He picked up the red phone, his finger hovering just a few centiters above the red button, slightly trembling, sweat gathering and dripping from his forehead.

"This doesn’t make sense! How can the Aricans start a nuclear war with just five missiles? This seems more like an exercise malfunction or a technical failure! But... what if it’s not? What if this is a preemptive strike?"

"22 minutes! Protocol demands imdiate reporting!" The staff officer stood by his side: "We must respond!"

At this mont, everyone’s eyes were fixated on Petrov, each aware of the horrifying pressure he was under.

To retaliate ans war! An irreversible nuclear war ensuring mutual destruction!

Billions would die tonight, including those present here, the nation could vanish, no one would believe that destruction could co in an instant.

Ti seed to freeze, only those red numbers counting rcilessly down.

The staff officer urgently reported: "Comrade Colonel! The readings are confird accurate! There are 21 minutes left! We must report!!"

Lin Xian quietly watched the scene; as an observer, he knew this was rely an information crisis in history, that by waiting for the final confirmation from ground radar systems, it would reveal itself to be a misunderstanding, a false alarm that years later would circulate online as a historical anecdote, not even making it into history books.

However, the scene he imagined didn’t happen. Petrov suddenly closed his eyes, took a deep breath of the murky air, then pressed the call button under Lin Xian’s gaze...

What!???

Buzz~

The buzzing noise filled Lin Xian’s brain instantly, as if his own mind drew a blank at this mont.

Lin Xian opened his eyes, only to feel his vision leaving his body, continuously rising, as if his soul was flying out, passing through the missile warning center’s underground bunker, soaring from the forest into the black sky, a piercing chill penetrating his bones, resembling what was foreseen on ancient battlefields as the end of days.

As he flew higher and higher, he saw with his own eyes those vast barren lands, missile silo doors bursting open, red-star-marked missiles shooting out, flas tearing through the dim sky.

In the distance, the waves of the Baltic Sea surged, a nuclear submarine surfaced like a giant beast, launching ballistic missiles that pierced the clouds with a whistling of death, their trails leaving a pale glow.

Countless rockets ascended, burning like brilliant stars, surging towards the sky.

This deadly symphony imdiately ignited the prelude to the nuclear war, every region around the globe saw intensive missile launches simultaneously, aiming for every corner of the world.

The financial elites in New York skyscrapers looked up abruptly from their keyboards, the intense light outside the window devouring everything, their gasps turned to dust in their office chairs, suit fragnts mixed with paper scraps flying like snow.

Coffee aroma just wafted from early morning cafes on the streets of London, pedestrians fled in panic, but the shock wave instantly crushed flesh into dust, the entire city reduced to boiling ruins.

In Tokyo, millions lay asleep in the dead of night, in an apartnt housing four generations under one roof, a grandmother peacefully closed her eyes on the tatami, a child curled up in the parents’ arms, all unaware, torn apart by explosions, both residence and family turned to nothing amidst a pillar of light, the entire Tokyo engulfed by the flowers of destruction fired simultaneously from three directions, lding into the flas.

Nuclear bombs descended silently, the entire land turned to desolate scorched earth, only the heat waves from Starfire rolling away. Panic is a futile symphony; tourists on California’s beaches scattered with screams, only to fall on sands lted by the light.

Outside Moscow, factories fell silent, workers beside assembly lines unable to set down their tools, high temperatures and radiation vaporizing steel and flesh alike, leaving charred skeletons collapsed on the ground.

Suns ignited one by one over the cities, dazzling light turned the horizons snow-white.

Lin Xian felt his breath stagnating, as if he was back on the night Apocalypse Day arrived, destruction so sudden that in a blink, the world ceased to exist.

Then, as the intense light receded, Lin Xian blinked, looking again, found himself back inside the tent, the spherical device projecting the holographic image still floating in midair, a few words paused before him.

[Simulation of Humanity’s Fate Scenario 1 Concluded]

Inside the tent, Hua Xiaoling was no longer present, the tea on the table still retained so warmth, an extrely potent wave of dark energy fluctuated through the tent before quickly disappearing, Lin Xian stood with a complicated expression where he was, noticing the spherical device retracting its projection and slowly drifting to his hand as he reached for it.

At that mont, the holographic screen of the chanical Heart suddenly popped up.

[chanical Source Points Successfully Converted 3000]

Lin Xian frowned, feeling even more bewildered.

Simulation of civilizations ending, what does it an, is it trying to convey so ssage to him?

Humanity ending civilization with nuclear war, what does it signify?

And why did he absorb so many chanical Source Points????

Lin Xian looked at the spherical device in his hand, montarily unable to react.

"Lin Xian!"

Wow, the tent’s curtain was suddenly lifted, Chen Sixuan, clad in Power Armor and wielding the Night Hunter, rushed in, seeing Lin Xian imdiately asked, "Are you okay?!"

Lin Xian looked around: "Where’s Hua Xiaoling?"

"Gone, suddenly vanished from my thermal radar, I didn’t see how she left." Chen Sixuan opened her visor, looking at Lin Xian’s complex expression, frowned: "What did she show you? I found you standing there for 20 minutes."
