In Rollerdance, an intriguing easter egg appears as a string of characters: L1GM4. If the player manages to find all six hidden throughout the stages, a special mode unlocks in the nu—"Fantasy Circuit." This kind of secret feature isn't new to ZAGE fans. Both Punch Out and Rad Racer have included similar hidden stages tied to these mysterious words. Players still speculate about the true aning of "L1GM4," but its presence always promises a unique and thrilling experience.
At Bakudan Arcade, a group of enthusiastic players crowded around one of the ZEPS arcade cabinets. Their friend, high schooler Fujita Shima, had managed to unlock the elusive Fantasy Circuit. "Co on, hurry up, bro! Load up the Fantasy Circuit!" one friend urged. Another chid in, "I wonder what crazy bosses we'll find this ti!"
Fujita smirked as he returned to the main nu, spotting the new "Fantasy Circuit" option that had just appeared. "Alright, here we go!" he announced, and quickly selected it.
The screen faded into a slick futuristic lab setting. This ti, the playable character wasn't the usual muscular Brock Lesnar—but the legendary Zabo-man himself. Decked out in a black jacket, signature gray helt with a glowing blue visor, and the unmistakable Z engraved on his forehead, he stood poised for action.
"Yes! As always, Zabo-man takes the spotlight in the Fantasy Circuit!" Fujita exclaid.
The first stage, Futuristic Lab, threw Zabo-man into chaos. Ard with an AT unit called "ZABO," his signature move was a crescent backflip kick that stunned enemies who survived the initial blow. The lab was swarming with hostile alien creatures. But the real surprise ca at the end of the level.
"Wait—is that Bill and Lance from Contra?!" one of Fujita's friends shouted.
Indeed, the iconic duo appeared, both on air tracks and ard to the teeth. Their agile sorsaults and constant blaster fire made the fight intensely difficult. Fujita grit his teeth, narrowly dodging attacks while trying to land kicks and attack.
After a grueling battle, Zabo-man erged victorious.
The second stage shifted underwater. Aquatic lighting cast eerie shadows across the screen as Zabo-man faced off against bizarre Fish-n wielding bubble guns. The boss of the stage made everyone gasp.
"HAHAHA! No way that's SpongeBob!" another friend yelled.
This wasn't the cheerful sponge like usual. This version was kitted out in customized roller gear and attacked with explosive bubbles. Rockets, grenades, and bubble traps filled the screen while grinning. The battle was chaotic, hilarious, and challenging all at once.
Once SpongeBob was dealt with, the scene transitioned into a dense, misty forest. Ninja enemies sward the area, flipping through the trees with speed and precision. At the heart of the forest waited for the next boss: Ryu Hayabusa.
"It's Ninja Gaiden ti!" soone whispered in awe.
Ryu moved like a phantom, teleporting across the screen, hurling shurikens, and casting jutsus from Ninja Gaiden II. Fujita struggled, barely dodging his strikes. "He's so damn fast!" he muttered, teeth clenched as he chipped away at Ryu's health bar.
Eventually, Ryu fell in defeat, and the screen shifted again.
The fourth stage was a sprawling futuristic cityscape where robots and anthropomorphic animals ruled the streets. This ti, the boss battle was unconventional.
"Wait—are we racing?!" Fujita asked, bewildered.
His opponent was none other than Sonic the Hedgehog, wearing a tricked-out pair of rollerblades. Sonic zipped ahead, leaping over obstacles. Though unaccustod to Air Track tech, he still had enough speed to challenge Fujita. Thankfully, Sonic's unfamiliarity with rollers caused a few stumbles, giving Fujita a narrow victory if not stumbles Sonic definitely win the Races. One of his friends chid, "Thank God Sonic didn't know how to use his AT properly—otherwise we wouldn't have stood a chance!" Fujita nodded, adding, "Yeah, he seems nerfed in the Rad Racers Fantasy Circuit too, huh?"
And then ca the final stage—a nostalgic twist.
The setting looked oddly familiar. Blocky green hills, floating bricks, and blue skies. "This... is Mario's world," Fujita whispered.
In this stage, Zabo-man's movent was limited to left, right, and jumping—just like in classic Mario gas. He stomped on bizarre enemies shaped like oversized mushrooms and avoided pits. "Hahaha this one feel like Mario aweso!" Fujita said while grinning and At the end, the true boss revealed himself.
Mario appeared in an armored version, equipped with a jetpack and massive explosive bombs. "You want a piece of , plumber? Let's go!" Fujita said.
The battle was tough—Mario's bombs hit wide areas, and his unpredictable jetpack thrusts kept the pace intense. But after a thrilling few minutes, Zabo-man defeated him.
Exhausted but triumphant, Fujita sat back, smiling wide. "Two hours. That's how long it took. Fantasy Circuit never fails to deliver. Right, guys?"
His friends nodded in agreent, cheering and clapping.
Fujita grinned and said, "I think Rollerdance is my favorite ga, guys. It's just so chaotic and bizarre—I love every second of it!"
One of his friends shook his head in mock disagreent. "Rollerdance is good, sure, but for , nothing beats Ninja Gaiden. The atmosphere, the challenge—it's on another level."
Another friend chid in enthusiastically, "You guys are both wrong! Gun-Nac is unbeatable. Those insane power-ups and the wacky enemies? It's pure perfection."
And just like that, Rollerdance had once again proven why it stood apart—not just for its gaplay, but for the pure chaotic joy it delivered even though its not everyone favorite but it still lot of fun and great ga
