The temperature inside the underground track was noticeably higher and relatively safer compared to the outside platform. The spacious platform was lined with several camp tents, and so survivors preparing lunch cast their gazes towards Lin Xian and his group as they descended.
"I prefer staying in a safe environnt, so I stopped underground. The wind here is lighter, and we won’t get buried in snow. What do you think, not bad, right?"

Monica, smiling, walked to the automatic door, and as the recognition system scanned above, the door opened directly.
Two n appeared just behind the door, looking to be in their thirties, holding wrenches and screwdrivers, covered in all sorts of black oil stains, clearly busy with so repairs.

"Song Hao, Zhu Pang, is the transmission system fixed?" Monica frowned upon seeing them and imdiately asked.
"Can’t fix it, huh." One slightly plump man replied with a troubled expression, "The subsystems below are too complicated. We can’t disassemble everything and end up having to put it back together again, afraid of causing problems."
The man nad Song Hao looked at Monica with displeasure and said in a deep voice, "I think we should leave it to professionals. Otherwise, starting it up will be an issue."
At this, an instant flash of anger crossed Monica’s eyes. She crossed her arms and lowered her voice, "Song Hao, you said before that you were a senior chanical technician from Chuangke, so I brought you on board. You’ve been in charge of maintenance these past few months, and now you’re telling we need a professional?"
Song Hao looked troubled and said, "Sister Mo, I’ve told you many tis before that this train had many design issues originally. Combined with maintenance, it led to many parts needing frequent replacent, and these aren’t things that can be easily fixed."
"So are we all just going to wait here and die?!" Monica retorted angrily.
"It’s not that exaggerated. We haven’t reached a point where it can’t start," Song Hao explained. "But it would be best if we prepared a backup plan in advance, such as an electric locomotive. Our energy carriage currently doesn’t have major issues, so if the traction and transmission system fails, we can replace it imdiately. That way, we won’t worry about breaking down on the road."

Lin Xian walked over with a frown. The electric locomotive they ntioned sounded so familiar. Could it be the one he had casually repaired and then drove away last night?
