Now reading: Chapter 255: Meridia Base’s Invitation from Apocalypse Rebirth: Crazy from Day One, a Sci-fi novel by A Fu.

’Of course, she knew why Magnus Sterling had co to see her at a ti like this.’

’Many people had probably learned her na recently.’

’Magnus Sterling must have found out too, and he was likely trying to guess her identity.’

’She didn’t want to get too entangled with the Sterling Family.’

’Her grudge was with the Sterling parents and Yara Sterling; the others had nothing to do with her.’

’She had never even interacted with Magnus Sterling and his family before, let alone had any conflict with them.’

’And she didn’t want any future involvent with them either.’

’In the future, as long as Magnus Sterling didn’t cause trouble within the base, she would treat him like any other mber and wouldn’t target him because of his family na.’

’Of course, that also ant he wouldn’t receive any special treatnt.’

Now that she’d had Shane Lawrence reply to him in such a way, he should understand her intentions.

Not long after Stella Sterling sent Shane Lawrence away, Stephen Lawrence arrived.

"Boss, a while back, you asked to schedule a eting with the people from Crescentia Base to discuss a partnership. But with all the recent disasters, everyone’s been busy with rescue operations, so we never managed to set a date."

"They sent soone over specifically to apologize and said that once the situation stabilizes, our two sides can schedule a ti to talk."

Stella Sterling hadn’t given the matter much thought. She had only been a little curious about what the other party was planning.

She had forgotten all about it afterward. ’If Stephen Lawrence hadn’t brought it up now, I wouldn’t have even rembered it happened.’

She was, however, familiar with the na Crescentia Base; she had been hearing it a lot lately.

But she didn’t know much about them and had never heard of them in her past life.

In this life, however, they seed to be developing quite well and were very strong.

She nodded. "Coincidentally, our base is also very busy right now. There’s no rush for sothing like this."

Stephen Lawrence nodded and had soone send the reply, but he didn’t seem to be in a hurry to leave.

He continued, "Boss, besides that, ridia Base sent an invitation to us at Caeluna Base. They’re inviting us to The Apocalypse Summit they’re hosting."

"The Apocalypse Summit?"

Stella Sterling looked up. She knew of ridia Base, having spent so ti there before. ’But what is The Apocalypse Summit?’

’I’ve never heard of it before!’

There was a hint of confusion in Stephen Lawrence’s eyes as well, but he went on, "Yes. Apparently, ridia Base has invited many factions this ti. They’ve invited all the factions around here, big and small, as well as so stronger bases and organizations from farther away."

"When is it?"

"Three days from now."

"We’ll accept the invitation."

Stella Sterling nodded. ’It looks like this Apocalypse Summit will gather quite a few people. I’ll go check it out. Sothing interesting might happen.’

’With so many bases and factions invited, it’s bound to be lively.’

’Besides, I have so acquaintances in ridia Base. Maybe I can take this opportunity to see them.’

Stephen Lawrence handed the invitation to Stella Sterling.

Though it was called an invitation, it was a simple affair—just a folded piece of paper with the invitee’s na, the ti, and the address written inside. At the bottom, however, it bore the official seal of ridia Base.

The gathering would be held at ridia Base.

She put the invitation away and instructed Stephen Lawrence, "The summit will last a few days. I’ll take Seven Locke, Julian Fletcher, and Nathan Cheney with . You can pick a few more people to accompany us."

"I’ll leave the base to the rest of you to manage. A lot has been happening recently, so keep a close eye on things and don’t let any problems arise."

"Yes, ma’am."

Stephen Lawrence nodded solemnly.

Just as Stephen Lawrence was about to leave, Stella Sterling called him back.

"Earlier, I gave you that stuff to dilute with water for everyone to drink. What were their reactions?"

So ti ago, Stella Sterling had given Stephen Lawrence so Strong dicine, telling him to dilute it in water for everyone to drink.

When diluted and consud, it could greatly increase a person’s strength without any side effects.

’In the apocalypse, the stronger, the better. Faced with the complexities of human nature and the constant threat of danger, every bit of strength increased one’s chances of survival.’

’These were mbers she had cultivated herself, and she hoped they could accompany her much further on this journey.’

She had already told Stephen Lawrence about the dicine’s effects.

Stephen Lawrence had taken a Loyal Servant Pill, so he knew exactly how potent the dicine his Master provided was.

He said, "Everyone is very happy. Each person’s strength has increased a lot. However, probably due to differences in individual constitutions, the amount of strength gained from the Strong dicine varies from person to person."

"I also had our dical team perform thorough check-ups on everyone who drank the dicine. So far, no side effects have been found."

Previously, when everyone’s strength inexplicably increased—and it wasn’t just one person, but every mber of the base—they naturally noticed sothing was amiss.

Stephen Lawrence didn’t hide the reason from them, explaining that they had drunk water diluted with Strong dicine.

He didn’t go into detail, only saying that their Master was an eccentric genius with brilliant dical skills and that she had invented this dicine to help everyone strengthen their bodies.

Upon hearing this, the mbers were both happy and worried, afraid that such a dicine might have side effects. So were even resentful.

They felt as though the base was treating them like guinea pigs for an experint.

In response, Stephen Lawrence didn’t offer any explanations. Instead, he imdiately arranged for the dical team to examine each of them in public.

The results proved that the dicine had no side effects, other than increasing a person’s strength.

Only then did everyone finally relax and grow excited. Who wouldn’t want to possess greater power?

After their excitent, everyone’s respect for Caeluna Base and for Sterling deepened. At the sa ti, a profound sense of awe took root in their hearts.

It even felt as if their leader was omnipotent.

If Sterling could develop sothing like that, it just went to show how incredible she was.

For Caeluna Base to have such a Master was their good fortune.

Listening to Stephen Lawrence’s happy report, the corners of Stella Sterling’s mouth lifted into a slight smile.

’She hadn’t originally planned on giving that stuff to them.’

’But the disasters to co would only grow more severe. If humanity didn’t beco stronger, survival in this world would beco increasingly difficult.’

She said, "Pay close attention to everyone’s reactions. I won’t force this on anyone. If soone is unwilling, they can stop taking it."
