The woman was in a similar position as Bai iyue, where she and her mother had been kicked out of the house by her father, who brought his mistress and son ho.
The Barter System was a great tool for the woman to turn her situation around. As long as she could buy this jade hairpin, she would be able to earn a fortune that would help her in the long run.

Bai Jixuan agreed. But inwardly he was rather worried.
