anwhile, Argus kept avoiding Wen Yu’s attacks from a distance, absolutely daring not to close in.
If the distance shortened any further, Argus wouldn’t be able to react to Wen Yu’s attacks in ti and would definitely get shot!

The demon spawn’s physical fitness doesn’t seem like that of a Level 5 creature. It must possess so skill to enhance its Soul Strength. On the other hand, my physical fitness has received a moderate boost here, probably because I’m a reborner or a Soul Master—the exact reason isn’t clear.

Palpitation’s activation effect, however, was remarkably potent. Although its damage was sowhat weaker, its attack speed was superior within the Soul Battlefield. Combined with its ability to enhance Soul Strike’s effect, Palpitation might actually be more powerful here.
But when it ca to offensive attacks, either you hit the target, or you didn’t. If the demon spawn is playing hide-and-seek with from a distance, I’m left with no effective recourse.
While the demon spawn darted about, Wen Yu quickly reviewed his available thods, until his gaze landed on the pendant at his chest—the Soul Shattering Mirror!
He had obtained this item from the battle between the two worlds but hadn’t used it yet.
The reason was simple: it only had three uses, and Wen Yu generally looked down on most ordinary skills. However, upon understanding the nature of this space, a peculiar thought arose in his mind—The skill this mirror can extract... it seems it would be a great fit for my abilities...
As Wen Yu’s level progressed and his skills multiplied, Soul Strike was increasingly becoming less effective. How could Soul Strike be comparable to Pitch-dark Divine Light for eliminating enemies?

It’s very likely that Tang Haofei would end up like a blank slate without any skills, while I would have Soul Strike and be Soul-Armored!
In such a scenario, the outco of the battle would be unpredictable!
Having thought this through, Wen Yu resolved to act on it!

Palpitation and Mad dley continued to fire Energy Bullets. Argus still dared not cross an unseen line, rely keeping his distance and incessantly dodging Wen Yu’s attacks.
However, even in this space, a Soul Body could still experience fatigue.

Watching the Soul Master flusteredly raise his gun, struggling to adjust his aim, a glimr of satisfaction flashed in Argus’s eyes.
