When ng Suisui and the rest heard her answer, they heaved a sigh of relief. They were not afraid of hard work; instead, what they feared was there would be no work for them to do.
Bai iyue looked at the small group in front of her and was quite impressed. Compared to Xiang i and the rest, ng Suisui and these people were much smarter. Instead of relying on others, they wanted to rely on themselves from the start.

Bai iyue turned around and found Bai Feng standing behind him. She raised a brow and walked over to Bai Feng who was standing not far from where she was standing.

"What do these people want from you?" Bai Feng tipped his chin at ng Suisui and the rest. His eyes flashed with murderous intent when he saw the small group. Bai Feng had a very good mory and even though there were a lot of survivors, he still rembered these people.
Clearly, they ca here with Xiang i and the rest, yet they ca looking for Bai iyue. He thought that these people didn’t find any supplies in his penthouse and ca here to beg Bai iyue for so.
Bai iyue glanced at ng Suisui and the others before explaining, "They asked to give them a job in exchange for supplies and I agreed. There are indeed so jobs that they can do so I don’t think that there is any reason for to refuse."
There were indeed so odd jobs, such as turning the soil in the greenhouse and fixing the solar panels. She could leave these tasks in the hands of these people such that the job would be done sooner.
Bai Feng nodded when he heard Bai iyue’s response; as long as these people did not cause trouble for Bai iyue, he was not going to find trouble with them either.
He looked a little relieved because the last thing that he wanted was for these survivors to harass Bai iyue as well. He didn’t care if he was bothered by them but he couldn’t allow Bai iyue to deal with his ss. After a short pause, he asked, "I am heading out; do you want to co with ?"
"What? Were the supplies all eaten up in an hour? Dear , if this goes on, you will die filling up the hole that your dear sister has dug for you." Bai iyue snickered with a hint of sarcasm on her face.
Bai Feng clenched his fist and he lowered his head without saying anything. Though he knew that Bai iyue no longer got along with the Bai family, he felt upset over the fact that she was treating him with the sa hostility as others.
He did nothing to provoke Bai iyue.
He sighed and rubbed his forehead, feeling rather troubled. He couldn’t let go of Bai iyue, as he had protected her from the day she ca to the Bai house, and neither could he abandon the Bai family, as he was raised to protect and care for them.
"Yueyue, do you really have to be so harsh on ?"
Bai iyue shrugged her shoulders indifferently. "I am not being harsh; I was just pointing out the truth to you. You feel upset because you know I am right. Anyway, I cannot co with you. I need to arrange a few things at ho and because of what happened last night, I don’t dare to leave my mother alone. What if those people co to look for trouble again?"
Bai Feng nodded in understanding. He said to Bai iyue, "Then I will take my leave."
However, he only took two steps before pausing and turning to look at Bai iyue, who arched a brow.

"Yueyue… When I return Dad and the rest, they will be fine, right?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Bai iyue blinked her eyes and burst out laughing. She wondered why this man had co looking for her; so this was the reason. But it seed like he was worried that if he was to leave, Bai iyue would rush out and kill the Bai family.
And he was right.
Bai iyue did have the plan to kill them once she heard that Bai Feng was leaving.
Who would have thought that Bai Feng, despite pretending that everything was fine, actually saw things much more thoroughly than Bai Qingshi?
When he saw that Bai iyue was not speaking, Bai Feng panicked and said to her, "Yueyue, I know that you are angry and disappointed with the things that our father has done but he has been very kind to . Even when my mother went to blackmail him and threatened him, he took in and gave everything that my mother didn’t. He gave a na, stopped others from calling a bastard and put a halt to the bullying I had to face as a child."
"I know that he was never a father to you but he was one to . So before you raise your hand on him, can you think of ? I don’t want the two of us to beco enemies, Yueyue."
Bai iyue’s jaw moved and she clenched her teeth with hatred. She looked at Bai Feng and questioned, "Do you really want it to be like this?"
