Then, the napalm shells unleashed their devastating power, incinerating the Demon Monsters’ corpses with intense heat, but the overall effect wasn’t particularly significant. This was because, not long after the missiles impacted, a large number of Bipedal Lizards crawled out again, braving the widespread flas to feast on the corpses of their kin.
In total, this wave of attacks only managed to eliminate tens of thousands of Bipedal Lizards.
And so, the military’s third wave of attacks comnced. This ti, it was a saturation strike with ground-to-ground missiles. According to Kuangliu, the number of missiles launched in this wave constituted the military’s entire remaining stockpile at the outpost. An unending rain of missiles descended, seemingly intent on blasting the very soil of the bombarded area into dust.
Dozens of minutes of continuous missile bombardnt completely destroyed the Bipedal Lizards that weren’t hidden too deeply. Simultaneously, this forced those lurking deep underground to scramble to the surface and retreat towards Demon City, all while enduring the ongoing strikes.
The three continuous waves of missile bombardnt had successfully repelled the attacking Bipedal Lizards. Alas...
"This is such a damned waste... we might as well have just evacuated the treasure land..." That was Wen Yu’s exact comnt.
Kuangliu nodded in agreent. Unfortunately, missiles, as weapons of mass destruction, awarded no points for killing Demon Fiends. This ant the three rounds of missile strikes, aside from repelling the Demon Fiends, yielded no tangible benefits.
"By the way, didn’t you consider just dropping a couple of nuclear weapons to wipe Demon City off the map and be done with it?" Wen Yu’s tone was half-joking, half-serious.
Kuangliu simply shook his head without saying anything further. Perhaps, in the military’s eyes, the outpost’s value was still imnse, even with the ergence of the Bipedal Lizards—a species so powerful they seed to defy all logic.
Seeing Kuangliu’s silent response, Wen Yu just shrugged. For , the continued existence of this treasure land is purely advantageous.

As soon as they arrived at the outpost, Kuangliu jumped off Star’s back and headed directly towards the central castle.
Wen Yu, without a word, first surveyed the outpost’s environnt and then walked towards the Exchange Stone Pillar near the central castle. The outpost had changed significantly. It was now teeming with fully ard soldiers and military vehicles, and new recruits could occasionally be seen drilling and running exercises. It appeared the military was planning to use this place as a training ground.
Of course, this aligned with Wen Yu’s interests. However, after witnessing the Bipedal Lizards’ terrifying reproductive capabilities, Wen Yu harbored serious doubts about how long this treasure land could possibly last.
Let’s just hope it holds out for as long as possible! Wen Yu sighed softly, ignoring the astonished stares of the surrounding soldiers fixed on Star. Star flew Wen Yu directly to the vicinity of the Exchange Stone Pillar.
Wen Yu dismounted from Star’s back. Star slowly shrank its body and then settled atop Wen Yu’s head. He placed his hand on the Exchange Stone Pillar and murmured, "Query points."

Over ten million points! This was a huge sum, the fruit of his labor over the past few days.
He quickly assessed his current physique. After absorbing the magic crystals from eight Level 4 Demon Fiends, Wen Yu’s physique score had risen to 204 points. Of course, Cyclops and Star had sneakily swallowed many Level 4 magic crystals. Wen Yu didn’t mind; Level 4 magic crystals consud by Cyclops and Star would also enhance their strength.
He roughly estimated the points needed to elevate his physique to 500 points. A single attribute-free Level 4 magic crystal cost 20,000 points. To reach the Peak Level 4 physique of 500 points, he would need 592 such magic crystals.
