Under the silent night sky, dried-out tumbleweeds rolled across the Gobi Desert with the wind.
Having moved away from the Extre Cold Vortex, the temperature had risen above 0 degrees, but the temperature difference on the Gobi Desert at night was imnse, and the sand-laden winds were rather chilly.
The large track bases laid on the desert were elevated by hard stone, and there were no protective railings in this desolate, uninhabited area.
Clang, clang, clang, a crisp rail-shaking sound gradually broke the silence, surrounding yellow sand trembled, and with a flash of dazzling train lights, a black-green heavy armored locomotive roared forth with ferocity. Behind it stretched a steel dragon winding to the earth’s end.
More than 500 train cars had all their lights on, silhouettes moved within; so sat, so stood, so walked, so conversed. Each was a survivor of the apocalypse, fugitives of civilization.
The outside of these train cars was covered in thick armor, riddled with bullet holes, claw marks, dried bloodstains, and rotting monster remains. The steel wheels and shock absorbers shook violently as the train charged along.
In the year 2069, September 3rd, Apocalypse Day, D-97
Led by Dragon Mountain No.1 and Infinity, the Joint Train escaped from Extre Night at Xilan City and Star Abyss No.5, with 100 days until Apocalypse Day, and only 3 days remaining.
In less than a hundred days, Blue Star’s population of over tens of billions had been wiped out by 99%. The 13 annihilating Star Abysses continued to expand; darkness turned humans into zombie humans, storms, and black rain, among other natural disasters, ravaged the land, decimating animals and plants. Human cities were occupied by zombies and Abnormal Bodies; Nine Continents and Four Oceans lay desolate. Survivors, after months of fleeing, looked out to the desert from the train cars, so bewildered, so fearful, so worried, while others remained optimistic, continuously encouraging their teammates.
Sun trailed behind the joker convoy and Queen Mo. This makeshift train convoy, like Qian Deli, wasn’t yet accustod to the trains, but vehicle adaptability wasn’t deed a challenge for this team that fought their way out of the blizzards.
In the forefront car, led by Luo Yang, with Ah Min, Luo Luo, Li Guangwen, and Xiao Bai among other forr mbers of the Chasing Sun convoy, gathered in a car that was once a passenger car. All seats have been removed and replaced with makeshift upper and lower bunks.
The thirty-so n and won were chatting while eating, exchanging words; these young people were knowledgeable and lively but also had gaps, like in cooking.
Everyone simply held canned food and so biscuits, chocolates, candies, and other things, discussing a singular topic with enjoynt.
Joining Infinity.
"Oh my God, I didn’t expect us to actually be joining Captain Lin’s convoy, that’s aweso," exclaid a girl sitting cross-legged on the upper bunk, holding a spoon and can.
"Captain Lin is really amazing, he actually has a chanical superpower." A talkative guy stood by the window, animatedly describing, "Did you see? Infinity’s armor is insanely strong, like a cha, and there’s actually a G-3 Electromagnetic Railgun on the train, that’s a Federation Military model, and Captain Lin made it with just a finger!"
"Yeah, yeah, I heard that when we were fighting bugs, all those Gatling Guns Infinity gave us were made by Captain Lin!"
"Incredible!"
"This superpower, I will deem it as the world’s number one superpower!"
"Hey, do you think Captain Lin can handcraft a nuclear bomb?"

Everyone burst into laughter.
Luo Yang sat aside eating his canned food, also smiling along, his eyes filled with anticipation and excitent. He and this group of classmates had been enthusiasts of tinkering with weapons, and among them, majoring in chanics, electrics, lasers, or power engineering, their admiration for Lin Xian continued to grow, especially after witnessing the towering No.1 Machine battle the S-Class giant sea urchin in Xilan City.
