"It’s dawn, it’s dawn!!"

"It’s dawn!"

The millions of survivors who lived through the nightmare of the night are now filled with joy and the panic of having escaped disaster. Organized convoys have imdiately begun rescue and dical work, sorting out assets, and tallying the number of people. Many fragnted caravans, families like ghosts, sit alone at street corners weeping. So are sifting through the rubble searching for loved ones, while others run around looking for water sources. The dust from the collapsed buildings has almost turned everyone’s hair gray.

"It’s dawn, quickly pack your gear, leave Dawn City!"

"Head north, to the north!"

"Go east, to the east!!"

"Take all the usable resources!!"

"The Phoenix Society has arrived, we will leave with their troops!"

Crying, screaming, shouting, cheering; all kinds of noises constantly echoed through the streets of the districts.

Double Star Tower, Heavenly Calming Ship.

Xu Yan and a large number of Federation officials are gathered here, several transport ships have arrived. One belongs to the garrison commander, Lu Tianye, and the other two are from the North Arican United Front’s Xu Zhenyue and 83 Iron Guard Brigade leader Huo Jiang.

Thus, the Phoenix Society and the people of Dawn City have co together.

"The Vanguard Plan succeeded," Ye Lan looked at everyone, "This is sothing worth celebrating, at least two seeds of human civilization are leaving the Solar System, which can bring so comfort to us, who are in despair now."

After saying this, she looked at the scene of the city after the battle and sighed,

"Now, for those of us who remain, we must consider how to get through the next long night."

...

Lin Xian was rescued by the Phoenix Society back to the Star City Orbital Station, along with KIKI, Shi Zhi, and the remaining mbers with Qino.

On the platform of the orbital station, more than 60 body bags were laid out. Seeing this, Lin Xian sighed to Qino: "The Crescent Moon Operation failed, the only way to obtain information from the darkness is for us to personally kill an S-Class."

Even as he said this, Lin Xian knew that this was almost an impossible task.

The Phoenix Society understands, without obtaining relevant cells from the Cloud Black Thorn, that acquiring the so-called ’action brain’ of an S-Class is not easy. Moreover, they would need to cultivate it in the Star Abyss like in the Deep Red World, and it would require sacrificing hundreds of people for mycelial connection. Even if the Phoenix Society could do such a thing, they no longer have the ti.

"It’s probably impossible now. The Gray Mist’s launch breakthrough of the Heavenly Veil must have again triggered changes in the Star Abyss," Qino said, sitting in a wheelchair, lighting a cigarette with a lancholic expression, "The current unmanned detectors have observed not just one S-Class in Star Abyss No.7, but three. Nos. 5, 7, and 8 all show S-Classes approaching, and it doesn’t end there. The reconnaissance team has reportedly spotted chapelers moving from Star Abyss No.5."

Spitting to the side as he spoke, he continued solemnly, "Whether we’re connecting with the Star Abyss or breaking through the Heavenly Veil, we’ve thoroughly angered these monsters, so now the major approach of the Phoenix Society is evacuation."

At this mont, Jiang Yun walked over, "Many large convoys have already started retreating at first light, and the Phoenix Society is likely also planning to evacuate people shortly."

Lin Xian looked at him, "Where is Jian Xuwei?"

"She and Jian Zeyang went out to et the Sky Do Unlimited," Jiang Yun checked the ti, "The mobile signal station has received news; they should be entering the city soon."

Lin Xian nodded wearily, watching as the zipper of Chu Yan’s body bag was slowly closed, his gaze heavy.

The relationship between him and Chu Yan was sowhat intricate, like during an apocalypse where two utterly unrelated individuals suddenly beco intimately connected through shared consciousness. In the process, Chu Yan had helped him imnsely.

Lin Xian also knew that the Crescent Moon Operation was a plan Chu Yan had to complete, but at the last mont, faced with the choice between now and the future, she resolutely chose the present and, together with Lin Xian, took back the Heart of the Galaxy, saving the city from an unwarranted disaster.

He had not expected Chu Yan to die like this. In those final monts, Chu Yan told him that Julius would never reveal the information from the darkness, so she knew that if she launched a ntal attack on Julius, he would surely kill the true controller.

For the Deep Red World, it actually bore no loss, since both were clones used to manage the Giant God Peak Launch Site while conveniently eliminating Chu Yan, who posed a significant threat to them.

So, Chu Yan had anticipated her death; it was the only choice.

Shi Zhi ca over, quietly using her superpower behind Lin Xian to help him recover so spirit.

Feeling warmth, Lin Xian looked back at Shi Zhi and forced a weak smile,

"Shi Zhi, you’ve done well."

Dirt still smudged Shi Zhi’s face. She said to Lin Xian, "I think there’s still hope for us."

She pointed to the sky as she spoke, "We can also fly up there."

Lin Xian looked up at the sky. He had just learned of the successful survival of two starships in the Vanguard Plan. He rembered that when infiltrating the Star Port, the first one he saw was the Natural Selection. This news ca to Lin Xian as a bittersweet comfort. In terms of civilization, human civilization might once again blossom like a brilliant flower in the far reaches of space. From his own perspective, the remaining humans of Blue Star only have a few months of journey left.

It is uncertain whether, in these few months, humanity can use this experience to conduct more in-depth research on the Heavenly Veil. However, the anomaly with the Star Abyss likely indicates that the darkness has realized what humans are doing, potentially pushing their survival situation to an even more critical state.
