"Brother Hu!"
When Su Hu heard Xiang i’s voice, he jumped. This had now beco his instinctive reaction whenever Xiang i was around him; this woman seed to have sensed that she had beco the core mber of the survivors team; thus, Xiang i had grown more or less arrogant.
What was more, now that Bai Xue was relying on her, she didn’t stop Xiang i from getting close to Su Hu and let the woman cling to Su Hu. Because Bai Xue didn’t stop her, Xiang i had gotten bolder and bolder.

"What!?" Su Hu felt his heart jump into his throat as he turned on his feet and rushed downstairs. When he saw Bai Xue distribute the remaining supplies to the new survivors, he was so angry that his head buzzed. Was this woman crazy? Or was he crazy?!
What was more, neither Chu Xia nor Bai Qingshi stopped her. Even if they wanted to dote on this daughter of theirs, there was a limit to craziness!

"I know that they look pitiful!" Su Hu was annoyed upon hearing her words. In the past, he used to find these habits of Bai Xue really cute. But now that half of his stomach was churning with starvation, how could he watch what Bai Xue was doing without getting angry?

"SU HU!" Chu Xia rushed towards the man who made her precious daughter cry and smacked him on the back of his head harshly. "What are you doing? Why are you making Xuexue cry? What has she done to make you scold her like this?"
"Aunt Chu—"
"Shut up!" Chu Xia scolded the man fiercely. "Do you think that you can do anything you want? Don’t forget that you are living off our family. Who do you think you are to scold my daughter? Know your position!" She finished harshly.
As soon as she finished speaking, Su Hu’s face turned red with sha and humiliation. If this were before, he would have turned around and never turned back to look at Bai Xue, but he was an orphan and a small star; he didn’t have a family who would look after him. Thus, even though he was embarrassed by Chu Xia like this, he couldn’t leave.
Bai Xue was quite satisfied with Chu Xia’s scolding. These days, Su Hu was getting more and more rebellious. She said one thing, and he would retort with two. How could she not be upset? This man was now relying on her and her family. What was with his attitude?
However, she still smiled and offered Su Hu the carrot after the stick. "Don’t worry, Brother Hu. I am not that careless; I think we can now go out and collect supplies from the supermarket closest to our building. This little food won’t last long anyway."

"It’s okay," Bai Xue said as she patted him on the arm. She then explained, "Bai iyue and Lei Qian left the building, which ans that they will certainly clean the streets. You just need to make a team and follow them; however, there is no need to follow them to where they are going. Just go to the nearest supermarket and bring the supplies."
After realising that the man who slept with Bai iyue was none other than Lei Qian, Bai Xue’s thought process twisted more and more. In her eyes, Bai iyue was soone who was supposed to be under her feet; everything she was supposed to have should have been worse than her.
And if Bai iyue got sothing better than her, then sooner or later, that thing or person would belong to her. Since Lei Qian was going to belong to her, what was wrong with her taking advantage of him and his skills?
Bai iyue, too. That woman was allowed to live for so long because she was supposed to beco her stepping stone. Thus, there was nothing wrong with her actions of taking advantage of Bai iyue’s hard work. That woman owed it to her!
Bai Xue didn’t think that these actions of hers were embarrassing.
On the street, Bai iyue and Lei Qian had no idea that they were being used as human bulldozers to clean the trash. If they had known, they would have been so furious that at least Bai iyue would have punched Bai Xue in the nose for her shalessness!
