With the confetti still swirling and the crowd buzzing from the quiz climax, Zaboru took center stage once more, holding a shining mic in one hand and beaming under the spotlight.
"Now! Let's move on to the award ceremony for our top three quiz contestants!"
He gestured dramatically to the side of the stage where three ornate treasure chests—bronze, silver, and gold—were lined up on pedestals, each shimring under the event lighting.
"For third place," Zaboru began, walking over to the smallest chest, "the reward goes to none other than... Ayumi!"
The crowd clapped warmly as Ayumi stepped forward, her face lit up with joy. Zaboru handed her the bronze treasure chest Ayumi then received with a wink.
Ayumi returned the gesture with a playful smile, whispering, "Thanks, Zabo." Then she opened the chest in front of the cheering audience.
Inside was a limited edition Zabo-man T-shirt, 25,000 yen in cash, a custom-designed ZAGE wristwatch with a tallic "Z" background, a small Buzz Lightyear action figure, and a bronze dallion engraved with the ZAGE emblem.
Ayumi held up the T-shirt and watch, nodding in approval. "These are super cool. I'm definitely wearing this watch everywhere," she said, to the crowd's delight.
Zaboru turned to the next pedestal. "And for second place, our runner-up and ever-consistent contender... Takayuki!"
Takayuki approached shyly as the crowd applauded. Zaboru clapped him on the shoulder. "Another second place, huh? You're very cool, Takayuki-kun."
Takayuki smiled sheepishly. "Thank you, Zaboru-san. I really gave it my all." To Takayuki, Zaboru's praise ant everything. In his darkest monts, it was Zaboru and the world of Zabo-man that gave him hope. Without Zaboru's gas, he wasn't sure he would have made it through at all.
He opened the silver treasure chest. Gasps filled the room.
Inside was a brand-new, unreleased Zero Suit Samus Aran action figure—the prototype model. Alongside it were 50,000 yen, a silver replica dallion with an elegant "Z" carving, a ZAGE Jacket and Hat and a Zaboru and Zankoku band Full Album.
"This Samus figure... it's not even on the market yet!" Takayuki said in awe.
"Only a handful will exist in the future," Zaboru replied with a grin. "And you earned one."
Then, stepping to the final pedestal with dramatic flair, Zaboru raised his voice.
"And finally, our champion of the very first ZAGE Quiz Challenge... Yoko!"
The spotlight swiveled to Yoko as she stood in shock, her eyes wide with excitent.
"Co on up!" Zaboru called.
Yoko rushed to the stage, beaming, as the crowd erupted in cheers.
"Well done, Yoko," Zaboru said with a warm smile. "You're very cool!"
Yoko blushed furiously. 'Oh my god, Zaboru Renkonan—the god of video gas—just praised !' she thought, nearly dizzy from the thrill.
She opened the gleaming gold treasure chest. What she saw inside took her breath away.
There was 100,000 yen in prize money, a solid gold dallion with the signature ZAGE "Z," and two exclusive consoles: a ZEPS and ZGB Champion Edition. Their elegant gold-and-silver design glead with intricate engravings.
But it didn't end there. The chest also contained an array of beautifully sculpted action figures: Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, Spongebob in a heroic pose, a miniature version of the 1992 ZAGE Rad Racers car, a 4WD ZABO RC, Princess Peach, and Link holding sword and shield.
Yoko's eyes sparkled. She didn't care much about the money—she was already ridiculously wealthy. But the action figures? Those made her heart race. "The money's cool and all, but these figures... wow. They're amazing!"
From the crowd ca whispers:
"Wait, where do we get those?" "Are those going to be on sale?" "I need that Samus figure!" "Take my money, ZAGE!"
Zaboru chuckled, hearing the audience's growing curiosity. "These action figures are part of a special Champion Series, created in collaboration with HanDai and Nanco. You can't buy them yet, but similar versions will be available soon in our secret projects... and official stores. Stay tuned!"
The crowd roared with excitent.
"Secret projects? What secret projects?!" the crowd erupted with excitent. Any hint of a new ZAGE initiative was enough to send fans into a frenzy. New projects from ZAGE were always legendary, and the mystery only fueled their hype.
Then, after all winners posed for photos with their prizes and confetti continued to fall, the stage dimd briefly.
Zaboru turned to the crowd again, this ti his tone softer, more heartfelt.
"This... this was only the beginning. Thank you all so much for making ZAGE's first official event such a success. And now, to close this amazing day, let sing a song that ans a lot to . A song of gratitude."
The Zankoku band took the stage once more. Zaboru gripped the mic, nodded at the drumr, and began singing "Kansha."
Warattekureru, sasaetekureru Hagemashitekureru, daijina hito e Ima okuru, kono kimochi wo, wasurezuni itsumo.
The lody swelled through the hall, emotional and warm. Fans in the audience sang along, many with tears in their eyes. Lights lit up the crowd like a sea of stars.
It was more than a concert. It was a thank-you.
By the ti the final note rang out, Zaboru lowered his head briefly in a respectful bow.
The audience stood in ovation, clapping, cheering, and shouting his na.
This was not just a gaming event. It was the beginning of a cultural phenonon.
ZAGE's first-ever event ended in overwhelming success, leaving fans inspired and excited for what cos next.
