"Lin Xian."

As they drew closer, Lin Xian beca more convinced that the woman might still be alive.

Cautiously, Lin Xian created a long rod and poked the woman in the back.
The woman slumped sideways from her chair, her body not stiff and still breathing faintly. Lin Xian and KIKI exchanged glances, and KIKI imdiately raised her hand to use her Superpower, grabbing the woman from the chair and then gently placing her on the aisle floor.
"She’s definitely alive." KIKI frowned and said, "But her heartbeat and breathing are very erratic, she seems close to death."
Lin Xian walked over and shone the flashlight on the woman’s body. She appeared to be in her early thirties, her body pale and with a malnourished look, her hair and clothes extrely unkempt, and she didn’t even have shoes on her feet, exuding the aura of soone near death.
He looked at the last row of at People Bones; they weren’t highly decayed, seeming quite fresh.
"Could be a survivor." Lin Xian squatted down to check the woman’s condition.
But as he shone the flashlight on her face, the woman as if blinded by the bright light, suddenly furrowed her brow, struggling to raise her hand.
Lin Xian and KIKI’s expressions changed as the woman’s breathing started to quicken, and then she slowly opened her eyes.
In the next instant, the woman saw Lin Xian and KIKI in front of her, her eyes widened in terror, and she imdiately started to scoot back on the ground in panic.
"Don’t be scared, we won’t hurt you. Who are you?"
Lin Xian did not expect the woman to wake up suddenly, and upon seeing her frightened appearance, imdiately spoke out.
But it was as if the woman was scared out of her wits, completely not hearing Lin Xian’s words, continually moving back, then struggling to stand up and turn to run.
"Catch her!"
Seeing this, Lin Xian decisively asked KIKI to act.
"Okay."
The two cooperated tacitly. KIKI directly raised her hand to use Telekinesis to catch the woman, dragging her back.
"Don’t be scared, we won’t hurt you." Lin Xian said loudly.
The woman struggled frantically under the invisible Telekinesis control, but her mouth seed unable to emit any sound.
KIKI frowned and looked at Lin Xian: "Could she be deaf-mute?"
Lin Xian also reflexively realized and was thinking of how to communicate when in a split second, he saw the woman’s expression turn even more terrified, and her gaze was not on Lin Xian and KIKI, but behind him in the corridor.
Both turned their heads quickly and found that at so point, a bizarre human face had appeared in the corridor behind them!
That was actually a person walking upside down!
"Be careful!"

Lin Xian never expected the monster to be so fast; he didn’t even have ti to create an iron door and could only reflexively conjure an ice shield.
And KIKI decisively raised her hand and pushed Lin Xian’s ice shield forward.

The white upside-down creature directly smashed into it, its slender arms flailing wildly, sending the at people bones on the seats flying, with chunks of flesh and skeletons going airborne, creating a clattering noise.
"Retreat first."
Lin Xian imdiately instructed KIKI to lead the others toward the exit of the cinema hall first, the presence of so many at people bones in this hall indicated that just like in Underground City #8’s sealed-off space, even during the dayti, there could be Abnormal Bodies!
"Okay." KIKI wasn’t able to maneuver well here, landing on the ground and using her superpower to grab the woman and begin running toward the ergency exit of the cinema hall.
Lin Xian quickly followed behind.

He fired several Wind Gun shots to test if they could deal with the Abnormal Body, but the white upside-down creature was extrely fast; after flipping his ice shield, it quickly caught up by climbing after them.

While running, KIKI struck out, using telekinesis to suppress the white upside-down creature, managing to hold it only for a few monts before the creature began to struggle furiously. The standoff continued until KIKI gritted her teeth, raised her hand, and pushed out a Shock Wave.

The carpets in the corridor and the hanging lamps on the walls exploded layer by layer, directly blasting the upside-down creature to the end of the hallway, its eerie limbs writhing and clawing in the shadows, then suddenly diving into the darkness and vanishing.
Lin Xian looked at KIKI and saw a look of urgency on her face, realizing that this thing might not be easy to handle.
"Let’s get out first." Lin Xian saw that the passage led to the projection room of the cinema, so he wanted to quickly move out onto the outside streets. "Who are you!"
Without a second word, KIKI saw the man’s eerie appearance and raised her hand prepared to subdue him with telekinesis straightaway.
Unexpectedly, the man suddenly opened his mouth wide, his face tearing apart, and brownish-red tentacles extended continuously from his throat as he let out a roar and lunged at them.
"A human ghost?!"
KIKI grabbed the human ghost in midair, holding it in place while Lin Xian charged up an Electric Surge with his hand, piercing through its head.
Puchi!
Ah!!!
The human ghost wailed and roared, being blasted to the ground by KIKI. Lin Xian stepped forward swiftly and aid a close-range Wind Gun shot at the human ghost’s head.
Chchch!
Blood and flesh flew in all directions; he drew his electric knife, activated the electric arc, and with one swift cut, he split it open!
Swoosh~
A mass of flesh flew out, and in that mont, Lin Xian and KIKI both saw that this human ghost was entirely different from what they had seen in Underground City #9. A thin layer of human skin covered it, but underneath the skin was a writhing monster, like a cluster of intertwined Red Worms!
"This... how did this monster co to be clothed in human skin??" KIKI was shocked at the mont.
"Could it be that all those people were skinned by these creatures, made to look like humans?" Lin Xian looked extrely grave because, before the tentacles ca out, it looked exactly like a normal person!
This was even more chilling than humans mutating into Zombies or human ghosts. If monsters beca more humanlike, the plight of humanity would beco even more terrifying.
At that mont, Lin Xian suddenly sensed sothing and imdiately turned his head to look at the woman they had just saved.
Because he realized that the woman had stopped struggling a long ti ago.
The woman who had previously fought hard to escape was now standing behind KIKI, with a sly smile creeping over her face, the corners of her mouth gradually rising, her face being lifted, becoming ghastly and horrifying, and less and less like a human!
