They were packing and arguing over who would travel in which RV.

"Are we going back to that place?" Soone asked softly.

Everyone understood that they ant going back to the Soul Ring.

"Yes. We will be in the village soon. So there is no need to waste ti." Chu Miao replied affirmatively.

"Okay, everyone get into the RV." Grandpa Chu instructed. They couldn’t just disappear while outside.

Once inside the vehicle, Chu Miao took all of them into the Soul Ring.

Then, she teleported out of there. She didn’t say goodbye to Yu Wane’r or anyone else. She wasn’t good with goodbyes.

A few minutes later, she appeared in the sa spot they had set up camp outside the village when they were coming to City C.

The place was the sa as they had left it. Without a word, she took out materials for building arrays and constructed a larger array than before.

Once a concealnt array mixed with a defensive array and a spirit gathering array were set up, Chu Miao let everyone out.

"You guys stay here, Ye Xuan and I will go into the village to scout before deciding whether to cultivate there or not." She wasn’t wasting ti. She wanted to be done with this place then go back to the sect.

No one argued because they knew following them would only create an extra burden.

However, sothing seed to have attracted zombies to the village, yet they didn’t seem to be able to cross the threshold of the entrance.

This surprised Chu Miao who hadn’t expected to see a formation of such magnitude in this world.

As they got closer, the zombies slled their presence and imdiately ca running from the bushes and trees and tried to attack them.

Chu Miao didn’t even bother with them as she spread her light spiritual energy and burned them all to ashes.

Seeing how the zombies couldn’t enter the village, Chu Miao thought they wouldn’t be able to enter as well, but to her surprise, they walked right through without any resistance.

This was unexpected but the two said nothing. They just raised their guard because this place didn’t seem normal.

Both Chu Miao and Ye Xuan stood just inside the entrance with their mouths open wide to the point that a duck egg could fit inside.

Not many things could shock the two since the apocalypse began, but the situation in the village was astonishing.
