KIKI, along with the PX-05 robot, ca forward and looked at the brutal battlefield ahead, unable to help but frown.
Monsters over 3 ters tall were everywhere, densely packed, more terrifying than the snow demons they had encountered before, a hundred tis worse. It was hard to imagine what had happened here before.
"These aren’t our people."
Ning Jing quickly approached a frozen corpse, examined it, and frowned, "It doesn’t seem like they’re from the Phoenix Society either."
"That Hercules belongs to the Phoenix Society," Lin Xian said gravely, then took out binoculars and looked into the distance, "It looks like there’s more than one."
"What are they transporting with so many Hercules?" KIKI’s eyes widened.
The Hercules transporter weighs over 1,000 tons upon takeoff, primarily used in the military for airlifting large military equipnt, capable of airlifting 20 heavy TFV600 twin-gun tanks at once, yet Lin Xian saw at least three crashed Hercules transporters ahead, whose terrifying capacity could easily airlift his Infinity away.
"It must be sothing big."
Lin Xian exhaled a breath of cold air through his thermal mask and said, "If I’m not wrong, the distress signal you received earlier should have been sent from here."

The icy wind was bitter as the death field stretched for miles. Lin Xian and Ning Jing returned to the polar car, driving forward.
As their polar car moved forward, more and more Abnormal Body corpses appeared in the snow layer, so half-buried, others fully buried, being crushed under the polar car’s tracks, making a crackling sound as bodies fractured.
Ning Jing’s face was grim as she watched the grueso scene. Despite holding onto so hope on their arrival, seeing the situation here made her heart sink.
"It seems that Lao Shi and the others are probably in grave danger."

Lin Xian drove the polar car forward with a fierce expression, unexpectedly soon spotting the fourth Hercules transporter!
He took a deep breath and said to KIKI.
"Four transporters, and they used the joint cables. It seems they were either dispatching heavy weapons for a large military group or it’s the super large cha ntioned over the radio!"
Hearing this, KIKI inhaled sharply, she too had speculated in this direction seeing the layout earlier, but the reality seed much more exaggerated than she had anticipated.
"A cha weighing several thousand tons? Does the Phoenix Society have such capabilities now?"
KIKI, being very familiar with military chanical technology, knew quite a bit about many military secrets weaponry. Hearing Lin Xian’s words left her feeling uncertain.
"If it has such a massive size and weight, it would require a super high-power energy and propulsion system, high-sensitivity drive system, all combined with a highly complex neural main control actuator. Even with integrated processing by intelligent brain programs, its size would be limited by the material’s load limit..."
KIKI sat cross-legged in the co-driver’s seat, quickly calculating on her mobile terminal.
"Even if all those aren’t issues, there’s still a critical one: to realize high-level synchronized driving, one pilot isn’t enough. Otherwise, such a level of weaponry, if it only reaches a 1st or 2nd level synchronization coefficient, becos just a cumberso humanoid weapon depot, not even matching the combat value of airships and fighters. I don’t know what solution the Phoenix Society offers, but it seems less reliable than the Iron Bee Swarm."
Finishing up, she looked at Lin Xian, her eyes gleaming: "However, you might be the exception, if there really is such a cha, maybe you are the best solution."
"We are amidst heaps of monster corpses; we don’t even know if there are any other living beings around. Worrying about these is a bit excessive now," Lin Xian said in a deep voice.
A several-ter signal antenna rose from the polar car, Lin Xian deliberately increased the transmission power, searching for usable signals in the snowfield, while also connecting to a path marker along the way.
As they drove forward, Lin Xian found that more and more Abnormal Body corpses were being uncovered, many previously buried under snow, but the further they went, the corpses began appearing more extensively on the surface of the snow layer.
"These monsters seem to be running in one direction."
Ning Jing also noticed this phenonon and said over the communicator: "Captain Lin, be careful, Ah Bai says the monster aura ahead is getting increasingly stronger."
Hearing Ning Jing’s judgnt, Lin Xian frowned and exchanged a look with KIKI; they both felt surprised at Ah Bai being able to sense the aura of Abnormal Bodies, but nonetheless, they both beca more vigilant.
"These monsters are buried increasingly shallow, not due to the snow layer but rather..." KIKI raised her hand, a surge of telekinesis wave swept, and a snow layer was suddenly lifted, revealing a pile of snow demon corpses flipped over like turning potatoes.
"It’s presumably ti of death; the further forward we go, the more recent the deaths, thus buried shallower," Lin Xian said over the communicator, "There should be people resisting ahead."

Lin Xian’s voice had barely fallen when the howling wind eerily weakened, and at that mont, a green light flashed a few tis on the communicator conducting a full-spectrum search.
"Huh, there’s a signal!"
KIKI imdiately perked up, began narrowing the fan of signal search range, and sure enough, after a short while, the green light flashed even longer, and a raspy wind noise began echoing within the communicator.
