And then there was the ferocious roar, spreading in all directions. It was pure savagery, unconstrained by any machine, chip, or control program—an instinct forged from countless hormones and genes. In its agony, the dying Giant Beast descended into madness.
All its tentacles thrashed wildly, sweeping across the sky. They lashed past the combat swarm and the Salamanders behind it. Plus of black smoke rose as aircraft plumted from the sky.
Without programmatic control, it had beco a re wild animal. The stimulus of death had aroused its instincts as never before, making it extrely agitated. With just a slight nudge… it could cause imnse damage!
As the Ivy League's fighter fleet began ergency evasions, they saw a figure appear on the Synthetic Beast's forehead, smiling and waving at them.
In his hand, the Spear of Compassion slowly rose, then plunged downwards into the creature beneath his feet. Effortlessly, he carved a rift between flesh and steel. The spear tip penetrated the brain—far too small for the Giant Beast's massive body—tapped into the neural cluster, and spread its toxin.
Through the Source-Materialized steel, he felt its frantic, bestial nature and fear.
"Oh dear, Davarish, it seems like this one's smoking—" Huai Shi said with a smile, injecting a handful of Apocalypse. He infused a deafening philosophical question into its gradually dimming and exhausting consciousness: How many floors must a bag of rice be carried!
The mad roar burst forth once more. Imdiately, dense ink spread from nowhere, covering the entire octopus and whisking Huai Shi away into nothingness. Then, the colossal octopus materialized several kiloters away, its tentacles flailing wildly as it attacked the nearby aircraft and Salamanders.
A dozen Salamanders failed to dodge in ti and were brutally ensnared by the tentacles and stuffed into its mouth! Ignoring the crisscrossing Firepower, the dying Synthetic Titan attacked wildly, venting a vast rage that did not truly belong to it!
"What the hell!" Raymond, in the truck, glanced at the rearview mirror, his eyes nearly popping out. There, among the Ivy League's formation, the octopus, wrapped in Lock Chains, was being dragged about by Huai Shi, frantically darting in and out.
The imnse creature, relying on its fearso size and strength, easily wrought horrific destruction. Amid Huai Shi's excited yells, it unpredictably sprayed ink into the air, constantly teleporting, launching aggressive attacks, and then swiftly retreating.
As if riding a galloping horse, Huai Shi maneuvered it freely among several Synthetic Beasts and a sky full of Living Bombs! In the end, after leaping out of the Ivy League's "Offensive" range, the octopus began to flash erratically across the sky, moving further and further away!
"Can you stop playing around, please!" Raymond grabbed the walkie-talkie and shouted, "We're almost there! Co back now!"
"Err..." Amid the chaotic electrical noise and the howl of the wind, a prolonged silence followed. It wasn't until Raymond sensed sothing was amiss that an embarrassed reply ca through: "To be honest, I really want to return, but this thing… it doesn't have a steering wheel!"
Huai Shi shrugged. "It's not like I can brake whenever I want, you know?"
"What the hell?" Raymond was instantly dumbfounded. So all that frantic teleporting was because he accidentally lost control?
"Can you get any more ridiculous?"
"Actually, I could…" Huai Shi scratched his head, feeling the strange sensation of gravity and the rapidly approaching clouds. Finally, he slapped his palm. "It looks like this thing is about to fall!"
