"It ans all production and living activities from now on can only happen on the train." Lin Xian said grimly.
Hearing this, the air among the group solidified.
Lin Xian slowly let out a breath. "I an, I’d like to say maybe it won’t be that bad. Those of us with Full Coverage Power Armor should be able to move around a bit inside the crimson. But it definitely can’t be compared with the previous pitch-black nights. The danger factor is way too high. Once we rendezvous with the alliance convoy, I’m guessing everyone will be stuck living on this Doomsday Train, fleeing all the way."
"Then your plantation won’t be nearly enough~" Monica said with a smile.
Lin Xian tilted his head. "Perfect. I was planning to connect that intercontinental train to the Infinity, expand the planting carriages, and also start so livestock farming—raise so chickens, ducks, cows, sheep, that sort of thing."
Ning Jing looked at him and smiled faintly. "Captain Lin, I’ve always felt there’s a kind of Energy about you—no matter how desperate the situation gets, you always manage to find so belief that keeps people going."
"If we don’t keep going, what else can we do, kill ourselves?" Lin Xian quipped. "Look at you all now, each one of you is basically a superhero. One punch hits like a cannon, one slash can cut through waves, soone can turn into a giant, soone can control Magic Puppets, soone’s firing lasers—you’re all going all out just to stay alive. No matter how bad things get, we can only find ways to deal with it, right?"
With that, he got up and headed toward the door. "Shi Zhi said there’s been a change with the people in the Hibernation Pods. You all keep watch here, I’ll go take a look."
"I’ll go with you." Ding Junyi followed him.
" too~" Sha Sha’s eyes lit up and she hurried after Lin Xian.
Lin Xian handed the defense mission over to Monica and the others. After their Crystal Grid Evolution, these few were terrifyingly powerful in combat, and with Viola and the Sky Do’s firepower sitting on the bridge, he could safely leave it to them. He and Sha Sha quickly headed to the Hibernation Pod hall.
It was still not yet 11 a.m., the sky outside was pitch dark. Though the waves were surging outside, the interior of the Sky Do Train remained perfectly stable.
As soon as Lin Xian entered the Hibernation Pod hall, he first saw Chen Sixuan already wearing a Nanoter Inner Liner Suit, sitting in a pod. Her face was covered in sweat, her long hair soaked through, and she looked utterly exhausted. Shi Zhi was beside her, using her green Superpower to soothe the surging Dark Energy Fluctuation raging through Chen Sixuan’s body.
"Her heart rate is very fast, but her spiritual power isn’t showing any major issues." Seeing Lin Xian approach, Shi Zhi imdiately spoke.
Ding Junyi picked up the terminal and said calmly, "15,800. Her Spirit Vibration Value surged this much?"
Then she looked at Chen Sixuan. "According to my records, your previous peak was only around 6,500, right? At this ratio, your Crystal Grid has actually increased by over 140%."
Lin Xian looked at Chen Sixuan too and couldn’t help asking, "What happened, Teacher Chen, how are you feeling?"
Chen Sixuan slowly nodded, then took a deep breath and lowered her head. "Lin Xian, I had a nightmare."
"Oh?"
"I dread of... a terrifying Monster. No human could escape being Devoured by it, huff..."
Chen Sixuan wiped the sweat from her face and pressed a hand to her chest. "Now I really can feel the Dark Energy you’ve been talking about. It’s like... a current of water, existing in our atmosphere."
Lin Xian smiled faintly, letting out a breath of relief seeing that Chen Sixuan was okay, and helped her down.
"15,800—you can now literally kick to death that White Giant Monster we t back in Jiang City. That Red Slug could be torn apart by you with your bare hands."
"Whoa, Sister Chen, you’ve gotten that strong!" Sha Sha chid in.
"Am I really that violent?" Chen Sixuan frowned up at Lin Xian, shooting him a resentful look, then shifted her gaze to the other Hibernation Pods. "What about them, how are they?"
"Should be soon." Lin Xian said.
Sha Sha ran over to check the pods where Luo Yang and Xiao Qing were, one by one. In the end, her steps stopped in front of KIKI’s pod. Her little face scrunched up, eyes narrowing as she peered inside, then she imdiately waved Lin Xian over.
