He paused and added in a soft voice, "If you can create so value of your own, then why would you have to go and do so odd jobs handed to you by soone else?" Bai Feng was not living in a daydream like the rest of society. The survivors, including Bai Xue and his parents, thought that they could go back to how they had lived in the past. But after so ti, the survivors who were willing to risk their lives and go out to fetch supplies found it unfair. They thought that it was indeed too unfair for them to hand over all of their supplies while so had none.
Thus, once they mustered enough courage, they all ran back and never ca back.
And the remaining ones? They were like Bai Xue and his parents. No matter what was happening around them, they didn't care about it. They only cared about staying in the safety of the ho and never stepping out. They stayed at ho all day and never thought about stepping out.
The only tis they moved from their beds or couches was when they saw Bai Feng return with the supplies. Only then would they move as if they were given an adrenaline shot. If not, they could lie on the bed or couches all day long without moving an inch!
This kind of treatnt was simply too unbalanced. Those who were working were exhausted to death, and those who were not working were so idle that they were about to beco one with the couch and the bed. As for those who had no relation with them and had the courage, they took advantage of the unreasonable kindness that Bai Xue showed them and then ran away without returning the favour.
