After Zaboru taught the twins how to assemble ZEPS, Yugo was the first to chi in, his excitent barely contained. Zaboru decided to let them experience the console firsthand. As Yuna picked up the controller, she couldn't help but be impressed by the system's quality.
"This is really refined for a ho console," she admitted. Though she wasn't much of a gar, she had to admit it was a sleek and well-made machine. "I can see why people might be interested in this."
anwhile, Yugo was practically vibrating with enthusiasm. He gripped the controller like it was a sacred artifact and turned to Zaboru with wide, shining eyes. "Boss-sama! Please teach how to make these gas! Let be your humble disciple!"
Yuna's face turned red with embarrassnt as she smacked the back of his head. "I'm sorry, Renkonan-san! He's a little... quirky. Please don't be mad at him."
Zaboru simply chuckled, observing the dynamic between the twins. 'Heh, they balance each other out pretty well. One's overexcited, the other's level-headed. Could be useful for teamwork.'
"Don't worry, Ms. Kanai, I don't mind at all. Actually, we have about five days before the ZEPS officially launches, including the weekend. If you two are interested, I could teach you how to develop gas during that ti. Are you in?"
Before Zaboru could even finish his sentence, Yugo threw his hands in the air. "Ough! Yeah! I'm in, Boss-sama!"
Yuna sighed, already feeling the headache creeping in. "Absolutely, Renkonan-san. It's part of our contract, after all."
Zaboru grinned and rolled up his sleeves. "Alright then, let's begin."
The next few hours were intense. Zaboru started by explaining the fundantals of ga developnt, using assembly language to write code directly for the ZEPS hardware. He broke down the process step by step:
"First, we define how the ga reads player input. We need to tell the console how to recognize button presses and translate them into movent on-screen. Since this is assembly language, we're working at a much lower level than modern programming languages. Every command we write here is executed directly by the processor."
He typed a few lines of code on his custom developnt PC, and within monts, the screen displayed a simple character sprite moving in response to keystrokes. Yugo gasped like he'd just witnessed a miracle.
"Whoa! That's insane!" Yugo leaned closer. "So, you're literally telling the machine what to do step by step? No fancy shortcuts?"
Zaboru nodded. "Exactly. Unlike newer programming languages that do a lot of work for you, assembly gives you full control over the hardware. That's why optimization is so important."
Next, he introduced them to sprite design. He opened a pixel art tool on his PC and began drawing a simple character.
"Graphics for consoles like ZEPS are based on tile-based sprites. Each character, enemy, and background elent is made of tiny squares, and we arrange them to create visuals."
Yuna, though not particularly interested in gas, found the design process oddly fascinating. "So every image we see in a ga is built from tiny individual blocks?"
"Exactly," Zaboru confird. "And every fra of animation is a new arrangent of these blocks."
As he explained, he loaded a small animation of a character jumping, showing how each fra was made from separate sprite tiles.
"This is how animations work," he continued. "By swapping out images quickly, it creates the illusion of movent."
"As for the music let's talk about that later for now this is enough, and you can ask anything now" Zaboru smile to the twins
Yugo was practically bouncing in his chair. "Boss-sama! If I keep working here, can I make my own gas!? also Please call Yugo!"
Zaboru grinned. "Of course, Yugo. Not only will I let you, I'll even help you."
Yugo's face lit up, his excitent reaching new heights. anwhile, Yuna, though pleased to see her brother happy, had a lingering concern. She didn't want him to idolize Zaboru too much—putting soone on a pedestal could lead to trouble.
After a mont, she turned to Zaboru with curiosity. "Renkonan-san, if I may ask, how did you build a company at such a young age? Did you get funding from your parents, or did you start this on your own?"
Zaboru smirked. "You can just call Zaboru or Boss, Yuna. 'Renkonan-san' is a bit of a mouthful, isn't it?"
Yuna smiled. "Alright, Boss. So? What's the story?"
Zaboru leaned back in his chair. "Well, I did get so initial money from my dad, but most of it, I earned myself. I started by selling my own creations, like ZAS i also have so similar to "Investor". I worked hard, and now i want to reinvested everything back into the company, though the ZAGE not yet official yet but it will be in not long.As for my family , though we don't need worry about food and we can afford slight luxury but My family isn't so rich—there's no way they could've funded a company like this. That's why I had to make it happen on my own.
Yuna nodded thoughtfully. "That's actually really impressive."
Yugo, on the other hand, was starstruck. "Whoa! Boss-sama, you're the real deal! A self-made genius! How old are you, anyway?"
Zaboru smirked. "Wellm I'm 17 right now , I'll be 18 in a couple of months."
The twins froze.
"WHAT?!" they shouted in unison.
