Saturday, October 4 – Morning
The sun rose gently over Tokyo, casting a golden hue through the windows of the Renkonan family ho. Zaboru stood by the front door, suitcase by his side, a familiar blend of excitent and determination in his chest. Today, he was heading to the United States for one of the most important trips in ZAGE's history—the official groundwork for the ZGB's release in the Arican market.
He adjusted his black jacket and checked his flight information one more ti before hearing footsteps behind him. His mother, Keiko, approached with a concerned smile, wrapping him in a tight hug.
"Make sure to eat and sleep properly, okay darling?" she said, her voice a mix of stern care and deep affection. "Or I will be mad!"
Zaboru laughed and hugged her back. "Don't worry, Mom. I promise. I'll call when I land."
As he let go, his younger sister, Sanika, skipped over to him, her eyes wide with admiration. "Bring back sothing cool from Arica again, okay? Nii-san!"
He crouched down, ruffling her hair. "Sani-chan, I'll bring you sothing even better than last ti. Just keep being good, alright?"
She nodded with a huge grin. "Deal!"
His father, Zanichi, waited near the car, keys in hand. "Ti to hit the road, boss."
Zaboru slung his bag over his shoulder and waved to his family. As he climbed into the passenger seat, he turned to his father. "You'll take care of ZAGE while I'm gone, CTO?"
Zanichi chuckled. "As if I haven't already. Relax, we've got things covered. Just focus on conquering Arica."
The drive to the airport was peaceful. No talk of work, just light conversation and quiet monts. At the terminal, after checking in, Zaboru and his father exchanged a strong hug.
"Take care of yourself, son," Zanichi said, pride thick in his voice. "You're carrying sothing incredible on your shoulders."
Zaboru nodded. "Thanks, Dad. I'll be back soon with a good news"
After a long, sleep-deprived flight across the Pacific, Zaboru arrived in Arica . The hotel room booked by Erald Wings was already waiting for him—simple, quiet, and perfectly suited for recovery. He rested for a couple of hours before freshening up and heading to Erald Wings' headquarters downtown.
The mont he stepped into the lobby, he was greeted by the sounds of excited conversation and laughter. In the main lounge, he spotted Ryan Miller and Jas Yoel, both huddled over their ZGBs, deeply imrsed in a Pokémon battle.
"Zaboru!" Ryan jumped to his feet, grinning like a kid. "My man! This thing—this ZGB—it's straight-up sci-fi. We're addicted!"
Zaboru smirked. "Glad to hear that."
Jas pointed at his screen. "I'm about to evolve my Kadabra, but Ryan won't trade. He's holding hostage for a Clefairy."
"Because I caught the only one, and I have the power now," Ryan teased.
Back when Jas went to Japan at ZGB release Zaboru is already preparing special stuff for him Two pair of ZGB and two pair of each gas ZGB Release with English Language Pokemon Red and Green , Tetris , Super Mario Deluxe and Stranded Kids so Jas and Ryan can enjoy ZGB to the fullest.
The three shared a laugh and then settled into the conference room to talk business. As they sipped coffee, Zaboru got right to the point.
"So, what's your plan for the Arican launch? Are you approaching ZGB distribution like you did with ZEPS—buying at retail cost, then handling your own sales?"
Ryan and Jas nodded. "Exactly. That model worked great for ZEPS. No reason to change what isn't broken."
"Good. Then we'll finalize the contract terms and quantities soon," Zaboru said, flipping through his planner.
But Ryan suddenly leaned forward, looking more serious.
"Before we do that... I have a proposal."
Zaboru raised an eyebrow. "Go on."
Ryan glanced at Jas, who gave him a confirming nod. "Look, Erald Wings is still a relatively dium company, not a powerhouse. Partnering with ZAGE changed everything for us. But with how fast you're growing... I'm worried that bigger and greedy companies might try to step in, buy influence, and squeeze us out."
Zaboru folded his arms. "So?"
"So," Ryan continued, "we want to make it official. We'd like ZAGE to purchase a majority stake in Erald Wings. Make us a true extension of ZAGE in the U.S. an official branch."
Zaboru blinked, surprised. "You're sure about that?"
Jas leaned in. "We are. We believe in ZAGE. And more than that—we believe in you. We don't want to just ride your success. We want to build it with you."
Zaboru was quiet for a mont, letting their words sink in.
"I appreciate that. Really. But I didn't bring my legal team with on this trip. For sothing this big, I need Kudou to handle this."
Jas smiled. "Then use soone here. What about Kirby? He's not a stranger to ZAGE."
Zaboru chuckled. "Kirby's great, but he's not officially on retainer. I'd prefer to keep this formal."
"Then we wait," Ryan said. "Just know the offer stands. Whenever you're ready."
The conversation shifted back to gas, laughter, and talk of the ZGB's reception. As the evening sun dipped behind the Arica skyline, Zaboru looked out the window of Erald Wings' office with a content smile.
Tomorrow, the real preparations would begin—press outreach, launch window planning, and final distribution strategy. But for tonight, he was among friends. People who believed in his dream just as much as he did.
And that ant everything.
