Xie Ning walked out of the room, pulling the door shut behind her.

As the lock CLICKED softly into place, the young woman narrowed her eyes and abruptly looked up at the top of the surrounding wall.

A man was half-hanging there with a gun over his shoulder, poised to straddle the wall.

Xie Ning’s sudden upward glance clearly startled him, and the gun stock nearly slipped from his shoulder.

’Holy fucking shit!’ the man cursed inwardly.

’Are you kidding ? This girl looks like a student—fair-skinned and completely non-threatening.’

’So why are her senses so sharp that she spotted on the wall instantly?’

Xie Ning stared coldly at the man half-hanging on the wall.

The next second, a sharp tal spike shot from her hand, piercing directly into the man’s calf.

"AARGH!" The man let out a bloodcurdling scream, lost his grip in pain, and fell from the wall, landing flat on his face.

Xie Ning moved with lightning speed, instantly darting to the base of the wall.

At the sa ti, a lead pellet the size of a small marble whizzed past, grazing her pant leg.

Xie Ning’s eyes grew cold, her gaze filling with a frosty, ruthless aura.

tal instantly coated her fair fist, and she viciously hamred it into the howling man’s stomach.

After three punches, the man could no longer howl, only whimper and plead, "Miss, miss, miss! I-I was wrong, so wrong! I was wrong!"

Xie Ning spun around, pressing herself against the wall next to the iron gate. Her delicate hand shot through the wrought-iron gate and clamped down on the gun barrel.

The guy outside was so scared he pulled the trigger, only to find the air gun in his hands instantly twisting like a pretzel.

His arm was pinned to the wrought-iron gate by the pretzel-like gun barrel, leaving him suspended and completely immobilized.

Xie Ning slid the bolt, opened the iron gate, and walked right up to the man, unleashing her small, tal-clad fists on his face.

"Oh, god..." The man who had been calling her "Miss" lay in the corner clutching his stomach, his face a mask of terror.

Even though the fists weren’t landing on him, he could practically feel their viciousness.

’This girl was unbelievable. She looked like a cute, harmless little thing, but who knew that in a fight, she could be more ruthless and vicious than any man?’

The man looked toward his companion, Wang Zongxuan, still pinned to the iron gate, and a trace of fear crossed his face.

’Wang Zongxuan is in an even worse state than I am. His left arm is tangled up in that pretzel-shaped gun barrel, pinning him to the wrought-iron gate. He’s just hanging there, looking miserable.’

Xie Ning hamred a few more punches into the "gate ornant," beating him until he was just a whimpering ss. Only then did she yank him off the gate, drag him inside, and slam him onto the ground. The whole sequence was rough yet graceful, executed in one fluid motion.

With a cold expression, the young woman closed the iron gate. She bent down, picked up the intact air gun from the ground, quickly loaded it, and aid it at the head of the man who was clutching his stomach.

"No, no, no! Miss, Miss! Miss!" The man’s pupils contracted violently, his eyes wild with terror and panic.

’This air gun has clearly been modified,’ she thought. ’It loads faster and has a much longer range. If that lead pellet had actually hit my leg, it would have hampered my mobility, even if it didn’t break the bone.’

’Delaying my mission to rescue Junjun in Su City is as good as trying to kill my little brother.’

A flash of killing intent crossed Xie Ning’s eyes. She walked toward the man step by step, the air gun still aid at his head.

The man nearly pissed himself in terror. He could almost feel the footsteps of the Grim Reaper approaching, so tangible and real.

"Xie Ning!" Song Kexin shouted, leaning out the window.

The man imdiately felt the terrifying, hair-raising pressure that had enveloped him suddenly lighten.

"I-I surrender! I surrender!"
