Now reading: Chapter 322 - 318 Exchange from Ant Lord in the Star Realm, a Sci-fi novel by Qian Li Song Yi Xue.

Dragon Cypress first sent Black Leaf to the Areca Rainforest, but still could not fully relax and arranged for Silver Cypress to go along as well.

Black Leaf directed the Worker Ants to construct the Ant Nest.

Silver Cypress led Soldier Ants to clear out any jungle beasts that might threaten Black Leaf’s safety.

Dragon Cypress then began traveling back and forth between Cold Orchid Mountain and Areca Rainforest, transferring the Cold Orchid Mountain ant colony to the Areca Rainforest.

The journey was long; a round trip took 5 days.

The production of Ant Eggs by the Dominating Throne to cultivate new ants could not stop.

Dragon Cypress also made a petite Stump Ant Nest, placed the Ant Eggs inside, and released Pheromones at any ti during the journey to stimulate differentiation.

Once the Ant Eggs hatched and grew to about four or five centiters, they could be placed into the Cold Orchid Mountain Ant Nest and handed over to the logistics Worker Ants to care for.

As long as the Larvae were exposed to Pheromones once every five days, it did not affect their differentiation and developnt. Once the Larvae reached a certain size, they no longer needed Pheromone stimulation for differentiation.

...

Ti flew by—a rainstorm, a night of cool breeze.

The sweltering sumr suddenly transford into an autumn with sunlight especially blazing to the Blazing Insects.

Cicada calls in the mountains grew even more passionate.

Frogs and toads also beca increasingly restless, croaking loudly before the sun had even set.

"Dragon Cypress!"

As the Dominating Throne just entered Cold Orchid Mountain, Ink Orchid, stationed on the mountain top, flapped its wings and flew over at high speed, circling down and handing a Spider Silk Bag to Dragon Cypress.

"The Black Yellow Divine-Given Seed is ripe and harvested!"

Dragon Cypress opened it, took out a tal Case, and opened it again. Inside lay a seed slightly larger than an ordinary Black Cory Grape seed.

It was a golden yellow, covered with fine black Original Energy Patterns.

Ink Orchid’s na, ’Black Yellow’, was indeed a fitting one.

"Keep it safe. Let’s go back to Xianglan Mountain first." Dragon Cypress infused Origin Force, closed the tal Case, and handed it back to Ink Orchid.

"Black Cory..."

"Leave it aside for now. Let’s go."

The Dominating Throne turned directly and flew toward Xianglan Mountain.

Ink Orchid could not contain its joy and suggested, "Let’s swing by Kiwifruit Mountain to see Blue Catalpa and Snakebark Maple."

Dragon Cypress: "Stop showing off everywhere. Take the goods back to Xianglan Mountain and store them in the Treasury."

Ink Orchid was displeased and said nothing.

It sulked for a while, but couldn’t hold in its happiness, took out the tal Case, opened it, and with its head lowered, gazed obsessively at the seed.

The fourth Divine-Given Seed in insect life!

After a while, Ink Orchid closed the tal Case, tucked it back into the Spider Silk Bag, took out the Rose Halo and put it on its claw tip, injected Origin Force, and the brilliant rose-patterned Primordial Energy covered its whole body.

"Dragon Cypress, let’s trade."

"Hm?"

"The Divine-Given Seed! The Black Yellow Divine-Given Seed’s enhancent is a comprehensive boost to Water Elent Ability. Let’s switch it for your Chestnut Bean Divine-Given Seed."

"There’s not much difference."

"Are we trading or not?"

"Up to you."

"Deal!"

"Alright."

Dragon Cypress didn’t really care.

Ink Orchid imdiately beca elated, leaping about and cheering, "Oh! Oh! Oh! Now I have a Great Tall Tree Divine-Given Seed too!"

...

The Divine-Given Seed was delivered back to Xianglan Mountain, carefully inspected, stored in a super-large tal Case, deposited in the Treasury, and guarded by Soldier Ants.

Ink Orchid stayed at Xianglan Mountain to recuperate, preparing for the final stage before Evolution Mountain Lord Level.

There were still so ants at Cold Orchid Mountain that needed to be moved to the Areca Rainforest, and Dragon Cypress remained busy.

Black Cory was paid 1,000 Source Stones per year; the year was not yet up, so it continued working, digging out the Cold Orchid Mountain dining room, then pruning black Cory grapevines on the mountain, loosening soil, and clearing plants that competed with them...

Twenty days later,

Dragon Cypress completed the transfer work.

Black Cory was done as well.

They packed up and returned to the mountain.

...

Ink Orchid reached the final stage of breakthrough, staying at Xianglan Mountain, keeping its mind calm.

After Dragon Cypress rested for two days, it imdiately began the trading season of the roving rchants. This year’s focus was Kiwifruit Mountain, collecting Green-Red Kiwifruit from Blue Catalpa’s and Snakebark Maple’s trees, and White Rice Fruit from White Rice Mountain and the White Rice Divine-Given Seed.

Setting off according to fruit ripening tis, it made a lap in just over ten days.

The Dominating Throne swooped down, landing at the entrance to the South Mountain Ant Nest.

Noticing the commotion, Ink Orchid zood over, staring at the Blue Ant with its distended abdon on the Throne. "Dragon Cypress! How much did Blue Catalpa and Snakebark Maple make this year?"

Dragon Cypress: "The net inco from the Green-Red Kiwifruit Life Seeds is 12,000 Source Stones, with other Life Seed Plants adding up to 3,000 Source Stones. Together, they bring in 15,000 Source Stones per year."

Seeing Ink Orchid not quite satisfied, Dragon Cypress added, "It’ll be even better next year."

Ink Orchid still seed dissatisfied, muttering, "The benefits from male Divine-Given Seeds are just so-so. Not nearly as amazing as the Knowledge Hall described."

Not amazing?

They’ve only been Advanced High-Level Warriors for a few years!

This inco is quite high, alright?

Rare male lives can’t be compared to ordinary female lives.

Dragon Cypress waved its tentacles, not wanting to say more.

Round Cypress ca out, surrounded by Worker Ants.

"Dragon Cypress Ant King, the fruit from the Southern Gorgon Divine-Given Seed has been harvested smoothly and is already dried and stored."

"Great! Round Cypress, direct the Worker Ants and Blue Ants to sort out the goods."

Dragon Cypress called, "Ink Orchid, let’s head to the Treasury for a look."

Dragon Cypress had carved out ten vaults deep inside the mountain’s main nest, specifically for storing Origin Force Food.

Depending on circumstances, storage was in two forms: seeds and Origin Force Ant Honey.

The Divine-Given Gorgon Fruit Seeds were stored as seeds.

Round Cypress was ticulous: one hundred seeds per bag, first sorted into dium Spider Silk Bags, then packed into large Spider Silk Bags.

The yield was decent; this year they harvested 2,340 Divine-Given Gorgon Fruit Seeds in total.

Gorgon Fruit Seeds are already quite large. After reaching Evolution Mountain Lord Level, they beca even bigger, almost the size of an apricot.

Two large Spider Silk Bags were filled to the brim!

Dragon Cypress fished out a small bag, took out a seed for Ink Orchid, then picked up the bag and started inspecting it, sweeping over it with spiritual power.

After scrutinizing for a long ti, it took out a seed, peeled and tasted it.

Ink Orchid watched Dragon Cypress, imitating it—peeling a seed and popping it into its mouth, "Not bad! Tasty! Dragon Cypress, how many Source Stones do you think one is worth?"

Not tasty at all~ Dragon Cypress: "Plump and full, worth 30 Source Stones each."

Ink Orchid cocked its head, crunching the numbers, "2,340 seeds, tis a unit price of 30, that’s..."

Seeing it struggle to give an answer, Dragon Cypress helped out: "...that’s 70,200 Source Stones, and after deducting the 4,000 Source Stones in costs during the fruiting period, the net inco is 66,200 Source Stones. The blossom-fruit cycle is three years; averaged out, after reaching Evolution Mountain Lord Level, the Southern Gorgon Divine-Given Seed brings in 22,067 Source Stones per year."

Dragon Cypress: "After all, it quintupled via division—it’s not much less than a Great Tall Tree."

Ink Orchid: "Oh—"

Ink Orchid was still not very satisfied.

Dragon Cypress: "We’ll sell 2,000 seeds to the Fla Spider Caravan, the rest we’ll eat ourselves. In the future, when the Northern Gorgon Divine-Given Seed is harvested, it’ll be the sa."

The Divine-Given Gorgon Fruit Seed’s enhancent effect is very good, but after so many years, the Northern Gorgon Divine-Given Seed’s output has been consud internally within Cloud Trace Continent. Everyone’s eaten enough, and the enhancent effects are close to saturation.

Black Leaf, Red Moonseed, and Areca—the three youngsters—need so, so a bit will be kept for them.

Dragon Cypress packed up the Spider Silk Bag and asked, "Ink Orchid, how about it? Any sign of falling into evolutionary sleep?"

Ink Orchid: "No sign of evolutionary sleep, but I feel I’m really close. After eating maybe 3,000 Source Stones’ worth of Origin Force Food, I should be able to evolve."

Dragon Cypress: "Then pause the Origin Force Food intake for now, and rest for another month."

"Alright—"

Ink Orchid agreed, then asked, "Dragon Cypress, you’re about to evolve too, right? Shouldn’t you prepare?"

"Yes!"

Dragon Cypress: "I’ll rest for two days, then start getting ready!"

...

Dragon Cypress also planned to evolve to 2nd Age Period Mountain Lord this winter; the Red Cypress Divine-Given Seed would be ready to plant soon.

Red Cypress as a plant prefers the hot climate of the south.

Dragon Cypress intended to sow it on Southern Sour Jujube Mountain.

The Divine-Given Seed remains of the Abundant Fruit Dragon Cypress were the best base fertilizer.

Dragon Cypress began traveling between Xianglan Mountain and Xinghu Lake, transporting all the exuviae of the Abundant Fruit Dragon Cypress Divine-Given Seed back to Xianglan Mountain, mobilizing all the ants on the mountain to use their Mandible Teeth and forelegs to scrape the wood into sawdust, bagging it up.

Imitating the thod used to plant the Quandong Divine Tree on Huagi Mountain,

at that ti a large pit would be dug on Southern Sour Jujube Mountain, with layers of Divine-Given Remains and fertile soil to create the best soil environnt.

The Red Cypress Divine-Given Seed would be able to obtain the best and richest nutrients to ensure rapid, robust growth into a mature tree.
