After devouring four carriages, Lin Xian’s chanical Devouring Proficiency finally reached 2000 and completed an upgrade. In an instant, he felt his devouring progress had made another leap. Previously, it took about 20 minutes to devour an empty carriage, but now it only took 13 minutes, significantly improving efficiency!

Upon hearing this, Lin Xian imdiately stopped what he was doing and ran towards Carriage 21. Here, the weapon station contained only one Type 1130 and otherwise was vacant, filled with so miscellaneous items and equipnt. The [Grace], sealed in a tal cabinet by Lin Xian, was also here.
At this mont, KIKI had already opened the tal cabinet and was sitting on the ground with a laptop. Several Infinity’s data cables were connected to Grace at the back of her head.
"I have it all set up, just waiting for you."
"Where’s Luo Yang?"
"He took people to set up isolation nets and monitoring sensors along the line."
"Alright." Lin Xian nodded, "Go ahead and operate; I’ve already controlled her chanical units."
To ensure nothing went wrong, Lin Xian didn’t trust this Deep Red Brain that hadn’t been overwritten. Luckily, his chanical Superpower, though unable to tackle her Quantum Processor yet, could at least control her movent units, preventing the robot from exhibiting aggressive behavior.

KIKI quickly operated on the computer: "Alright, the overwrite has comnced. It will take about 20 minutes. I’ve completely erased her system logic protocol and added just one. Only one."
"What protocol?" Lin Xian asked.
KIKI glanced back at him seriously: "Basic Protocol: Full obedience to all of Lin Xian’s commands."
"Do you want to add anything else?"
Lin Xian smiled at the words: "That’s enough. For now, I can’t think of anything else."
"Alright."

At this point, under KIKI’s operation, the complete overwrite of [Grace] began officially. Grace’s secondary energy source started up, the Quantum Core Processor began operating, and the superconducting quantum bit array at the back of her neck lit up with dense red diagnostic lights the instant the system overwrite command arrived, dispersing and reconstructing all three million bionic neuron synapse weights inside her humanoid shell. An extrely potent computation state began to manifest.
Lin Xian watched this scene with a slightly solemn expression. He knew that an Intelligent Brain of [Grace]’s level was certainly not an ordinary robot. Even for the Phoenix Society and Xinghua Heavy Industry, according to KIKI, there were fewer than 10 Intelligent Brains with this level of computing power, primarily used for constructing large space stations, flying devices, or super-large bases.
Lin Xian speculated that within the Phoenix Society, there must be Intelligent Brains of a higher level than [Grace] used as central decision units for global strategic coordination. Yet in the Deep Red World, such a Descent Faction organization used it as offline managent for an underground base. Coupled with Chu Yan’s team’s consciousness investigation of Julius Litt at the Zero Elent Center, Lin Xian determined that the importance of the Zero Elent Center was far greater than he had previously imagined.
"Lin Xian!"
Just as Lin Xian and KIKI were waiting for the system overwrite of [Grace] to complete, suddenly, [Grace]’s facial hologram began to flicker, and the visage of ’Chu Yan’ reappeared. This sudden scene changed the expressions of Lin Xian and KIKI.
"What’s going on?" Lin Xian shouted.
"It’s a hidden program, it interrupted the overwrite of the underlying operating system!" KIKI exclaid in surprise: "I’ll imdiately erase it."
At that mont, [Grace] with ’Chu Yan’s face slowly opened her eyes, looked at Lin Xian standing in front of her, and with a continually flickering hologram, spoke through a broken audio system.
"Lin Xian, in... in transcending dinsions... no... do not understand with the dinsion of oneself, the power of the Dark World must have a phase effect, maybe... can communicate through the sa material..."
"Who are you!?" Lin Xian imdiately questioned loudly.
Crackle, the hologram flickered and disappeared; the ssage was over, and at this ti, Grace’s operating system had been completely overwritten.
KIKI looked on in surprise at the scene and spoke: "She was just... talking to you?"
Lin Xian imdiately looked at KIKI: "KIKI, can you find the program docunt of that ssage just now?"
KIKI shook her head, frowning: "No, it’s all been overwritten. That background system seems to have been intentionally arranged, taking over the system upon detecting its deletion, but..."
"Almost like it knew in advance that we were going to do this?" Lin Xian’s face darkened, and as he watched Grace, whose system was now initiating, his heart stirred with unease.
