Clang clang~

In the high-altitude corridor, thousands of cars erupt into a thunderous roar of cheers, akin to a mountain-tide.

So roar in anger, so exclaim in surprise.

So weep in pain, so gasp for breath.

The only commonality is the shock brought about by that perilous life-saving sprint!

At this mont, the four trains responsible for traction do not halt, being dragged by the chanical traction devices on the tracks, proceeding to rge lanes. The coupling of the rear trailers is finally released and the yellow towing platforms laden with the Survivor Caravan are activated by the system to enter the sequence channel for electromagnetic acceleration.

"Captain Lin, thank you," the voice of Jiang Yun cos through the intercom.

Onboard Infinity, Lin Xian is covered in sweat, nearly fainting. Just now, for the first ti, he felt the chanical Heart almost overload and explode, the whole person nearly passing out.

At this mont, the entire Giant Whale 03E heavy gas turbine locomotive’s power turbine emits the cooling sound of emptiness, with the steaming heat waves billowing within the engine group.

He gasps, lifting his head to look ahead at the dense convoy. Among them, he sees Jiang Yun, Shu Qin, Xu Jin, and old Lao Mo, all seated in their heavy trucks, saluting him through their windows.

"Captain Lin, we’ll wait for you in Jiazhou," Shu Qin, seated in the vehicle, crosses Infinity with the towing platform, moving slowly forward, saying excitedly.

"Thank you, Captain Lin, we would have been finished without you this ti, I’ll definitely repay you if I have the chance!" Xu Jin also expresses his feelings at this mont.

"Thanks, young man Lin, if there’s a chance to et again, rember to upgrade the train driving chanism, the tracks behind are not easy to navigate..." Lao Mo advises.

"Goodbye, and good luck to you all," Lin Xian looks toward everyone and picks up the intercom to respond.

Everyone expresses their gratitude toward Lin Xian, and thousands of vehicles begin to move, with many mbers aboard Silver Star and Dragon Mountain No.1 waving out of their windows.

Woo~

tal windshields rise in front of each towing platform, and as the tow generators accelerate electromagnetically, they quickly surge toward the distance. The interior of the high-altitude corridor is close to a vacuum environnt, capable of accelerating these vehicles to unbelievable speeds.

On the military intercontinental train of the Iron Guard Brigade, Bai Shuang watches the array of cars continuously departing with a relieved expression on his face.

"Mr. Bai, we made it..." Wei Kexue, sweating profusely, now sits back in his seat with a complex expression, wiping off the cold sweat from his face in fright: "This is definitely the most thrilling thing I’ve ever done in my life."

"It’s not over yet, hurry and get the other trains onto their respective lines," Bai Shuang maintains his composure.

Wei Kexue nods his head, imdiately regains his wits, and starts to operate the system dispatch.

So many people have not yet succeeded in passing through the high-altitude tunnel; surging up was rely the first formidable hurdle.

Beep.

Soon, all the towing platforms are entered into the electromagnetic acceleration channel and quickly depart, the Airport dispatch system starts to guide the four trains onto different tracks, releasing the limiters, and notifies them they can proceed freely.

At this mont, voices from other trains co through Lin Xian’s intercom.

"Lin Xian, this is Jian Xuwei representing the entire Silver Star, expressing my thanks to you. I owe you a favor," Jian Xuwei’s normally aloof voice carries a touch of recognition, unable to believe that Lin Xian could make such decisive moves in the life-and-death mont just now, and it seems that he had such a contingency plan in mind all along.

This compels her to reassess this man anew. The mysterious chanical Superpower, the proposed ’towing plan’ to rescue everyone, the crucial mont using the heavy gas turbine locomotive to salvage the most critical ascent speed, and winning precious ti for the other trains’ system restarts.

This man is extraordinary.

Behind Jian Xuwei, Jian Zeyang sits on the ground, pale-faced, with a look of horror, murmuring in shock like a survivor of a calamity: "Gas turbine... how is this possible, it’s unbelievable..."

"Thank you, you’ve also been a great help," on Infinity, Lin Xian responds.

Whether it was resisting or participating in the towing plan, Silver Star acted as absolute support alongside Dragon Mountain No.1. If it had only been Infinity, it wouldn’t have been possible.

"See you around the Star Orbit."

"Goodbye."

Woo~

Silver Star lights up with sci-fi-like engine lights, carrying more than three thousand passengers, and quickly dashes toward the distance.

"Good job, kid, I, Shi Deyuan, will rember you. If there’s a chance to et again in the Star Orbital, I’ll definitely buy you a drink."

Shi Deyuan’s hearty voice also cos through, and Lin Xian has a particularly strong impression of this man. In the apocalypse, he’s seen as one of the few who could step forward without any hesitation, besides Jiang Yun, he might be considered the second.

"Safe travels!" Lin Xian responds.

Dragon Mountain No.1, this large mobile fortress, also begins to accelerate, rushing forward, and its many carriages quickly disappear from sight.

Silver Star and Dragon Mountain No.1 do not delay, quickly entering the track line and initiating their autonomous engines to accelerate away toward the distance.

"Captain Lin, thank you for your help with this evacuation. I will report the situation, and if you need anything, you can always seek help from the Phoenix Society’s rescue organizations everywhere. The Airport is about to fall. Please evacuate imdiately."

On the other end, Bai Shuang’s voice also cos through, and also Wei Kexue’s voice: "Captain Lin, I wish you luck, hope to see you again!"

"Okay!"

Lin Xian responds imdiately, and the two trains move into different track lines, starting to accelerate.

Without the electromagnetic acceleration tow platforms, the four trains can only use their own engines to accelerate on the tracks of the high-altitude corridor, which although slower, is a trivial issue compared to the matter of life and death.

As the speed of the few trains varies, and with everyone worried that the Atmospheric Jellyfish might attack the high-altitude corridor, no one delays, all moving at high speeds, rapidly progressing to escape the first Yu Bei City Airport.

Within this group, Infinity was the slowest. It wasn’t long before the three trains in the lead had all disappeared at the end of the high-altitude corridor.

At this mont, as the train continued to travel, Lin Xian finally let out a sigh of relief.

"How are you?" Chen Sixuan approached anxiously at this ti, seeing that both Lin Xian and KIKI were exhausted and drenched in sweat.

Lin Xian stood up and said, "Is everyone alright?"

"We’re all okay."

"That was close just now." KIKI fanned herself continuously with both hands, her face filled with lingering fear: "I almost thought the train was going to fall."

If at that mont the Horizon Gate had shattered and the train’s engines had failed, the fate of these ten to twenty thousand people would have been incredibly tragic. Falling from thousands of ters in the air, the outco was unthinkable.

"Stop talking, we’re still not out of danger. Teacher Chen, use Gemini to accelerate the train to its maximum speed."

"Okay!" Chen Sixuan imdiately nodded in agreent.

Lin Xian’s face was pale, and he felt dizzy at this point, but he had no ti to think about resting. That giant Atmospheric Mica was still in the sky, and with tonight’s sinister siege conditions, those countless monsters in the sky could attack the high-altitude corridor at any mont. Although the energy reserves now could support the anti-air weapons outside the high-altitude corridor, everybody was currently 4800 ters above ground. How could he feel at ease?

Just as Lin Xian took a mont to catch his breath, preparing to once again activate the chanical Heart for acceleration, a deep roar ca from the air.

Thud!

Everyone on the train felt a numbness in their faces as if so shock wave was hitting them.

Instantly, everyone turned their heads to look at the windows on the side of the train.

Inside the corridor, a buzzing sound was coming rapidly from the distance.

"What’s happening?!!"

"An earthquake?"

"No, it’s an explosion!" Lin Xian’s pupils shrank sharply, and he imdiately shouted, "Everyone hold on tight!"

At the sa ti, he once again activated the chanical Heart, causing Infinity to accelerate.

Boom!

A powerful shock wave instantly rushed past the train, causing the entire high-altitude corridor to keep violently shaking.

"Ah!!"

Chen Sixuan and Sha Sha imdiately scread, and everyone started to lie on the ground. Inside the massive high-altitude corridor passageway, it felt like a cruise ship drifting on stormy seas, constantly undulating.

With the violent shock wave approaching, Lin Xian felt the train’s engine’s frantic progress, his physical strength began to fade rapidly, and for a mont, it seed as if ti had slowed down.

He thought he could hear the sound of his own breathing and heartbeat, his lips went numb, his vision beca dizzy.

"Accelerate..."

"Speed up..."

...

Over the high skies in front of Yu Bei City’s Airport No. 1, Atmospheric Micas and nurous Sky Jellyfish floated around, millions of zombies sward, and strange corpse chasers stood tall in the center of the city, staring toward the east. Suddenly a blue orb of light shone brightly high in the sky, this light was incredibly dazzling, like a newborn sun blooming on the land, its brightness enough to pierce one’s eyes. At that mont, Yu Bei City was nothing but a vast expanse of white.

Then, a massive shock wave erupted from the epicenter of the explosion, rapidly expanding outwards in a ring, causing the ground to tremble everywhere it reached, raising dust into the air and forming an expansive dust curtain that blocked out the sky. It was as if the air had ignited in an instant, emitting a deafening roar, like the simultaneous striking of millions of giant drums or thunderbolts exploding through heaven and earth.

Afterward, a giant mushroom cloud began to slowly rise. The cloud was wide at the bottom and the top was like a huge umbrella opening, constantly rolling and expanding upwards, changing color from initial grey-white to black, as if a Demon Flower had risen from Hell, carrying an endless aura of destruction.

Beneath the colossal shock wave, millions of zombies were vaporized in an instant, the Sky Jellyfish were imdiately swallowed by the bright orb, and the Atmospheric Micas in the sky emitted strange tremors, but no one could hear them.

The mountain-like edge of the mushroom cloud began to burn, and nurous huge tentacles shattered and crumbled like boulders.

"General, will we win?"

On the central high platform in Area E of Airport Square, behind Zhang Dingzhong was a multitude of fallen Iron Guard soldiers, the last remaining dozen surrounding him. He looked toward the giant humanoid shadow in the city center, which seed to be gazing back at him.

"The anthem of humanity is the hymn of courage; even the darkest skies will one day be illuminated."

Hum.

The orb exploded, everything was engulfed in blinding white light.

On the edge of the 3rd Star Abyss Polar Night, engulfing thousands of kiloters, a light shined bright, burning away the lurking strangeness in the darkness.

On the high-altitude corridor, thousands of survivor vehicles sped along, four trains roared on the sky corridor, nearly twenty thousand people struggling in the race!

On board Infinity, a static-filled voice ca from the dark radio, Lin Xian walked over with a weary face, surrounded by team mbers.

Chen Sixuan, KIKI, Building, Sha Sha, Ding Junyi, and Lu Xingchen all looked solemnly at the radio.

A voice sounded on the radio in all the survivor vehicles

"Phoenix Society global announcent - from the latest Star Abyss investigations and analyses, the global night is expanding tidally due to Star Abyss’s influence. Its expansion speed is slowed by the distance from the Star Abyss center. According to Phoenix Society’s calculations, Blue Star will enter a global night in 1 year and 96 days. This polar night may last over 571 years. To preserve the spark of human civilization, Phoenix Society hereby broadcasts to all survivors worldwide: please follow the paths planned against the Star Abyss distal point, escape eastward to dawn."

"Wherever you are right now, please survive by all ans, believe that dawn... will eventually arrive!"
