Back then, she had no idea what was going on but now she had more or less so idea of why the two siblings joined her team. They must have had so vendetta with Boss Yun. When she thought about all the help Liu i had given her, her expression turned solemn. She said to Ai Sanya, "I will bring them back, no matter what the cost."
Ai Sanya was stunned when she heard Bai iyue’s words. She never thought that this young woman would suddenly turn so serious upon hearing her children’s nas. "It’s here," Ai Sanya pointed to the tall wall that was only half built but it was clear that the workers were pushed to do three days’ work in one day. "He is really careful when it cos to his life."
"It’s only right for him to be careful. After all, he had done so many evil things," Bai iyue sneered. Everyone had only one life. Who knew how many lives this man had taken? How could he not be worried that soone would co knocking at his door in the middle of the night?
They didn’t go to the back door instead; they went to the small well that was at the end of the wall. Who would have thought that this small well was actually a secret entrance?
Ai Sanya spoke in a low voice, "This well is connected to the inside of the base. Boss Yun sent soone to investigate this dry well and found out that it could be connected to the floor underneath his room, which is why he chose to dig out a secret passage through this well. The floor underneath his room is the one where the prisoners are kept."
"If you cannot kill that man, just run away. It’s fine as long as you co back safely with my children. There is nothing else that I need."
Bai iyue humd. She wanted the woman to stay at the penthouse but Ai Sanya was too worried about her children and couldn’t stay put. After much consideration, Bai iyue decided to bring the woman with them, as she knew the base much better than they did.
"Then are there any patrols down there?" Bai iyue asked as she pointed to the well.
"Look at my brain!" Ai Sanya felt helpless and annoyed when she realized that she had forgotten the important information. She then said to Bai iyue, "There are four n who patrol the tunnel. One pair guards the entrance while the other one guards the opening that leads to the base."
Bai iyue nodded as she turned to look at Ciyi. The little pup nodded before climbing down the well. Though the team mbers were stunned by Bai iyue’s actions, they decided to trust her. After all, Bai iyue was not soone who would do anything useless.
Inside the tunnel, Ciyi ca to a stop in front of the two guards who had their weapons raised; however, when they saw that it was a little pup, they lowered their guards and chuckled.
