The matte paper used as a wrapper had a mixture of white and black patterns with gold specks added near the corners. This made that package look sophisticated even if it lacked the luxury sense.

Chu Hao turned it around a few tis to examine it but couldn’t guess what was inside.

Looking at the walls, Ye Xuan didn’t expect a young girl like Chu Miao to like such bold colors for the paint of her bedroom.

Instead of the expected pink or peach colors loved by girls her age, the walls were painted a dark blue on two opposite walls and grey on the other two sides.

It was a very weird color combination, especially for a girl.

There was a white leather couch at the center of the room that Chu Miao liked to use for cultivation sotis.

She invited Ye Xuan to sit on the sofa while she reached for the jug and glass on the table to pour water for him.
