"Good evening." Everyone replied in unison and they warmly invited him into the elevator.

Grandpa Chu thought that the person who raised the young man did a good job. He was even grateful to be invited in a public elevator.

"Chu Miao, are we going back to the mall?" Ye Xuan asked as a way to start a conversation.

"Yes. We killed the zombies in the surrounding area after all. If we don’t collect the supplies in the mall, it will benefit soone else and all our hard work would have gone to waste." Chu Miao replied.

"Has the military not collected the supplies in that mall? They took over most of the supply points and moved everything in the first few days of the apocalypse." Grandpa Chu asked.

"It should be because they focused more on the popular and large supply points where they could get a large amount of stock at once. They should have left the smaller and unpopular locations to the citizens who go out to kill zombies." Ye Xuan replied.

"I guess it should be a way to encourage more people to go out and kill zombies. The people know that if they are able to secure the locations with supplies then they would have enough food and water and won’t starve." Father added.

The group reached the ground floor and exited the elevator together.

There were still people who were sitting outside the building as the temperature had gone down to 35° Celsius after sundown.

The mont those people saw Chu Miao and Ye Xuan exit the elevator, they were startled and got up like their seats were on fire. They all huddled towards a corner of the building wall, shivering like quails.
