Mo He grabbed the man by the back of his collar and snickered, "Why are you running? It's not like we are going to hurt you, are we?"
When Lin Jue heard the words of the man behind him, his face twisted into a bitter expression. He never thought that he would one day fail, and, on top of that, he would be caught as well. To make things worse, these people were actually ability users. Why didn't anyone tell him that these people were ability users?
He lifted his head and looked at the people in front of him. From the young woman who was staring at him icily to the n who stood on her sides, every single one of them seed dangerous. For the first ti in his life, Lin Jue thought that he had kicked an iron plate.

When Bai iyue heard the words of man, she curled her lips in a mocking sneer. She knew that there were fools lingering on the streets but she never thought that there were such big fools out there.
"Ah, it seems like you are really a big shot, eh?" Mo He was smiling, but his smile turned upside down when he heard the man threaten him. He pulled the man back and then caught him by his throat before slamming Lin Jue on the wall right behind him. He didn't hold back while using his strength, which made several cracks appear on the wall.
When Mo He made the move, several other people who ca with Lin Jue wanted to save their boss but were stopped when Bai Zhan and Bai Jixuan caught them and pulled them back. Their eyes were filled with murderous intent as they stared at the people who were trying to cause trouble for them.
The thugs noticed that these people were not easy to bully, and they lowered their heads almost at once. Though they were from the army, the truth was that no one had absolute authority in this world. It was just that a few supernatural beings were willing to follow them because of the military and nothing else.
If these people wanted to kill them, it was not difficult.
This was sothing that Lin Jue also understood. Under the force that was being applied to his neck, he felt like he was about to be crushed to death. He knew that no one would be able to save him. He could only grit his teeth and admit his defeat.
After all, everyone cared for their life, and Lin Jue was just a small thug who had not faced such a dangerous situation before. For the first ti, he felt like he was really going to get killed. Finally, he opened his mouth and stamred, "I will speak… I will tell you everything; please let go."
Bai iyue turned to look at Mo He, who finally let go of the man without saying anything.
Once the man slid down, Bai iyue took a step forward. With her arms crossed in front, she ca to a stop in front of the man and looked down at him.
Her gaze was chilly, which made the man shiver in fright. Lin Jue had never seen a woman as terrifying as the one in front of him. It was as if one wrong move could lead to his head being cut off his shoulders.
"Speak. What are you doing here?" Bai iyue glanced at the man and the gaze alone was enough to make Lin Jue's heart clench. He didn't dare to lie and started stamring, "I... I am just a little thug. I ca here to seize your supplies and—"
He wanted to say that he wanted to kill them, but he was scared that if he said those words, these people would skin him alive; thus, he swallowed his words and changed them into sothing more pleasant. "And… and leave. Really, I had no other motives."
"That's right; we didn't even think about killing you," one of the n stupidly chid in, which made Lin Jue glare at him angrily.
Bai iyue curled her lips and stated, "Not kill us? Do you think that stealing our supplies is not killing us?"
As soon as Bai iyue finished speaking, Lin Jue's hair stood at the back of his neck. He kept having this feeling that this woman could see through everything. He turned silent, but that didn't stop Bai iyue.
She raised her foot and pressed the back of her shoe against his neck and applied force to it. She said to him, "You better speak the truth or else don't bla for being rude."
Bai iyue's voice never rose an octave, but it was enough to make Lin Jue's heart tremble. He knew that the woman was serious; if he didn't tell the truth to her, then she would really kill him.
But how was he going to tell the truth? Lin Jue felt that he was really miserable. If he had known that these people were so skilled, then he would have co here with a bunch of skilled ability users. He must have offended so great immortals for him to be caught in trouble like this. If not, how would he end up getting caught by a bunch of killing machines?
What was more, he could not tell them about his boss; if he disclosed that he was sent to steal the supplies by the military, he was worried that he would be skinned alive.
