"What are you two doing?" Chu Xia was eating a hard and cold bun when she saw Bai Xue bring Bai Feng back with Su Hu. Didn’t they throw Bai Feng outside because he was bitten by the mutated rats and would turn into a zombie? Why were they bringing him back ho?
Bai Qingshi also raised his head and looked at Bai Xue with confusion.
"What’s going on?" Bai Qingshi asked. "Why did you bring him inside? Are you not afraid that we will be bitten by him in the middle of the night?"
Bai Qingshi thought that Bai Xue’s kind heart didn’t allow her to leave Bai Feng outside and she brought him inside with her.
"Isn’t it because of your precious daughter?" Bai Xue sneered before telling what happened. By the ti she finished speaking, both Chu Xia and Bai Qingshi were filled with anger and started trembling in rage.
Chu Xia was furious because she had used all kinds of tricks to make sure that Yan Wanning would not be able to return to the city. She wanted that woman to stay in the countryside all her life. Now that she heard from Bai Xue that Yan Wanning was living in the sa penthouse as her, Chu Xia felt as if she couldn’t breathe.
Bai Qingshi was just as angry. In his eyes, even if he hadn’t given any attention to Bai iyue, he had raised her and given her food and a roof over her head. Thus, if she had supplies in her hands, she should have given them to him to show her respect and filial piety.
Why did she bring Yan Wanning to the city along with those two bastards?
When he thought about Yan Wanning, Bai Qingshi felt his moustache bristle. Though he was scared because of the changes in the world, sowhere he was also relieved. This relief was closely related to Yan Wanning’s death. He thought that with the world’s end, that woman would be killed pathetically in the countryside and the secret that he had been carrying for all these years would be buried in the countryside as well.
Bai Qingshi was relieved just thinking about it. He was happy when he thought about how he got rid of Yan Wanning without dirtying his hands, but that woman was actually alive and living right next door!
He exchanged a look with Chu Xia, whose eyes were flickering as well.

However, the two of them did not say anything regarding Yan Wanning and Bai Xue simply thought that they were furious because of Bai iyue’s unfilial actions.

"Lawless! That girl has turned completely lawless!" Bai Qingshi bristled. However, he was also a bit nervous after hearing the things that Bai Xue told him.
He knew very well how Bai iyue looked at him before he threw her in the room. Those eyes filled with resentnt—he would never forget them! If that girl was really daring enough to threaten Bai Xue, he was worried that she might really beco agitated and kill him.
Thus, even though he scolded Bai iyue inside the safety of his house, he didn’t dare to go outside and face her.
Seeing this, Bai Xue snorted. In truth, she looked down on her father a little. He didn’t have much strength or skill, but he seduced three won and had children with all three of them.

When Bai Xue took out her phone, she saw that it was Xiang i.
She frowned when she saw her calling her; however, after hesitating for a while, she answered the call. But before she could say anything, she heard Xiang i crying from the other side of the call.

After she finished speaking, Bai Xue ended the call. The reason she allowed Xiang i to co and look for her was because she wanted to bring a few people to her side as well. With more people, she would be able to steal Bai iyue’s supplies. She didn’t believe that Bai iyue would be able to suppress so many people!
As for how she would manage these many people and their als? Bai Xue never thought about it. Because she was more focused on stealing Bai iyue’s supplies.
