After naming his Soul Pet No. 4, Wen Yu then observed Faceless’s abilities.
Faceless:
Level: Early Stage Level 4.
This creature is an unknown product of Human Creations, ford by a fusion of various plants, fungi, microbes, and other biological matter. Catalyzed and transford by Demonic Qi, this unknown being ca to life!
Skill Number One: Human Creations (F-Class, Passive Skill): This creature is an artificial product. Although it exhibits signs of life, it doesn’t possess a Soul, having only very basic instincts. This life form can achieve Evolution by devouring the corpses of mutant creatures. However, it cannot obtain skills through Evolution. Skills must be obtained through special ans!
Skill Number Two: Manipulate (A-Class, Active Ability): The creature can split off white threads from its body that can enter other organisms. These white threads infiltrate the brains of other organisms to exert direct control. However, it cannot control organisms of a level equal to or higher than its own.
Skill Number Three: Perfect Duplication (SSS-Class, Active Ability): By absorbing the bodily tissues of other organisms, it can transform into their likeness. However, the duplicated organisms must not exceed its own level, and certain special organisms cannot be duplicated!
Upon reading Faceless’s description, Wen Yu imdiately frowned.
This thing, although categorized as a living organism, is actually a creation of mankind!
"Cyclops, who did you say that black-robed man belongs to again?"
"WOOF WOOF."
"The Demon Worship Sect!"
Upon hearing Cyclops’s response, Wen Yu nodded.
The title "Demon Worship Sect" says it all about the true nature of this organization. Moreover, from Faceless’s introduction, one could deduce the powerful forces backing the Demon Worship Sect! It’s a creature created by humans and even received recognition from the Dominator. I definitely wouldn’t believe it if one claid there were no special talents or asures within this sect.
He examined Faceless’s three skills again.
The Human Creations ability is nothing but a hindrance, providing restriction after restriction. It isn’t necessary at all for to use Soul Pet Augntation. The Manipulate ability isn’t bad, but it offers no benefit when it cos to my personal growth. Even if I augnted myself with this ability, it would be better to let Faceless use it directly. The Perfect Duplication ability, however, seems a bit more interesting.
After contemplating for a while, Wen Yu addressed Star.
"Shed so of your blood."
At that mont, Star, worried Wen Yu had discovered his recent minor actions, looked distracted. He only responded after a pause, finally understanding Wen Yu’s intention.
Star forcefully tore his scales, reluctantly squeezing out a little blood and dripping it onto Faceless, which Wen Yu held out.
The bright red blood entered Faceless’s body, like a drop of boiling water into hot oil. Faceless’s entire form began to tremble violently.
After a mont, once Faceless had consud all of Star’s blood, there were no changes to its appearance other than a slight increase in size.
Wen Yu frowned at this, contemplated for a mont, then spoke again.
"Try again, but more this ti!"
Star grimaced, grumbling quietly as he reluctantly tore open the Scale Armor on his arm. A large amount of blood flowed out and was completely absorbed by Faceless.
Faceless’s entire body looked as if it were about to explode! The crimson Dragon Blood coursed within it before being slowly assimilated and absorbed.
And then... nothing happened!
Wen Yu sighed heavily, his expression a little grim.
Faceless’s Perfect Duplication ability could only mimic common creatures. Star, as the most powerful force in Wen Yu’s arsenal, was anything but ordinary!
According to my calculations, divine beast species should be considered special creatures. This is to be expected. If Faceless’s Perfect Duplication could perfectly mimic the power of divine beast species, it would certainly be an Esoteric Level skill rather than its current SSS-Class.
Observing Faceless in his hand, Wen Yu mulled it over for a while before cutting his finger and letting a few drops of his blood drip onto Faceless’s body.
After Faceless consud Wen Yu’s blood, it imdiately underwent a different change than when it had consud Star’s blood.
Its body shape constantly changed. The absorbed blood slowly dissipated as various organs began to form within its transforming body.
The scene was rather grotesque. Thankfully, Faceless didn’t take long to reshape itself; in only about ten seconds, it had transford into a perfect copy of Wen Yu.
"Attack ."
Wen Yu gave a simple command, but Faceless didn’t move an inch.
Frowning slightly, Wen Yu realized Faceless lacked intelligence and couldn’t comprehend his instructions.
In that case, how about communicating with it through the power of the soul bond?
As Wen Yu’s thought was quickly conveyed to The Fourth Soul, the imitation Wen Yu finally moved!
The Faceless, now appearing as Wen Yu, threw a punch at the real Wen Yu. They then exchanged a few blows.
"Stop!"
With a ntal command from Wen Yu, Faceless imdiately halted. Wen Yu then summarized its performance.
Its physical abilities are identical to mine; it even replicated my fighting stance perfectly and inherited all the abilities of my Soul Beasts. It seems that other than divine beast species, Faceless can replicate any other life form. I wonder about the Demon Tribe?
Unfortunately, I don’t have any Demon Tribe body tissue at the mont; otherwise, I could test whether Faceless can duplicate the Demon Tribe’s power.
"Dissipate."
Following Wen Yu’s simple command, the imitation Wen Yu gradually began to lt. Within a very short ti, it reverted to its original dough-like shape.
He returned Faceless to the 4th Soul Realm, and Wen Yu nodded, satisfied.
Although it’s a pity it can’t replicate Star’s power, the ability to replicate Cyclops’s power and that of a professionist is enough! Cyclops’s combat power is unquestionably at the peak of this world. It will be quite challenging to find a soul pet that isn’t weaker than Cyclops! Not to ntion it can also duplicate the power of a professionist.
Just then, Wen Yu suddenly had a thought.
If I could get Faceless to replicate the power of Sequence Number 1, then no matter how strong they are, they definitely couldn’t defeat !
