She turned on her feet and walked over to where Bai Feng was sitting silently on a plush couch. Hiding the calculative glint in her eyes, she plopped down on the floor — and knelt right in front of Bai Feng. Though the pain in her knees made Bai Xue's eyes turn red with tears, she suppressed the urge to cry. She lowered her head and begged in an aggrieved voice,
"Brother Feng, I beg you to save Yueyue. That man —the one who hurt her—is actually living with her. I don't know what his intentions are but since he is keeping her by his side, I don't think that's anything good."
Bai Feng frowned upon hearing her words. He straightened up on the couch and faint golden sparks flew from the tips of his fingers, which singed the edges of the couch. He glanced down at Bai Xue with a faint angry look, which made the woman suck in a breath.
"Speak clearly; what do you an by that Yueyue is in trouble?" Bai Feng asked with a scowl. "The man who bullied Yueyue? You an to say the client that father arranged for her—"
Bai Xue shook her head and said, "No, it's not him. It's a different man; Sister Yueyue escaped from the clutches of that client." Because Bai Feng was thinking about Bai iyue, he didn't notice the flash of resentnt and anger in Bai Xue's eyes when the woman talked about Bai iyue escaping from the hands of that old man and rushing to the arms of soone as excellent as Lei Qian.
How good would it have been if Lei Qian had fallen for her? Then she wouldn't have to worry about anything. She would have lived like a queen!
"What do you an by that: it's another man?" Bai Feng asked. His tone was not good as he continued asking, "What are you trying to say exactly?"

I think that he is bullying her and making her work hard to collect supplies for him."
"I just saw Sister Yueyue bringing more than ten sacks of supplies. She and Aunt Yan don't need so many sacks of supplies; surely that man is forcing her to hunt the supplies."
When Bai Xue thought about how Bai iyue was having a good ti living with Lei Qian, she wanted to sow discord between the two and make it impossible for the two of them to stay together.
Wasn't Bai iyue acting confident because she had a supernatural team? Then she would drag Bai iyue down with her and snatch Lei Qian and his team from Bai iyue. Once those n started favouring her, Bai Xue was sure that Bai iyue would co crawling to her.

"Who told you this?" Bai Feng asked instead of rushing to question Bai iyue.
When Bai Xue heard his question, she cursed him for being nosy. However, she still blinked her eyes and innocently said, "Do I need soone to tell this? I don't think that man is a good man. If he was, why would he sleep with my sister when she was drugged? Not to ntion any decent man would refuse to co near a woman whose life he had almost ruined. But that man is living with Sister Yueyue—I think he is planning sothing really terrible."
When Bai Feng heard that the man who had bullied Bai iyue was causing trouble, he got to his feet and helped Bai Xue, who was still kneeling on the ground. He asked her, "Tell clearly, what's going on?"
Though he didn't lose his rationality as he knew that Bai iyue was not as foolish as to let a man suppress her, at the sa ti, he couldn't help but feel angry when he thought about how soone had bullied Bai iyue and was even dancing in front of her. Who was this shaless man who had lost all his sha?
He couldn't help but feel distressed when he thought about how much Bai iyue had suffered. Bai Xue, who hated Bai iyue, was actually kneeling and begging for her safety. Was Bai iyue really doing well?
While Bai Feng was worried about Bai iyue, the latter was lying on her comfortable bed, trapped in the mory of that night. She had no idea whether it was because of Lei Qian's continued persistence but suddenly the mories of that night started flooding in her head.
She humd softly as she turned on her bed while being trapped. While Lei Qian said that he rembered everything regarding that night, the truth was that other than his face, Bai iyue did not recall anything.
Now that she was dreaming of that day, she rembered everything. In the dream, she was running in the dimly lit corridor while escaping from the old man arranged by her father. She could hear the booming, loud noise of the Dj.
Not far from where she was standing, she could see a door opened at the far end of the corridor. Bai iyue didn't even stop to think twice before she charged right at the door, which was opened and had illuminated the corridor.
Just as she threw herself inside the room, the man who was the owner of the room looked at her with a surprised expression on his face. His phoenix eyes, which were filled with stars, stared at her with pure affection.
"H–Help ."
