"Will she really be fine?"
Bai iyue raised her head and looked at ng Qibao who was eyeing Jiang Haidai with a frown on his face.
"Are you worried?" Bai iyue asked with a raised brow, and the young man with a sunny face nodded solemnly. He said to her, "I don’t an anything but what if this woman turns into a zombie? Wouldn’t we all be in trouble if that happened?"
"Shouldn’t we kill her before she causes trouble for us?" spoke ng Qibao.
He had no idea that as soon as he finished speaking, ng Suisui, who stood behind him, stiffened and her expression beca unnatural as well.
"You don’t need to worry about it," Bai iyue explained with a smile. "The zombies who attacked that woman are normal zombies and their claws don’t have much virus. That small amount of virus is nothing to be worried about; what you need to worry about is getting bitten or scratched by the fangs of the zombies."
What was more, it was too cold and Jiang Haidai was wearing multiple layers of patched clothes and jackets to protect herself and the child; thus, even though the zombies did try to bite her, they only bit through the layers of the clothes.
Because of this reason, that woman was still fine.
If not, one could only imagine what would happen to Jiang Haidai.
ng Suisui was quietly listening to Bai iyue. The second she heard her words, her face turned even paler. Was she really going to turn into a zombie?
ng Suisui wanted to talk to Bai iyue but she was scared that she would be abandoned by everyone, including her brother. She knew that ng Qibao would be reluctant to abandon her but for the safety of the team, he might leave her alone.

She cald down and went back inside the car.

She turned her back on the balcony and walked over to where she had parked her car. But before she could get inside the car, she ran into Lei Qian.
"Ouch!" Bai iyue winced as she dropped the bag that she carried with her onto the ground and covered her nose. This man, he looked softer than a woman so why was his chest so hard? He nearly broke her nose.
"Sorry." Lei Qian apologised as he bent down to pick up the things that Bai iyue had dropped.
However, before he could even pick the bag, Bai iyue snatched the bag away from the floor and glared at the man.
"Don’t touch my things!" She snapped at the man just as her eyes flicked to the pregnancy report that was sticking out of the bag. She tucked the papers inside the bag and snorted.
Seeing her react like a child whose candy was almost snatched, Lei Qian was speechless.
He comnted, "Are you sure that I didn’t make you pregnant? Your temper is getting worse by the day."
"As if you have the ability!" Bai iyue hissed like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.
This man, why was he sharp? He almost caught her. Fortunately, she was faster and hid the papers; if this man saw the reports, he would never leave her alone.

She harrumphed and walked away, leaving Lei Qian to stare at her speechlessly.
"Why don’t you give a chance and I will show you if I have the ability or not?" Lei Qian called after her. No man would be able to withstand such words and neither could he.
How dare she say that he didn’t have the ability?!
Bai iyue simply snorted when she heard his words. No one other than her knew better how strong Lei Qian’s ability was but she dared not say it. She hurried inside the car and locked it before lying down on the back seat and leaving the task of driving in the hands of her elder brother.
She was tired after running around for so long and needed a small rest.
