Mother Ye knew that she had hit an iron plate this ti around. She parted her lips and begged for rcy, "Please let us off; we don't have this many supplies. If you force us, then we will have no choice but to die." Mother Ye completely lost her montum the second she saw that Bai iyue was the one who was holding the ball in her court now.

After she finished speaking, she pushed the man in her hand to Bai Jixuan, who didn't even think twice before raising his hand and slapping the man in the face. "You bastard, you really know how to cause trouble, don't you? You damned bastard."
Bai Jixuan cursed fiercely as he dragged the man along with him.
Mother Ye saw her husband being dragged and turned crazy. She rushed at Bai iyue with a roar, not wanting to let the woman have the upper hand. However, just as she charged at Bai iyue, ng Suisui who stood right behind Bai iyue stepped in.

Bai iyue frowned when she turned to look at the large glowing orb that held smoky black fus. She was about to walk over to the orb but before she could take another step, she was pulled back by Lei Qian, who shook his head and said to her, "Don't get too close. We don't know what it is."
"There is no need to worry." Bai iyue pulled his hand off her wrist and walked over. She casually put her hand on the glowing orb and frowned when she realized that she couldn't sense anything.
However, just because she couldn't sense anything didn't an that there was anything wrong with the orb. She thought about it a little and turned to look at Bai Zhan before saying to him, "Brother, can you bring this orb to the penthouse?"
Bai Zhan didn't refuse, as he knew that his sister wouldn't do anything that would harm their family. He nodded and then started rolling the orb to the penthouse and at the sa ti, Bai iyue turned to look at Mother Ye.
The woman was lying on the floor with a look of absolute terror in her eyes. When she saw Bai iyue staring at her, she swallowed hard and tried to run for it but Bai iyue didn't let that woman off. She raised her hand and shot an ice needle right at the back of the head of the woman, causing her to collapse on the floor.
Mother Ye, who was sprinting just a second ago, couldn't understand what was going on. She couldn't even move her feet or hands; she stayed on the floor and stared up at Bai iyue with horror in her eyes.
"Since you cannot control your hands and feet, then you might as well never move ever again," Bai iyue sneered as she turned around on her feet and walked away.
When Mother Ye heard the words of the woman, she suddenly felt that there was sothing amiss. She raised her head and opened her mouth to call Bai iyue but she soon realized that she couldn't call Bai iyue at all! Her eyes popped out of her sockets.
Though Bai iyue didn't say anything, Mother Ye realised sothing. She couldn't move her body. Not even in the slightest.
At that mont, Mother Ye realised that she really should have kept her mouth shut. However, even though she was filled with regrets at that mont,. There was no point in feeling sorry over what had already happened because even if she tried to change the past, nothing would be changed!
On the other hand, Bai iyue and the rest brought the glowing orb back to the house where Bai iyue and her family lived.
To be honest, when Bai iyue saw the glowing orb, she was not even surprised. She had noticed that ng Suisui and ng Qibao had not been feeling well these past few days. Everyone in the team knew about it even if the ng siblings didn't tell anyone.
Having lived in the apocalyptic world for so long, Bai iyue knew that there was sothing wrong with the two of them. However, she didn't say anything because she didn't wish to cause trouble for the ng siblings.
Bai iyue looked at the glowing orb and said to her brother, "Bring it to the storehouse and leave it there. The situation is unclear and we cannot be sure what would happen once this orb breaks open." Bai iyue had hardly finished speaking when a shrill voice shrieked from behind.
"What do you an by keeping it in the storehouse? You should destroy it before it causes trouble for others!"
Bai iyue frowned as she turned to look at Lu Yu. She had long heard about the ng siblings disappearing in a ball of light and thought that the two of them were gone for good. Who would have thought that the woman would still keep them!?
