Dacheng curled his lips when he saw Bai iyue's reaction. He thought that she was finally under his thumb; thus, he couldn't curl up his lips in a smug smile. He leaned forward and lowered his voice such that only Bai iyue could hear him. "You are surprised, right? I bet you are. Bai iyue, I know that you don't want anyone to know about your pregnancy. So why don't you help out? Send Lei Qian and the rest of the team to the military base and make them join the base."
"I bet with the little charm that you have over Master Lei, he will listen to you."
He pulled away and stated, "As long as you help out, I will keep my mouth shut, and no one will know anything about what you did."
Bai iyue was not surprised that Dacheng found out about her pregnancy. Anyway, she had never really tried to hide it. As long as anyone was paying attention, they would be able to find out that she was actually pregnant. Only fools like Lei Qian, who were rather slow when it ca to such things, would miss such a simple thing.
Even her mother, who was bent on rejecting it, had to admit that Bai iyue was pregnant. Even her mother could sense that there was sothing wrong with her, so how could Dacheng, who had been poking his rather enlarged nose in her business, not notice that sothing was amiss?
It is just that after listening to his words, she realised that there was sothing wrong. It seed like this idiot had misunderstood sothing, and what was more, he was actually threatening her with Cai Cai's existence. What did he say? If she didn't convince Lei Qian to join the army, then Dacheng would tell Lei Qian about her pregnancy?
So, he thought that her child belonged to soone else and not Lei Qian?
As soon as she realised this, Bai iyue couldn't help but laugh. She looked at Dacheng as if she were looking at an idiot and said, "You can do your worst; it is your mouth and I cannot stop you from running it, can I?" Anyway, Bai iyue didn't care if Dacheng told the truth to Lei Qian or not.
Her belly was getting bigger and bigger; soon Lei Qian would find out about her pregnancy, and even if he didn't, then with her mother's thinning temper, it wouldn't take long for her to announce in front of Lei Qian and his family that she was pregnant with his child. So what was the point in hiding it any further?
She spoke the truth, but Dacheng thought that she was speaking like this because she was being defensive. He curled his lips in a mocking smile and said to Bai iyue, "You can think things through; there is no need for you to answer in a hurry."
"I am not answering in a hurry," Bai iyue smiled and stated, "I don't need to think when I talk with idiots."
That wiped the smile off Dacheng's face, who turned to look away and glance at Yang Chunhua. Seeing her walk over, he smiled at her and questioned, "Chunhua, how are you? Is everything okay? Look, I brought you your favourite chocolates?"
He raised his hand and showed the bag that he brought with him to Yang Chunhua. Dacheng thought that Yang Chunhua would co running to him just like before, but the woman only glanced at him and then turned to Bai iyue. She said, "I will see you in the morning, Sister Yueyue."
She then walked past Dacheng without even taking a look at the bag of chocolates that he was holding in his hand.
Dacheng, who had never expected such a reaction, was stunned when he saw Yang Chunhua ignoring him like this. He turned to look at her, only to see the distance between the two of them getting bigger and bigger. He then turned to look at Bai iyue and questioned harshly, "What did you say to her?"
"What did I say to her?" Bai iyue arched a brow and looked at Dacheng's expression with a smile on her lips. "You should be asking this question to yourself. What did you say to her when you left?"
At that mont, Dacheng's smile could no longer be kept. It broke apart bit by bit as he speechlessly glared at the woman in front of him. He stared at Bai iyue angrily, with a hint of questioning in his eyes.
"Did you say sothing to her? I know Chunhua. She will never get angry at . It must have been you who said sothing to her; she has always been understanding of ."
"Aren't you funny?" Bai iyue pushed away from the doorfra and stepped forward. Seeing the displeasure on Dacheng's face, Bai iyue couldn't help but lose her temper slightly, and the mock politeness that she was showing on her face disappeared in an instant. "You walked away without caring about her. Did you ever once, even once, stop and think about what she will go through? Did you care about her feelings when you packed your bags and left?"
"Yang Chunhua saved you. If she hadn't bothered to save your sorry life, then you would have died at the hands of the zombies and might have turned into one. But you didn't even think twice before walking out on her. She took the risk and stayed with you on every step. If she hadn't brought you here with her, then do you know that we would have never accepted you into our team?"
"Yang Chunhua is not a stupid woman; she could see through things more clearly than you think. You left her and didn't even look back at her. Do you think that she will still stay with you? A relationship doesn't work this way. If she is giving her all, then she deserves at least so respect."
"It is not that I said sothing to her, but it is you who is too late."
