Two sea beasts, led by a warrior from the Sea King Tribe, effortlessly slaughtered hundreds of Low-grade demonic creatures below. Then, the Sea Demon—we’ll call mbers of the Sea King Tribe that for now, given their strong resemblance to Ancient Demons—turned its head, looking towards Tang Haofei and Walter.
"Human!!!"
Unfamiliar words ca from the Sea Demon’s mouth. However, they contained special Spiritual Fluctuations that allowed Tang Haofei to clearly understand the Sea Demon’s intended aning.
Tang Haofei remained silent for a mont before gently nodding. "Invited by the Sea King, I, Tang Haofei, Sequence Number 1 from the Human Race, have co with good intentions and the will of our race to join hands against the demon plague."
Silence followed. Tang Haofei was unsure whether the Level 5 Sea Demon in front of him could understand his words, so after he finished speaking, the scene beca incredibly awkward...
This continued until a burst of laughter broke the uncomfortable atmosphere.
"Human! The Sea King Tribe welcos your arrival!"
Broken, semi-fluent Mandarin emanated from the Sea Demon’s mouth. His strange intonation, combined with a hearty tone, made it difficult to feel any ill will toward him. Paired with the Sea Demon’s friendly (though quite savage-looking) grin, the atmosphere lightened considerably.
"Co, Sequence Number 1 of the Human Race, His Majesty the Sea King has been awaiting your arrival for so ti now."
Riding a gigantic Blue Scaled Dolphin, Tang Haofei swam deep in the ocean. The power of the Water-Repelling Pearl allowed him to breathe without issue as he admired the underwater scenery.
Unfortunately, after the outbreak of the demon plague, there wasn’t much scenic beauty left...
Bodies were everywhere, battlefields were strewn about, and bloodshed was all around.
Red, black, and various other colored fluids spread out, adding a chilling, bloody tint to the once-azure sea.
The Blue Scaled Dolphin moved swiftly, but its power was lacking, peaking only at Peak Level 4. The sea beast beside it, however, was much stronger. Whenever they encountered any Demon Fiends, it would eagerly rush forward to slaughter them. This was partly to increase its own power and partly to help its marine ’kindred’.
The overall atmosphere among the marine organisms seed quite good.
Although the Blue Scaled Dolphin’s swimming speed wasn’t slow, it maintained a moderate pace, likely to help Tang Haofei and Walter maintain their balance while moving at high speed underwater.
Along the way, the state of the oceanic war beca clear to Tang Haofei.
The marine organisms, being the most powerful group of creatures on Earth...
Their strength was truly formidable. At least, up to this point, Tang Haofei hadn’t seen the marine creatures in any disadvantageous position whatsoever!
This was terrifying. It ant the Sea Clan had already annihilated the large-scale congregations of Demon Fiends. The entire ocean—or, more specifically, this part of the East Sea—was now left with the tasks of mopping up and guarding the Demon Realm’s Gate.
And from the ti the demon plague descended until now, only half a month had passed.
Walter also recognized what the current situation implied about the power balance, his face slightly pale as he kept his head down.
The Sea Demon leading the way, however, was very talkative. His words held no hint of boasting, just constant small talk with Tang Haofei. According to Lagus—the Sea Demon—this was his way of learning Mandarin from Tang Haofei. Of course, he also intended to fish for information.
The relationships between races, between countries, and even between people were not as simple as being either friends or enemies.
This, Tang Haofei understood.
And Lagus understood it too...
After riding the Blue Scaled Dolphin for over three hours, the capital city of the Deep Blue Empire—currently the only city—was visible in the distance.

Gazing at the various sea beasts bustling below and, further off, at crude structures of rock and shell radiating a beautiful luster, Lagus proudly proclaid, "Sequence Number 1 and Sequence Number 3 of the Human Race, welco to the Sea Clan’s only city, the very center of our entire clan—Deep Blue!"
Tang Haofei paused. Deep Blue... A na that could represent Earth’s power in his previous life... Finally, he was about to see it...
As the Blue Scaled Dolphin slowed, Tang Haofei could see more and more.
The closer they got to Deep Blue, the more nurous and higher-quality the surrounding sea beasts beca. Occasionally, ferocious-looking sharks road nearby, their ruthless gazes making Tang Haofei frown.
Even with extre confidence in his own abilities, Tang Haofei couldn’t get used to the way they looked at him, as if he were an animal.
Perhaps to the Sea Clan, he truly was just an animal...
Perhaps sensing Tang Haofei’s unease, Lagus’s gaze sharpened. A strange Spiritual Fluctuation rapidly swept the surroundings. Every sea beast that ca into contact with it scattered imdiately, as if encountering a natural predator.
This was the Sea King Tribe’s species innate talent.
They possessed a natural, powerful suppressive aura over other sea beasts, and this was the foundation and capital allowing the Deep Blue Empire to maintain its system of slavery!
After clearing away the small fry in their surroundings, Lagus, despite his fierce face, smiled.
"Let’s go. I hope this hasn’t dampened your spirits, honored guests."
Tang Haofei remained silent for a mont, then nodded slightly and tentatively asked, "Could you tell a bit about your Sea Clan?"
"No problem," Lagus replied with a grin.
"Our leader, His Majesty the Sea King, first awakened in the East Sea."
"Our Sea God Family originally had few mbers. In human terms, we would be considered an endangered species. Moreover, due to our small size, we used to live beneath the ocean sands, which is why humans never detected us."
Lagus—this Sea Demon from the Sea God Family—didn’t reveal their true form. Tang Haofei suspected this was classified species information and wisely chose not to probe further.
"However, everything changed after His Majesty the Sea King awakened. Our once-sparse population experienced a significant increase in individual intelligence and power. Within just over half a year, five divine beasts awakened in succession. Our Sea God Family is naturally able to enslave other sea beasts, and that was the genesis of the Deep Blue Empire."
With a few simple sentences, Lagus outlined the Deep Blue Empire’s origin story and basic information, then said no more.
He understood what Tang Haofei wanted to ask, but he had already shared all he could. Anything more was not for Tang Haofei to know.
"Thank you," Tang Haofei said politely. Although Lagus hadn’t said much, the information he imparted was not insignificant.
