Clayne stood motionless near the broken bathroom window for several long monts.

His expression remained frozen.

Because no matter how many tis he looked outside, the scene before him still felt unbelievably strange.

There were no undead.

Not one.

No wandering corpses dragging their broken legs throughout the campus.

No growls echoing through the hallways.

No scratching sounds coming from classrooms.

No endless pounding against doors and windows.

Nothing.

The silence surrounding the school felt so unnatural that even Clayne himself slowly beca uncomfortable.

Especially after everything that happened before.

Just earlier, this entire place had still been overflowing with undead.

The whole school beca a death trap.

Every hallway.

Every classroom.

Every staircase.

Every corner.

Undead filled everything.

Yet now...

Everything had beco completely silent.

Too silent.

Slowly, Clayne narrowed his eyes afterward while his vigilance rose instinctively.

"What the hell happened here...?"

Imdiately afterward, Clayne left the destroyed bathroom cautiously.

Every movent he made beca careful again.

Even after growing stronger, he still refused becoming careless.

Because right now, the situation itself already felt dangerous.

Not because undead were everywhere.

But because they were gone.

And that felt even stranger.

anwhile, Clayne unconsciously circulated the Silent Sword Sect breathing technique quietly while descending the stairs carefully.

His footsteps barely made any noise.

His senses continuously spread throughout the surroundings cautiously.

Then soon...

He reached the floor below.

And imdiately afterward...

His expression changed.

Because the room beneath the bathroom had beco completely empty.

No survivors.

No screaming students.

No tailed humans.

No sounds.

Nothing remained except corpses.

Undead corpses.

But what imdiately caught Clayne’s attention was not rely the number of bodies.

It was how they looked.

Every single undead inside the room had already died completely.

Not only that...

Their corpses had been dragged neatly toward the corners of the room.

The sight instantly made Clayne frown deeply afterward.

Because this did not look random.

Soone cleaned this place intentionally.

Slowly, Clayne stepped deeper inside afterward.

His eyes carefully swept across the surroundings continuously.

Broken desks remained overturned everywhere.

Walls had huge cracks and blood stains covering them.

Chairs remained shattered across the floor.

anwhile, the sll of blood and rotten flesh still lingered heavily throughout the room.

Yet despite the horrifying atmosphere...

The corpses themselves looked strangely organized.

Almost as though soone deliberately cleaned after massacring everything.

Then suddenly...

Clayne crouched beside one undead corpse.

Imdiately afterward, his pupils contracted slightly.

Because the undead’s entire head was gone.

Not bitten.

Not smashed normally.

No.

It looked violently ripped apart.

As though sothing terrifying tore the head off forcefully.

Slowly, Clayne looked toward another corpse nearby.

Sa thing.

The head had disappeared too.

Then another.

And another.

And another.

Every single undead corpse inside the room lacked a head completely.

anwhile, several corpses looked even worse.

So had massive claw marks tearing through their bodies.

Others looked as though giant beasts ripped them apart violently.

Several bodies had huge holes blasted through their chests.

One corpse even looked twisted unnaturally like sothing crushed it alive before tearing the head off afterward.

The more Clayne observed...

The more alert he beca.

Because whoever did this...

Was definitely terrifying.

Then slowly...

Clayne continued descending throughout the building afterward.

Every floor he entered beca equally silent.

Every hallway remained empty.

Every classroom looked cleaned out.

And throughout every single room...

Only dead undead remained.

Not one moved anymore.

Not one twitched.

anwhile, Clayne continuously checked every classroom carefully afterward.

He opened doors one by one.

He inspected beneath desks.

Inside cabinets.

Behind broken furniture.

Even inside comfort rooms.

Yet everywhere...

The sa horrifying scene repeated continuously.

Dead undead corpses filled the surroundings.

Their heads had all disappeared completely.

So bodies remained torn apart so violently that flesh and organs still stuck against nearby walls.

Others looked crushed by terrifying force.

anwhile, despite the overwhelming amount of corpses...

Everything still strangely looked organized.

The bodies had all been dragged toward sides or corners.

As though soone intentionally cleared pathways after slaughtering everything.

The more Clayne descended...

The heavier the atmosphere beca.

Especially after reaching the third floor.

Because the number of corpses there beca ridiculous.

Entire hallways had beco buried beneath piles of dead undead.

Several classroom doors had huge holes torn through them.

So walls looked collapsed partially.

anwhile, blood stains completely covered large portions of the floor already.

And among all these corpses...

Not one undead remained alive.

Not one.

Clayne slowly continued walking throughout the floor afterward while remaining extrely vigilant.

Because the silence itself felt terrifying now.

Especially because whoever massacred this many undead clearly possessed monstrous strength.

Then slowly...

Clayne reached the second floor afterward.

And imdiately...

Even he beca shocked.

Because the destruction there had beco far worse.

The entire floor looked like a battlefield after a massacre.

Walls had collapsed.

Ceilings contained massive cracks.

Several rooms looked completely destroyed.

anwhile, the undead corpses covering the floor had beco so nurous that walking without stepping on bodies beca difficult.

So corpses remained stacked together near walls.

Others looked shredded apart completely.

Several undead had their upper bodies missing entirely.

anwhile, countless dried blood trails stretched throughout the floor endlessly.

The horrifying sll lingering throughout the area would have made ordinary people vomit instantly.

Rotting flesh.

Spoiled blood.

Destroyed organs.

Everything mixed together heavily throughout the air.

Yet despite all that...

Clayne continued forward carefully.

His expression gradually beca increasingly serious.

Because the deeper he looked...

The more impossible the situation beca.

Soon afterward...

Clayne finally reached the lowest floor.

And imdiately afterward...

Even his breathing paused briefly.

Because the first floor had beco flooded entirely with corpses.

Hundreds.

Perhaps even thousands.

The entire entrance area looked buried beneath mountains of dead undead.

Several bodies remained crushed against walls.

Others remained piled together near staircases.

anwhile, blood completely covered the floor dark red.

So areas had already turned black from drying too long.

And among all these corpses...

Not one undead remained moving.

Not one.

Clayne slowly walked deeper afterward while maintaining full vigilance continuously.

Every step he took produced quiet crunching sounds from dried blood and shattered bones beneath his shoes.

anwhile, his senses remained fully alert toward the surroundings.

Because despite the silence...

The scene itself felt horrifying.

Especially because whoever did this clearly did not rely kill the undead.

No.

The corpses looked destroyed brutally.

Violently.

As though sothing monstrous rampaged throughout the entire building nonstop.

Suddenly...

Clayne reached the entrance afterward.

Then slowly...

He stepped outside.

And imdiately afterward...

His entire body froze.

Because outside...

The entire campus had also beco completely silent.

No wandering undead.

No hordes.

No crawling corpses.

Nothing.

The roads throughout the school grounds had beco filled only with dead bodies instead.

So remained split apart violently.

Others lacked limbs.

anwhile, nearly every corpse had missing heads.

Even the school gates themselves had beco stained heavily with blood.

And farther away...

Clayne slowly lifted his head toward the city.

Then imdiately afterward...

His pupils contracted completely.

Because even the nearby streets outside looked strangely empty.

Not peaceful.

No.

The city still looked terrifying.

Destroyed vehicles remained abandoned everywhere.

Smoke still rose from several distant areas.

Broken windows covered nearby buildings.

Blood stains stretched throughout roads endlessly.

Corpses remained scattered throughout intersections.

Yet the undead themselves...

Were mostly gone.

Or perhaps...

Completely gone.

Slowly...

Clayne stared blankly toward the ruined city afterward.

Then finally...

He muttered dumbfoundedly.

"Don’t tell ..."

"The undead are all killed...?"

Imdiately afterward, another thought surfaced inside his mind suddenly.

His phone.

Quickly, Clayne reached toward his pocket afterward.

Fortunately, it was still there.

But the mont he turned it on...

His expression completely changed.

Because the date displayed on the screen instantly made his scalp numb.

Two days.

He had been unconscious for two entire days.

Imdiately afterward...

Horror slowly filled Clayne’s eyes completely.
