to stand. Yoko gritted her teeth, fully imrsed in the challenge, and figured out the best ways to move through the levels quickly. When she finally reached the boss, Triclyde—a three-headed fire-breathing snake—she didn't panic. Instead, she imdiately recognized the attack pattern, dodged at just the right monts, and struck back decisively.
And then, she arrived at World 7—the final stage. Her heart pounded as she carefully moved through the dark corridors of Wart's castle. Every jump mattered, every enemy placent was ant to trip her up, but she wasn't going to lose now. She had made it this far, and she wasn't about to let the final boss stop her.
When she finally faced Wart, she gasped at the sight of the massive green toad-like villain. Unlike Bowser, Wart didn't breathe fire or throw hamrs—he spat deadly bubbles that covered a huge area, forcing Yoko to move constantly. The fight was intense, and her hands were starting to sweat. She dodged, grabbed vegetables from the floating machines, and hurled them at Wart between his attacks.
Her first few attempts ended in failure, but Yoko wasn't frustrated. Instead, she was getting fired up. Every retry helped her learn Wart's patterns. She started anticipating when the bubbles would co, when to throw vegetables without risking herself, and how to maximize Peach's float ability to position herself in the safest spots.
Then, the mont ca. Wart was down to his last hit. Yoko felt the adrenaline rush through her as she grabbed one final turnip. Wart inhaled, readying another attack—but she was faster. She jumped, floated just above his reach, and let the turnip fly.
It landed. Wart let out a final croak before collapsing in defeat. The screen flashed as the castle began to celebrate the villain's downfall. Yoko gasped before letting out a triumphant yell, throwing her hands into the air.
"I did it! I beat Super Mario Bros. 2!"
As the credits rolled, she felt a deep sense of satisfaction. This ga had been different from the first Super Mario Bros., and she had loved every second of it.
But then, sothing unexpected happened. The final cutscene showed Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach celebrating. A text box appeared: "Congratulations! But can you beat the ga with all characters?" Yoko's eyes widened, rembering the ssage from the Zabo-man card at the beginning.
She smirked. "Oh, you bet I will."
She reset the console and imdiately started another playthrough, ready to master the ga with every character. Yoko Saejiko wasn't just a casual gar—she is a gaming princess!.
