"No, everything is fine," Mother Bai shook her head. She smiled with so embarrassnt and said to Mother Lei, "I am sorry for alarming you. There was sothing that I wanted to say to Ah Qian. I was in a hurry and didn’t even see the ti. I am really sorry about it."
"Ah, no, its alright." Mother Lei waved her hand and invited Mother Bai inside the house.

Yan Wanning didn’t even get to finish speaking when Lei Qian raised his voice and exclaid loudly. His shout startled not only Mother Bai but also Mother Lei. She rolled her eyes and smacked her son on the back of his head before saying to Mother Bai, "Don’t worry, Sister Bai. My son wanted to go on a hunt early in the morning anyway. Since Yueyue wants to go on a hunt, he will accompany her."
Mother Lei knew that Yan Wanning was trying to get the two children close so how could she not help her? After all, her son was adamant on making Bai iyue his wife. If he missed out on her, Mother Lei was worried that her son might end up dying as a bachelor.
What was more, Mother Lei had slowly understood that Bai iyue was not a harsh and cold woman. She was made of tougher stuff but that didn’t an that she was not a good woman.
When Mother Bai heard that Lei Qian was willing to follow Bai iyue, she heaved a sigh of relief. She handed the bowl of tofu soup and the stir-fried beef with green vegetables that she had grown to Mother Lei and took her leave.
Lei Qian looked at the warm soup and side dishes and heaved a sigh of relief. He and his family were worried about what to do with the breakfast. Thus, these dishes were certainly tily. At least they could recook the half-cooked rice and then use the tofu soup to make sothing like porridge.
It would certainly not be delicious but it would at least save the rice from getting thrown.

Even Mother Lei heaved a sigh of relief. Mother Bai had no idea that she had helped them greatly. These dishes of hers were similar to a situation where soone handed her a pillow when she was sleepy.
Thus, they were not at all polite with Yan Wanning and took the dishes from her. Mother Lei politely thanked Mother Bai and patted her on the back of her hand before telling her that she could co to them at any ti.

Everyone was in a much better mood after seeing so decent dishes on the table. Only Lu Yin pursed her lips angrily when she saw Lei Qian soak the rice in the soup and eat it instead of touching the dishes that she had cooked.
She stubbornly refused to eat the dishes that Yan Wanning brought and picked up her own dishes, but the second she took a bite of the burnt eggplant, her face twisted and she almost vomited.

She glanced at Lei Qian, worrying that the man would notice sothing amiss but when she saw that he was busy discussing sothing with Lu Yu, she heaved a sigh of relief and placed the eggplant back down on the plate and continued to eat the rice with soup like others.
Lei Qian didn’t have the ti to pay attention to Lu Yin. He was currently discussing the strategy for the hunt. He had no idea where Bai iyue wanted to go for the hunt tonight and had no idea how dangerous it was.
He couldn’t go alone with her but he could certainly not take everyone with him either. If those survivors sensed Bai iyue’s absence, they would certainly try to cause trouble for Aunt and his family. Lei Qian thought that since he was taking Lei Yan with him, Lu Yu should stay at ho and take care of the things at ho.
And since Lu Yu was staying, of course Lu Yin had to stay back as well because he didn’t have the patience to deal with her. Sothing Lu Yin was not thrilled about at all.
