When Huai Shi opened his eyes, he saw the golden dream before him crumbling and shattering amidst the collapse.
The Colosseum had vanished without a trace. In its place were the fragnted stands and the gradually collapsing stage.
The outlines of tall towers were slowly erging, while all that was illusory disappeared…
Long hair fluttered past his eyes in the wind, carrying a delicate, fresh scent.
It was Luo Xian.
She sat beside Huai Shi, gazing at the scene beyond the tower. Tucking her wind-blown hair behind her ear, she turned and smiled at him.
"The story that doesn't belong to you has ended, Huai Shi," she said softly. "Are you going to move forward alone again?"
"I'm sorry."
Huai Shi nodded, not daring to look at her.
"Because soone is calling for help, right?" Luo Xian tilted her head to look at him, as if sighing with emotion. "You just can't ignore anyone crying out for help; that's just your troubleso personality, I know. Though I always feel you're a bit of a scumbag for it, I still hope that dashing figure of yours will be seen by more people."
Huai Shi forced a smile, wanting to say sothing, but his expression stiffened.
After a brief silence, he lowered his head, unable to face those eyes full of hope. "I'm sorry, Sister Xian. This ti, I can't save them anymore…"
"Isn't that perfectly normal? No one can do everything; there are always limits." Luo Xian's smile remained unchanged. She reached out and forcefully pinched his cheek, as if to encourage him. "However, there should still be things that you can do, right?"
She added, "The things you *should* do."
Stared at by those gentle eyes, Huai Shi stood frozen. After a long mont, he slowly nodded. "That's right."
Her smile then grew even more tender.
"Then go, Huai Shi." Luo Xian reached out and hugged him again, so gently. "It's ti for you to leave, to go where you should be. Don't linger, and don't look back."
"If you feel pain, cry out. If you're sad, it's okay to cry like a child. If you encounter an insurmountable obstacle, call for again."
She looked into Huai Shi's eyes, so close, and earnestly told him, "If that happens, no matter where I am, I will definitely co to your side."
She unreservedly offered all the gentleness and understanding she had.
Luo Xian smiled, looking so cool and confident. "Just as you saved , I will definitely co to save you, Huai Shi, no matter how far apart we are."
Huai Shi couldn't help but sigh, overwheld by such tenderness.
"Be a bit stricter sotis, Sister Xian."
I always feel that if this continues, I'll rapidly degenerate into a useless person… like a spoiled child, becoming more and more disgraceful.
"Is it because you're too hard on yourself?" Luo Xian smiled, letting go and taking a step back. "Go on, Huai Shi. Go on, I'll be watching you."
Being looked at with such eyes, Huai Shi inexplicably felt a surge of courage and determination welling up in his chest, surprising even himself.
It allowed him to calmly face everything and to part with a smile.
"Goodbye, Sister Xian," Huai Shi said softly, taking his leave. "I'm setting off!"
He retreated slowly, turned, and headed towards the tower once more, beginning the final climb, never looking back.
"You can do it! You can do it!" Luo Xian smiled, watching his retreating figure.
Gradually, along with the last of the stage, she dissipated into nothingness, turning into scattered light.
Vanishing from sight.
Below the clouds of the Sky Do, in the radiance of the glow, their struggles and collisions had finally co to an end.
Enveloped in a Halo, Atlas quietly stared at everything on the ground. He rely defended coldly against the "Offensive" from the Abnormal Hell, without even a hint of counterattack.
Finally, this drove Michel into a towering rage.
"Are you looking down on , Mikhail!" the old man atop the altar bellowed. "Do you dare to be distracted in my presence!"
Furious bolts of lightning converged within the rain clouds. The Rain God's Power surged across this slice of Hell, raising a calamitous wave from the void. It instantly penetrated the glowing screen surrounding the Giant, leaving deep fissures on Astra's physical shell.
Countless scattered sparks of light, like blood, flew out from the fissures, dissipating into the air.
And the contemplative Astra finally raised his head, looking at the enemy before him.
"Are you that desperate to defeat , Michel?"
"Is it wrong to want to win?" Michel retorted coldly. "Is there anyone willing to accept a life filled with failure, Mikhail? You can mock , but your mockery is useless."
"No, not at all. In fact... I have the utmost respect for the will you and your side have demonstrated up to this point."
Uncharacteristically, the Great Grandmaster didn't resort to sarcasm or condescending criticism. He remained calm and composed, expressing respect for the enemy before him.
"You have made think that perhaps my previous disdain was a mistake. But unfortunately, I will not correct it. The gap between us cannot be bridged by effort and passion alone."
The Great Grandmaster said, "You should be well aware of this, Michel. People must sotis accept reality, accept their own powerlessness. If I say this, you might think I'm just spouting more condescending nonsense, so I won't elaborate."
