The hundred-ter distance vanished in an instant.

Huai Shi had already grazed the high temperature of a laser, stepped over shattered flesh, and charged into the Power Cabin, where he was t with a panicked and bloated face.

It seed as though the entire person had turned into a torn sack, stuffed with writhing flesh. The obese man hadn't had ti to react before the youth's figure disappeared from in front of his eyes.

And reappeared behind him.

Imdiately after, three intersecting slash marks erged on his chest.

Just like a mournful note suddenly leaping from a cello.

—Great Third Chord!

In a flash, a Triple-fold attack: sweeping, piercing, and slashing.

Through the heart, severing a hand, and beheading.

In the mont of their paths crossing, Huai Shi didn't look back and dashed forward, charging straight at the stiff, blue-robed priest in front of him.

Whether it was subsonic waves or so other weapon that caused the disturbance, all enemies under the sudden burst of Source Substance suppression from Yan Shi froze, unable to react to the incoming attacks.

The timing was precious.

Under the renewed acceleration of Yu Step, Mountain Ghost surged like a shadow from behind, raising the Sacrificial Knife and piercing the blue-robed priest's chest.

Imdiately after, the Sword of Virtue swept across.

Beheading!

Having learned from his previous experience, this ti Huai Shi poured all the positive energy he had been nurturing into it. The Sword Blade took on a faint glow, making the Broken Sword look even more solemn and holy.

As the Sword Blade cut through, pure white flas sparked from the wound, halting regeneration.

Then, the Sacrificial Knife was withdrawn, aiming for the head floating in mid-air and coming down in a slash.

It was directly turned into a handful of Ashes.

Unending vitality flowed from the handle of the knife, assimilated by Mountain Ghost, sustaining the consumption of the Overload State.

Successful in his strike, Huai Shi didn't linger and pivoted on the spot, lunging at another target.

Before the knife's edge, the Ugly, elderly female priest trembled slightly.

Her pupils lifted slightly amid the stiffness, staring venomously at Huai Shi.

—Withering Gaze.

An erald green ray shot out from her eyes, piercing towards Huai Shi's face. Any being struck by this near-light-speed gaze would et rapid decay.

There was no way to react or dodge it.

Unfortunately for her, although Huai Shi wasn't faster than light, he was quicker than her response.

The Sacrificial Knife was already raised, held horizontally, blocking the path of the Withering Gaze. In an instant, the blade rapidly decayed, as if it had endured thousands of years. The gemstone on the handle, ford from condensed blood essence, showed cracks and turned to dust.

But this was where it ended.

For the Sword of Virtue had already left his hand, whistling through the air, and deeply embedded itself into her forehead, exiting through the back of her skull.

Imdiately thereafter, the old woman was reduced to Ashes under the burning of pure white flas.

Of course, before that, more importantly... was the beheading!

The Alchemy Fire was incredibly effective against these creatures on the brink of transforming into Hell species after abyssal corruption. Alchemists commonly dealt with such creatures or items from the Abyss.

For the Alchemy Fire, decomposing Disaster Miracles from Hell was almost its calling. As long as they were vanquished by the Sword of Virtue, even a spark of fire would spread wildly, completely burning away those useless remnants, leaving no pollution or dust behind.

Regrettably, after killing two priests, the effect of Source Substance suppression had begun to dissipate.

Suddenly, a roar erupted beside Huai Shi, "Receive the beautiful night!!!"

A praying Believer kneeling on the ground suddenly swelled up, as countless pieces of flesh burst from their mouth, nose, and beneath their skin, about to fully transform into an Erosion species.

Then, amidst the sudden chill, they froze in place, turning into a chunk of crimson solid ice.

Tony's horse-like face flashed by. With the hollow saber in hand, he struck. Amidst a resonance akin to a tuning fork, the solid ice shattered into a scattering of ice powder.

Heavenly Kingdom Genealogy·Path of Dusk—Third Stage·Frost Giant!

At this mont, the severe cold of winter twined around his hands. As he swung his dual sabers, a line of pale white extended across the floor, walls, and ceiling.

Within a two-ter radius, with the blades' phantom slashes, a grueso trail of frost quickly ford over the fleshly bodies. Following that, as the frost lted, they were cleanly severed in two.

Just then, a cold draft rose within the Power Cabin.

As Amadin blew the horn in his hand, a dense miasma of death began to surge forth. Soon after, a Phantom Warship burst through the waves, creating a surge of deathly aura.

Even the vast Power Cabin seed cramped in comparison to the volu of the Phantom Warship. As it thundered forward, dozens of grappling hooks were hurled out, snagging the Believers scattered on the ground, pulling them onto the ghostly Ghost ship, never to be seen again.

More shadowy undead crawled out of the darkness. Animated corpses and skeletons assembled in formation, brandishing weapons amidst the waves of deathly aura, suddenly reaching out and pulling down one adversary after another.

They deliberately avoided the resisting priests, instead targeting the praying Fanatics, rapidly extracting the rotten foundations of this infernal Hell, one by one.

Alone, he swiftly killed two-thirds of the living creatures in the cabin.

Of the other survivors, more than half were blown apart by Huai Shi and Tony. Only a few priests managed to react, but it was already too late.

"For the eternal good night—"

A hunched, emaciated Giant scread, spreading its arms as its flesh and White Clothes suddenly exploded, transforming into a blood rain splattering in all directions.

A blood storm surged endlessly from the massive skeleton, quickly enveloping the attackers.

But then a heavy Sacrificial Knife tore through the air, hungrily absorbing the blood qi along its path—more sinister than even the Cultists. In an instant, it shed its rust, regaining its magnificent and majestic form.

It plunged into the Giant's forehead with unstoppable force.

Unfortunately, it could not break through the sturdy skeleton to cause any further damage.

The Giant priest had no ti to smile before he saw Mountain Ghost rising from the darkness, a savage grin on its face and a huge Iron Hamr materializing in its hand.

Lifted, swung, smashed!

With a roar of fla-assisted force, the Sacrificial Knife pierced deeply into his forehead like a nail.

The bloody storm abruptly ceased, turning into powerless, thick rain that fell and then froze into a heavy layer of ice.

The withered corpse hit the ground, but the head that had been pierced was still burning with a ferocious will, staring vengefully at Huai Shi.

"Pitiable unbelievers, thou shalt fall into eternal nightmare…"

He hadn't finished speaking when Huai Shi emotionlessly lifted his foot.

Yu Step.

SQUISH. The ground shook, and no more noises ca forth.

As a few scattered laser beams swept past, the last of the Rebels were neatly cleaned up.

Then a hurricane swept through. Large volus of water gushed from the pipes, and amid countless chanical maneuvers, blood and bodies were quickly washed away.

In the end, the entire Power Cabin beca spotlessly clean, its grandeur restored.

It was almost like Magic.

"Wow, this thing is pretty amazing, eh? It must have cost a fortune…"

A country bumpkin gawked around, touching things here and there as if he had never seen anything like them before, marveling in amazent.

Tony, standing nearby, couldn't bear to watch anymore.

"Co on, you're a Prince of Paradise. Can you act a little less uncultured, please?"

"I haven't seen anything like this before."

Huai Shi squatted beside the engine assembly, reached out and touched it, nearly burning off a layer of skin on his hand, grimacing in pain, "This is the first ti I've seen such a large Alchemy engine. I really want to take it apart and look inside…"

"I rember you're an Alchemist too, right?"

Mr. Fan, not too far away, was quite understanding, "If you are interested in tallography and Rune studies, I can explain them to you later. However, these are all jointly produced by the big workshops, with many proprietary patents, so you won't be able to learn much."

"I'll just take a look."

Huai Shi chuckled good-naturedly, casually propped himself on a cabinet, and after taking a few more glances at the surrounding facilities, nodded in satisfaction.

"I'm good," he said.

In his saddlebag, a heavy Steel Book had silently appeared.

*Lord of the Flies*, acquired!

In the seemingly eternal darkness, waves surged on the surface of the Sea.

Above, the only twinkling stars were the dim Reflections from the distant Border, twinkling on and off with the heaving of the tides, ethereal and unpredictable.

Two smoking n squatted on a small boat, peering anxiously through binoculars into the distance.

Accompanied by the roar of the steam whistle, in a far-off place, soone raised their wrist and shot a flare into the sky.

Thus, in the rising hot glow, the sharp silhouette of a train was sketched out from the depths of darkness, revealing its towering and colossal shape, like a steel fortress floating on the Sea.

"Is that Group Star?" The younger man snuffed out his cigarette, comnting softly in awe, "It's huge."

"Yeah," the older man continued to gaze through the binoculars at the illuminated Group Star—and at the thick shadow following closely on the Sea's Reflection below it.

It seed as if moving too fast had caused it to leave its own shadow behind.

The imnse dark silhouette writhed constantly, clinging closely to the wake of Group Star. One shadowy tendril after another extended from it, tightly winding around the Reflection of Group Star...

Unfortunately, the shadowy tentacles that connected the two were too delicate, their connection too weak.

The vast shadow could never climb the edges of Group Star.

Instead, it appeared to be dragged by the speeding train, convulsing with difficulty in its Reflection on the Sea. Wherever it passed, a layer of foam that writhed like internal organs appeared on the surface.

The stench was overwhelming.

"Sighting confird."

The middle-aged man put down the binoculars, took a deep breath, as if to calm the trepidation in his heart.

"Tell the higher-ups, the big fish has arrived," he said, "—[Ocean Fishing] can comnce."
