Nevertheless, he didn’t say anything. But when he ntioned feeling hot and cold and his consciousness blurring, he saw the change in their expressions.

Even though it was subtle, he still noticed but said nothing.

It was at that ti that several more people approached the bed and he recognized one as his beloved daughter, another was the Major General he was thinking about, another one was a close confidant of his, and the last one was a young girl the sa age as his daughter but he could see that she was soone with substance.

As they got close, the soldiers saluted Ye Xuan and called the young girl ’leader’. President Yu raised an eyebrow even though he was feeling terrible. He still found the situation amusing.

Yu Wane’r ran over to her father when she found out that he had woken up.

"Daddy, you are awake. Thank God, otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do." The girl who had been acting tough finally broke down in tears.

Her mother had died early and her father had raised her alone. They had a close relationship and we’re very protective of each other.

"Don’t cry little pumpkin, aren’t I fine? Don’t worry, your old man isn’t leaving yet." The president said with so humor to comfort his daughter.

He didn’t want his daughter to worry, so he didn’t say how he was feeling anymore.

"Mr. President." Ye Xuan took a step forward and saluted the president lying on the bed.

"Major General, long ti no see." The president replied.

"Daddy, let sister Chu treat you first. We can talk later when you are better." Yu Wane’r said before turning to Chu Miao and nodding her head.

"Alright, everyone step back a little, I need so space." Chu Miao said and Ye Xuan’s brothers stepped several steps back imdiately.

Commander Shen, who knew what she was going to do, also stepped back together with Ye Xuan and Yu Wane’r.

The others had no choice but to move backwards as well and leave the space around the bed empty.

With enough space, Chu Miao waved her hand and the sight and sound was blocked from the people in the room.

The president raised an eyebrow again and a weak smile appeared in his eyes.

"I heard you are General Chu’s granddaughter?" The president asked lightly.

"Yes, my na is Chu Miao." Chu Miao replied softly while observing the man on the bed.

He was quite frail, not like the president she had seen on TV before.

"What is wrong with ? I noticed the reaction of the soldiers before wasn’t right and considering how they revere you, and the fact that you are treating , you must know, right?" The president probed.

"Mmm...you have a zombie virus that is spreading. If you hadn’t taken the dicine we brought, you would have turned into a zombie by the end of the day. You wouldn’t have survived past tonight." Chu Miao replied softly and bluntly again.

The president sucked in a breath.

"So when I feel ice cold and my mind goes blurry is it because....?" The president asked again.

"The virus is trying to take over. Luckily, you have a very strong immune system that has been fighting it. That’s why you feel hot and cold.

I talked to your daughter. I asked her if I should kill the virus and let the dicine repair your body and heal normally or let the virus spread and give you sothing else to help you awaken a superpower.

She chose the second option. Now that you are awake, you can choose for yourself." Chu Miao decided to let the president know his situation since he was the patient anyway.

"Is that possible?" President Yu was surprised that people could take advantage of the zombie virus to awaken a superpower.

"Not everyone can achieve it. So people have special physiques which allow this to be possible.

"I will choose the sa option as my daughter. If I can awaken a superpower no matter how weak it is, it will still be better than nothing and I can serve the people better and protect my daughter."

"Alright, you will have to be unconscious for that but don’t worry, when you wake up, you will be a new president." Chu Miao said before feeding the president with a pill.
