"Sir?" Glenn asked, looking at his inventory to see a strange device there.

[Don’t waste ti and use it on her. I won’t kill her, just knock her out for good.]

Glenn had unwavering faith in Aiden, much like the rest of the wolves. If he said sothing would work, then it would. Besides, with the landlord watching, he couldn’t possibly accept defeat, could he?

He rolled his shoulder once, tightened his grip on the shield, and charged straight at her like he had multiple tis before. As expected, the woman read it as another battering ram attempt and shifted her weight to dodge like before.

However, at the last possible second, Glenn dropped his ruined shield, leaving his right arm open. The woman had moved out of the shield’s way, but before she could adjust, Glenn’s hand shot out, pressing Aiden’s gift right on her exposed abs.

The woman looked down at it, then back at Glenn, who smirked and even waved at her. The next second, the electro bomb let out a loud whirl and unleashed the hundreds of volts of electricity on her.

The woman’s entire body locked up at once, every muscle seizing, her sword arm snapping rigid at her side. A short, clipped sound escaped her throat before even that was cut off.

Her sister watched her in shock as she dropped to the ground. Being the gentleman he was, Glenn crouched down to check her vitals. It was as Aiden had said, she was alive, just knocked out cold.

"Not bad, sir," he said. "Not bad at all. If only I had more of them—"

As soon as he said that, a notification appeared before him, informing him that a dozen eletrobombs had been deposited in his inventory and the caps had been charged for the cost.

[Deal with the other one as well and bring them back. I hope you can do it now?]

"Of course, sir," Glenn smirked, grabbing a ballistic shield from the shop. "I won’t fail you."

Aiden nodded as the duration of [Supervision] ended, and he looked at Lina.

"Magnificent work," he said, pointing at the electrobomb Lina was working on. "But you don’t need to make more of them. I have added them to the shop so anyone can buy it now as long as they et the criteria."

"Ah, I see. T-Thank you f-for your hard work, sir," Lina sighed, gently hitting her shoulder.

Although she didn’t complain about it, the tiredness on her face spoke volus. Aiden wouldn’t have cared about it, but he couldn’t just ignore her after the ti they shared, and also because he always appreciated those who worked diligently.

"I should be the one thanking you," Aiden said, resting his hands on her shoulder.

"S-Sir!?" Lina stamred, tensing up with Aiden’s touch.

"Shush, just relax," he said and began massaging her shoulders while standing behind her.

Lina’s body stiffened at first. She felt weird. She knew for sure that Aiden did not do such things for others. Then why was he doing this for her?

Even as she felt weirded out, she couldn’t deny that it felt good. So much so that as his strong fingers pressed into her tired muscles, a soft moan escaped her lips.

The sound surprised her. She quickly covered her mouth with both hands as her face turned red with embarrassnt.
