At this mont, with the bizarre changes in the Central Tower, even the ground beneath everyone's feet was violently shaking, crumbling and fragnting.

Amidst the intense tremors, chunks of land rose and suspended in mid-air, colliding with each other and beginning to ascend under the pull of the tower's gravity.

Countless bridges stretched out from the top of the tower as if growing, continuously connecting the massive buildings and landmasses from all directions.

The lengthy warm-up had already begun.

Before long, the Eternal Frozen Core would reveal its true form.

In an instant of astonishnt, Huai Shi and August rapidly retreated, reorganizing their formation, desperately trying to prevent their group from being scattered in the violent turbulence.

But then, they realized—the ground they were on seed to be pulled... towards the Central Tower. What is this? An elevator ride? Or a direct ascent?

But one look at the invisible gravitational force emanating from the Do Giant's Crown and the thunderous guiding chains dropping from Abnormal Hell in the sky, and it was clear this was no accident.

mbers of both factions scattered everywhere were being continuously thrown into the Central Tower by the Miracle Imprints above their heads, seeking to seize the advantage.

Once they beca aware of this situation, the gazes shared between mbers of Iron Crystal Throne and Ivory Tower turned sour.

Although, based on the capabilities of both sides, anyone who didn't die on the spot could always be retrieved. However, even the most careful plans can face mishaps. Just as the ergency runes for instantly freezing vital organs could sotis fail, what about the large number of 'tool-like' mbers in both factions?

The suddenly halted conflict erupted once again at that mont.

Right at the forefront of the two armies, Huai Shi's movents suddenly froze.

As if struck by so invisible force, he was flung into the air, landing awkwardly. He had inexplicably levitated, then inexplicably fallen to the ground amid the dust. Incomprehensible. It was as if he had been shot by a sniper rifle.

After a brief numbness in his back, waves of excruciating pain followed. Sothing had pierced through Huai Shi's vitals.

Yet, when he looked down blankly at his chest, he couldn't see any wounds. He couldn't even see blood.

Dizziness ca abruptly, and Huai Shi suddenly blacked out.

「anwhile」

In the distance, beneath the thick clouds, an aircraft hung in the air as if nailed to the stormy sky, hovering precisely amidst the tempest.

The raging rain and bloodied gales whirled around it without causing the slightest tremor.

The more than two-ters-long rifle buzzed in the rain, still aid directly at Huai Shi's position. The Colonel lay prone in the cabin, his eyes peering through the scope, struggling to discern the scene below.

Relying on Ivy Vine's profound foundation in advanced materials science and its mastery of extre marksmanship, they had created an experintal weapon, achieving a sniper shot over twenty-six kiloters.

The error was no more than ten centiters—a feat of perfection!

Beside the Colonel, a mber of the Troupe—'Doctor'—knelt on the ground, supporting a complex telescope, constantly adjusting paraters. When he clearly glimpsed the figure tumbling to the ground, he couldn't help but exclaim in delight.

"Hit!"

"Really hit him?" the Colonel asked in disbelief.

"Indeed. We've been caught in a fallacy all along."

Doctor revealed a knowing smile. "He has a kind of innate intuition about death, so keen that anything capable of causing him serious harm can be detected, regardless of intent. I have seen such records in the history of Ivy Vine, but that doesn't an it's insurmountable.

"No matter how sharp his senses," Doctor continued, "as long as what we use can't kill him, or even cause him to bleed or sustain a severe injury, it won't be within the range of his Death Perception!"

This was the gift ticulously prepared by Ivy Vine, specifically aid at Huai Shi's Death Perception.

"Can it really be effective?" the Colonel questioned skeptically.

"This was originally prepared for those two old fellows, Simon and Foster. Using it on him doesn't exactly treat him poorly," replied the Doctor.

He explained, "Heard of the Regression Drug made by the Faceless Ones?"

The Colonel pondered for a while before responding, "I always thought that was just a myth..."

"Yes," Doctor sighed lightly. "I thought so too, until I saw it."

Regression Drug.

The Alchemy Potion, which had briefly appeared in the markets of the Border and Hell, was less a poison or a Curse and more like an unfinished blessing.

Its original purpose was for Sublimators who experienced anomalies during advancent or chose the wrong path. It could reverse a person's Stigma cleanly back to the previous stage. This effect was similar to that of renowned Authority Relics like Dongxia's White Wolf Hook, the Arican Solar Calendar, and the Russian Federation's Confession Cross, among others.

Unfortunately, for so reason even its creator didn't understand, when the regression comnced, the original Stigma didn't disappear. Instead, it entered an Imaginary Status, undetectable even by the Sublimator themselves.

Once the half-hour duration of the drug's effect elapsed, it would rapidly revert to its original state.

The inherent defects and pain could not be avoided. Anything done during this process would be ineffective, as nothing could alter the outco.

In the end, it was an incomplete product.

But soon, people discovered its potential in other applications.

For example... assassination and poisoning.

Legend has it that the creator of the Regression Drug disappeared for this very reason. To this day, no one has discovered his whereabouts, nor has anyone found the complete formula for the drug.
