"Didn’t I say to bring the dical Cabin back first?"

"Lin Xian, co quickly, there’s really sothing good!" KIKI’s voice sounded urgent.

Lin Xian frowned upon hearing this, imdiately grasped the Black Gun, and called Ding Junyi: "Let’s go, let’s check the 9th floor."

Ding Junyi seed a bit reluctant, holding a stack of docunts, but Lin Xian directly grabbed her arm and pulled her along.

Walking along the corridor through the passage, Lin Xian pressed the elevator and, together with Ding Junyi, took it down to the 9th floor.

This area was where Hua Xiaoling had previously brought him, and Lin Xian rembered the layout well. This floor was extraordinarily spacious, drastically different from other floors; even the ceiling height was triple that of the previous floors. The ceiling displayed blue skies and white clouds in real-ti, thanks to so reflective screen-like material.

The fake windows in the corridor showed skyscrapers and verdant jungles, a design seemingly ant to relieve stress, so that foundation mbers conducting long-term underground research wouldn’t feel too oppressed during work.

Lin Xian led Ding Junyi through several large office areas, continuing straight down a corridor, and soon saw the building waiting for them at a doorway.

"Brother Xian."

"What’s going on?" Lin Xian asked.

He glanced at the plaque on the room, which read [Hua Xiaoling], and understood it must be Hua Xiaoling’s office.

The building touched his head: "I’m not sure, you should go take a look."

Without another word, Lin Xian pushed the door open and entered, first t by a large semicircular room. Outside the enormous wide portholes was the large research plaza he and KIKI had seen earlier, now completely empty.

Various glass incubation pods were broken and vacant, the cha repair platform was desolate, only so seemingly insignificant research equipnt remained.

"Captain Lin."

Shu Qin’s voice ca from behind, causing Lin Xian to turn around and see KIKI standing with arms crossed, filled with excitent and curiosity, by an open secret wall. She pointed to a two-ter diater large explosion-proof tal code door beside her and said to Lin Xian: "Guess how I found it?"

Lin Xian walked over and took a look: "Could this be Hua Xiaoling’s safe? But it’s way too large."

"Anyway, there must be so secret inside," KIKI said, using Telekinesis to rotate a decorative statue in the room—instantly, the secret wall behind her closed again.

"See, isn’t it magical?"

"Open it," Lin Xian said with eyes glinting. When KIKI opened the secret wall again, he walked up, placed his hand on the explosion-proof tal code door, and started urging the chanical Heart to cover.

Soon, he furrowed his brow: "It’s quite complicated, there should be a large space behind here, everyone be careful."

Upon hearing this, the building and Shu Qin drew their weapons, positioned in a triangular stance, and watched the door.

Klang~

A tallic closing sound echoed, and Lin Xian gently opened the tal code door; at the first mont of opening, a current of electricity suddenly resonated, making the skin tingle.

"Be careful!"

Woo~

KIKI stepped in for Lin Xian, using Telekinesis to open the door. The group hurriedly stepped away, simultaneously casting their gazes inside, only to find a black corridor lit up at the floor, extending toward a room in the distance glowing with eerie red light.

Lin Xian went inside without saying a word, followed by KIKI.

The mont they stepped into the corridor, an extre sense of silence washed over them; the floor was spotless, and even their footsteps seed to instantaneously vanish—the room and corridor seed to use so kind of high-end sound-absorbing material.

Lin Xian and KIKI exchanged glances, then looked ahead. After a few steps, they arrived at the room emitting serene red light, and their faces changed abruptly.

"What is this thing?"

KIKI spoke in surprise.

The secret open room contained a round tal base surrounded by various rhombus-shaped columns, all converging towards the top. Atop the tallic base, a very peculiar device hovered, held by a slender tal arm, while the surrounding rhombus columns glowed dimly red.

Lin Xian furrowed his brow, noting the device resembled a small curing cabin, about a ter high, its cylindrical container filled with red liquid with unknown contents.

"It looks like a special containnt device, but who knows what’s inside that tube," Lin Xian remarked.

"Who cares, let’s grab it and see."

KIKI scrunched her nose and reached up with her hand, grabbing the thing into the air.

Yet as she anticipated to have a closer look, when the containnt device drew near, a sudden pallor washed over her, her eyes widened, the telekinesis in her hand flickered, causing the device to fall towards the ground.

Quick-eyed, Lin Xian stepped forward to catch it.

Thud~ A heavy force emanated from his hands as the Power Armor Spine sensed instability. Instantly, it autonomously output torque, the hydraulic power group humd, and finally, it resolutely seized hold of the object.
