Bai iyue stood in front of the small crowd with a blank expression. The current Chen Yuya was really different than the Chen Yuya of the apocalyptic world.
At present, Chen Yuya was just a D-rank actress who only knew how to be jealous and cause trouble for won she deed unworthy of the status that they had reached. Unfortunately for her, all the actors and actresses she looked down upon had reached a status where she couldn't offend them.
The only one she could bully was Bai iyue, who was the youngest actress in the company. In the past, Bai iyue was cowardly, and it made it easier for Chen Yuya to bully her.
Her attitude didn't change much when the doomsday arrived as Chen Yuya was fortunate enough to awaken powers that could seduce any man. Maybe it had sothing to do with her past actions or her coquettish skills to woo n, but Chen Yuya ended up awakening as a walking aprodisiac.
No man could resist her, and Chen Yuya used this power of hers to bully her and her Cai Cai.
But this wasn't even enough to summarise what Chen Yuya had done to her. The reason Bai Cai ended up getting separated from her was because of Chen Yuya!
At that ti, she had long awakened as a dual-power supernatural being. The entire Bai family was relying on her, and even Chen Yuya, who had hooked up with many n, didn't want to let Bai iyue go.
This was because she was too lazy to work and go out to fight with zombies. However, Chen Yuya's seductive powers were not strong enough to charm high-ranking supernatural beings. She could only hook up with low-ranking ones because of this; the resources that were brought back were not enough to satisfy neither Chen Yuya nor the base where they were staying.
Thus, Bai iyue beca the main driving force of the fighting team. Because if they didn't hand over the required resources, the alternative would be to step out of the base, and Bai iyue couldn't let Bai Cai grow up in between the zombies.
But becoming the leader of the fighting and search team also ca with many disadvantages. Firstly, she had to leave with the team for weeks, and secondly, she could not take Bai Cai with her.
Back then she was simply infatuated with Su Hu to the point that she wouldn't dare say east if he said west. So when he promised her that he was going to take care of Bai Cai, she believed him. After all, Su Hu told her that even if Bai Cai was the son of another man, he treated him like his own.
He told sweet lies to her and cajoled her into believing him.
Thus, Bai iyue left her son with Su Hu. Three and four tis, nothing happened. Bai Cai remained safe and sound under Su Hu's care, and Bai iyue lowered her guard.
It was her biggest mistake.
At first her son was fine, but soon every ti she left the base and her son in the care of Su Hu, her son would cling onto her leg and cry until he was out of breath.
He would beg her to not leave him alone, but he was so young and there was no school or ti to teach him words. Thus, Bai Cai's vocabulary was limited. He only knew how to say –

Back then, Bai iyue thought that he was just being a baby. But looking back, Bai iyue felt like there was sothing that she missed. Su Hu and Bai Xue must have abused her son when she was not with him.

She foolishly left him behind with his abusers.
Bai iyue wished she could kick her past self in the head.
But then again, she was a single mother and the only supernatural among her group who awakened fighting powers. The entire Bai family, Su Hu and her son, were relying on her. She was always in a hurry and thus failed to see the signs.
If she had, then Bai iyue would have brought her son along with her, no matter how high the risk factor went.
It was her misfortune that she understood the human heart too late. In the doomsday, even children would refuse to accept their parents for the sake of saving more resources. How could she blindly trust soone? How did she fail to understand such a simple thing that greed could turn even the kindest person sinister?
It was her fault that she stupidly believed Su Hu? Even she was no longer the sa in the doomsday, so how could she foolishly believe that Su Hu was the sa kind man she took him as?
The world itself changed, so how could humans remain the sa?
Back then, it was this blind trust that Bai Xue and Chen Yuya exploited to send her son away from her.
As Bai iyue returned to present after snapping out of her thoughts, she gazed at Chen Yuya with a cold look in her eyes.
Chen Yuya stepped back when she saw the look in Bai iyue's eyes but soon regained her montum.
She glared right back and said to Bai iyue, "Who are giving that death glare to, huh? Its you who let down Brother Hu, and yet you shalessly colluded with your adulterer and sent him to prison? Do you think you are really sothing? Huh?"
The chill in Bai iyue's eyes deepened, but Chen Yuya was not done yet. She wanted to ruin this bitch's reputation to the point that Bai iyue would never be able to fight for resources.
