"So powerful, could it be a creation of the Dark Civilization?" KIKI said in surprise.
Ding Junyi shook her head: "I can’t be sure, but we discovered in the Star Abyss that the Dark Civilization is performing ’dinsional modifications’ on our world, causing regional gravitational expansion effects. Having such technology is conceivable."
Hearing this, Lin Xian and KIKI were speechless.
"Dr. Ding, are you saying that the monsters in the darkness can actually create technology far more advanced than humans!?" Sha Sha couldn’t help but ask.
Ding Junyi shrugged: "At least there is currently no other explanation."
"Oh my god, that’s terrifying," KIKI said, frowning, "We’ve always thought that the Star Abyss contained only those terrifying monsters, assuming it was an Alien invasion. If they have such technology, is there any chance for humanity to win?"
"Yeah, if the Dark Civilization is that powerful, why are there only beasts and Abnormal Bodies that look brainless to slaughter humans? Could they have so ’intelligence’?" Sha Sha questioned with wide eyes.
"No need to think about it, they definitely do."
Lin Xian took a deep breath and said, "Currently, we’ve found that those above the S-Class possess a certain level of intelligence and logical behavior and can be considered true Dark Creatures. Although they appear to be monsters, they can defend against nuclear weapons and have red mist defenses and defensive force fields against kinetic energy weapons. These abilities aren’t typical biological capabilities. Moreover, the power of the Dark Invasion gives humans powerful superpowers. In a sense, the Dark Civilization must wield so powerful energy."
Ding Junyi nodded: "Yes, and we are accustod to understanding the group logic of the Dark Civilization with human thought, which is actually incorrect."
She looked at Lin Xian: "Rember I told you that above S-Class might be the true Dark Creatures?"
"Yes." Lin Xian nodded in response.
"That statent isn’t precise. It should be that S-Class possesses individual creatures capable of human-like brain thinking, showing obvious differences from other Abnormal Bodies created by the Nest. If we regard Abnormal Bodies as drones with a ’Blood Essence’ battery, then S-Class should belong to the Dark Civilization’s creatures. But this doesn’t an S-Class is the intelligent entity of the Dark Civilization."
Ding Junyi took a deep breath: "I boldly speculate that S-Class might also be manufactured by the Dark Civilization, like so kind of clone or hound-like existence. However, this existence can command Abnormal Bodies within a range and possesses a dark energy cell structure that absorbs all Dark Energy."
Lin Xian agreed: "Yes, a civilization capable of interstellar travel and dinsional modifications can’t rely be a simple monster invasion. These monsters and Abnormal Bodies are tools used to clear out humans. I previously discussed this with Professor Ye, and she ntioned the sa viewpoint. But what we don’t understand is why the Dark Civilization is doing this—their motives, purposes, and from a human logic perspective, with their level of technology, humans couldn’t resist for even a hundred days..."
"Indeed."
Ding Junyi looked at the tal Dice: "Take this dice, for example. If this is a weapon, all human civilization’s defense thods would be rendered useless—any solid defense would be like air in front of this thing."
"If this dice falls at teor speed, the kinetic energy generated would reach at least over a billion GJ, equivalent to millions of tons of TNT. We simply can’t endure such power."
Lin Xian recalled the words "No Resistance Allowed" on the photovoltaic wings of South Heavenly Gate and felt a heavy sense of dread.
He looked gravely at the tal Dice and said,
"The question now is... why is this a dice?"
Whoosh...
The Infinity swiftly raced along its oceanic orbit under the clear sky. Inside the carriage, Lin Xian and the others couldn’t reach any conclusions, so he moved the tal Dice into the Black Star Forge Space for detailed research.
In the Black Star Forge, Lin Xian observed the floating tal Dice and muttered to himself,
"Fortunately, there’s the Black Star Forge; otherwise, I wouldn’t know where to place this 1,000-ton object..."
KIKI would need to focus her superpower to levitate this dice, consuming substantial energy. Without the Black Star Forge, Lin Xian wouldn’t know what materials to use to lift such a weight. It would certainly stress the carriage. Now he understood that the crack on the platform wasn’t pierced through; instead, the object’s natural descent tore the ground apart, for if it fell from the sky, as Ding Junyi ntioned, the entire Taku Deep Water Port would no longer exist.
"What kind of civilization could create sothing like this, and what’s the purpose of making it?"
He imdiately attempted to scan using his chanical superpower, but in an instant, Lin Xian’s face changed slightly.
For his chanical Heart had no response at all!
The chanical Heart gave no indication of whether it could decompose or devour, nor was there any sign of energy being drained; it was simply... unresponsive...
"Huh..."
Lin Xian frowned. He wanted to see if he could devour and decompose this material, but even scanning was ineffective. This was the first ti the chanical Heart had encountered such a situation. Previously, with the Heterogeneous Rubik’s Cube and the container holding Heavy Suspension Liquid from SIID, there had been reactions. However, this ti, there was none—almost as if the chanical Heart couldn’t recognize the existence of this object at all.
