"Petrified Skin Zombie..."
ng Changwei murmured with a grim expression, then frowned as he looked at the culprit who killed three companions, and said, "What is this thing, a Venom Zombie?"
Zhang Su shrugged and said, "Calling it that isn’t wrong..."
The Venom Zombie now looked different from when it was alive. Previously, the spots on its body only darkened and beca visible when it vomited, but now they were all fully exposed, bright purple patches that looked like severe skin disease.
"But... Master Zhang, why are there such strange zombies? Do you know how they appeared?"
ng Changwei wiped the sweat from his forehead in frustration.
"Haven’t you seen them before?"
Zhang Su tentatively asked.
"Where would we see such monsters..."
The people with ng Changwei shook their heads, looking at Zhang Su with confused eyes, like naive students, clearly learning for the first ti about the existence of Mutated Zombies.
"Xin Qi, when you went to the Bridge Castle to collect grain, didn’t you bring 003?"
Zhang Su turned his head to ask Xin Qi. Although 003 was modified, it was clearly different from ordinary zombies. If they had seen it, they wouldn’t be so surprised.
Xin Qi smiled wryly and said, "You know, brother... they were very cooperative at the ti, and our transaction went smoothly, so we didn’t show off our weapon."
Zhang Su felt a bit deflated after hearing this. It seed they only released 003 for intimidation because Celestial Horse Island looked unapproachable. But then again, there was no need to show off such a lethal weapon to everyone.

We guessed it was because these zombies were trapped in a specific environnt for a long ti and mutated due to environntal factors, gaining special abilities."
"The Petrified Skin Zombie I ntioned earlier was discovered at an abandoned quarry, so this Venom Zombie is likely, uh... is there possibly a toxic environnt nearby?"
"Toxin? The pesticide and fertilizer factory!"
As soon as Zhang Su finished speaking, Xin Qi responded imdiately, pointing northwest, "Brother, if you talk about toxins, there’s a pesticide and fertilizer factory over there!"
"I know that pesticide and fertilizer factory!"
Soone next to ng Changwei spoke up excitedly, "I have relatives working at that chemical plant. I heard the equipnt is outdated, the emissions are non-compliant, and there are many violations. Every year, they argue with nearby villagers, but because the boss is very crafty, no one can do anything about it!"
Zhang Su nodded, not dwelling on past matters, and said, "This zombie was probably trapped in the chemical plant, resulting in mutation, and then, due to unknown factors, gathered with the horde. We don’t know how many Venom Zombies like it there are."
"There shouldn’t be many."
The person with relatives at the chemical plant added, "The scale of that plant isn’t big, it’s an old plant that planned reform and reconstruction for a long ti, but the approval never ca through. I heard there are only about a hundred employees, and during the disaster outbreak, it was in the morning, so probably just a few people were on duty!"
"Then it should be no problem, maybe it’s just this one Venom Zombie. Damn, if there were more of these things, it would be unimaginable!"
"If the mutation conditions are so harsh, then it’s sowhat acceptable... there shouldn’t be too many. It’s a pity they ran into it head-on."
ng Changwei’s expression lightened slightly, with a trace of sadness in his single eye, lanting the unpredictability of life.
Zhang Su spread his hands, gesturing toward the barracks, and said, "The dead are gone, the living must continue to live. Boss ng, shall we head to the Cyan Dragon Corps to get goods?"

ng Changwei sighed deeply, looking at the motionless bodies of his brothers lying on the ground, mournfully saying, "Their necks were corroded, not even a damn chance to beco zombies, completely freed. Let’s load them in the cars and bury them later."

The people from Bridge Town all got to work, carefully loading the three bodies into the vehicle.
Zhang Su observed ng Changwei’s actions and quietly instructed those with him, "Later, load up the Venom Zombie for Dr. Fu to research! Don’t just take one, bring a few more zombies back to burn, so they don’t suspect anything!"
The Petrified Skin Zombie provided excellent bulletproof materials, the Venom Zombie might have so unique uses too, waiting for experts to uncover.
Everyone cleaned up the scene and drove toward the barracks.
"Boss, it looks like... they plan to take the zombie with them!"
In ng Changwei’s car, soone said with a peculiar expression, watching the rearview mirror.
"Hmm?"
ng Changwei was startled, looking at the rearview mirror, indeed seeing two people loading the zombie from the road into the trunk, which seed very strange.
Could it be "taking garbage with you"? Apparently not!
When sothing out of the ordinary happens, there’s always a reason.
"I’ll ask!"
While speaking, ng Changwei accelerated to catch up to the FJ Cruiser, opened the window, and said, "Hey, Master Zhang, why are your people taking the zombie bodies back?"
Zhang Su slightly slowed down, having anticipated the suspicion, and explained naturally, "Of course it’s for fuel, why, do you think it’s for eating..."
"Fuel?"
ng Changwei looked at Zhang Su incredulously, as if viewing a monster.
"You don’t know, do you? Zombies burn well, not worse than coal!"
Zhang Su looked at ng Changwei with a surprised expression. This wasn’t a secret for long; revealing it wasn’t a big deal, using a worthless secret to cover the real secret.
"I... damn, we really haven’t burned any! Is that true?"
The people in ng Changwei’s car exchanged glances. Usually, zombie bodies were discarded far away to avoid virus infection, who dared to burn them?
"So, with all these zombie bodies everywhere, there’s no worry for heating or firewood?" ng Changwei asked in disbelief.
In their camp, they didn’t lack firewood; rural areas never lacked such things. But if there were better resources, it wasn’t unwelco.
"Exactly, and seeing as there are lots of zombie bodies here, I told you. Anyway, you can’t carry them all. See, I taught you sothing useful, and later you should give us more supplies as tuition."
Zhang Su remarked naturally.
"Easily done, easily done..."
ng Changwei slowed the car, while inside, people showed peculiar expressions, feeling that this leader was shaless, but sharing real experiences was actually nice.
