The mouth of the young man continued to emit low growls like a beast!
"Roar! Roar!"
"Die! All of you, die!"
"You are all monsters! Get out of my head, I will tear you all to pieces!"
The frenzied young man was Edward.
He only possessed the power of level 7, equivalent to an ordinary person.
Any of the Gun Shield Cavalry or Ascalon Soldiers on the field could kill him with a single strike.
Yet, no one acted. Instead, they allowed Edward to attack.
When he struck the shields of the Gun Shield Cavalry, he did not inflict any damage; the trendous recoil force left his hands a bloodied ss.
But Edward continued his relentless assault, determined not to stop until he shredded his foes.
Seeing Cao Xing approach, the Centaur Gun Shield Cavalry called out, "Greetings, Lord!"
From a distance, Kandar said, "Lord, you have finally arrived. This human has gone mad."
"He just bit my butt!"
Kandar appeared furious, touching the lower half of his centaur body where there remained a bite mark.
So in the crowd could not help but laugh.
Cao Xing nodded, then shouted.
"Edward."
Seemingly recognizing a familiar voice, the crazed artist ceased his actions and turned his head.
He gazed at Cao Xing with bewildernt in his eyes.
It seed he regained so sanity, struggling as if to respond, "Lord... Lord..."
In the next mont, Edward appeared hit by so massive blow, clutching his head in agony!
Then he glared angrily at Cao Xing.
"Damn you, disguising as the Lord to deceive !"
"I will kill you!"
With that, Edward lunged at him.
At this mont, a Centaur Gun Shield Cavalry intercepted him.
"Roar! Get out of my way! I will tear apart this impostor pretending to be the Lord!"
Edward continued his frenzied attacks.
Cao Xing frowned slightly, realizing Edward’s episode seed severe and unlikely to resolve quickly.
"Get a few people to restrain him and take him to the basent."
"Do not harm him."
Upon hearing this, several Ascalon Soldiers swiftly moved in, ignoring the frenzied Edward, pinning down his limbs.
"Damn it! Let go, you bastards!"
Edward continued his desperate struggle.
However, these Ascalon Soldiers, all level 30 beings with strength enough to lift massive boulders with ease, easily handled him.
Let alone Edward, with a re level 7 ability.
He could only be escorted by these four soldiers toward the basent.
And just at that mont.
Another Edward erged from the crowd behind.
With wide eyes and a quivering voice, he said,
"Lord... Lord, that man is not !"
Hearing the voice, everyone turned their gaze, astonished.
His face bore an expression of extre fear, as if he had witnessed sothing horrifying!
At this mont, the hundreds of people on the field felt utterly confused, even experiencing a chill down their spines...
Cao Xing, equally puzzled, lingered his gaze on both Edwards, studying them constantly.
The Edward restrained by four soldiers seed to regain his clarity too.
His eyes imdiately saw the identical person behind the crowd, filled with the sa terrified expression.
"Lord! It is it! It is the one haunting !"
"This transformation happened because of it; it is an evil devil!"
The Edward who erged subsequently retorted, "Nonsense, you’re the devil!"
"I was resting in my room. In a daze, I felt sothing approach , then I passed out, never having co out!"
And the Edward captured said, "You’re lying! I just had a ntal breakdown."
"The Lord told , if I go mad, go outside the territory, the soldiers will subdue , that is why I left!"
"You are the liar!"
At this, even Cao Xing was baffled.
Suddenly, two Edwards.
Both seed real, and their reasoning plausible.
Even the system panel of Cao Xing revealed nothing peculiar.
Yet, clearly, one of these two Edwards had to be the impostor.
Cao Xing’s lips twitched, "Damn it, this again?"
"These creatures with their disguises, what a nuisance."
Cao Xing’s "True Vision" could only detect simple disguises.
As for those like the Resentful Spirit and Demons, masters of disguise, employing all kinds of ans to evade detection.
As the saying goes, where there is a master, there is a nesis.
Of course, the most effective thod was to get rid of both Edwards, the fake one would undoubtedly reveal itself.
However, doing so would an the loss of a talented person with advanced life skills for Cao Xing.
The crowd, likewise, had no imdiate way to discern.
After pondering for a mont, Cao Xing said, "Let’s do this, I don’t care which one of you is real or fake."
"I will tie both of you up and confine you in the basent."
"Then, I’ll observe slowly."
Hearing this, both Edwards said simultaneously, "No problem."
Their imdiate agreent surprised Cao Xing.
Could it be that both were real Edward?
Or perhaps the impostor Edward was unafraid of being bound?
