Bai iyue smiled when she saw the expression on Lei Qian's face. Why did she never know that Lei Qian was this childish? She said to him, "Well, it's expected. They are no longer normal chickens. It's only natural that you will have a hard ti with them."
Hearing her response, Lei Qian snorted. He crossed his arms and then looked down at the black hen that was glaring at him. he glared at the thing right back and sneered at her with a hint of ferocity on his face.
The black hen suddenly went limp when she saw Lei Qian glaring at her. However, from the look on her face, Bai iyue had a very good idea that she was only falling back to attack more fiercely later on.
Seeing this, Bai iyue was really amused and decided to keep this black hen alive.
Her thoughts, however, were interrupted when she saw the greenhouse that was not far from where she was standing. She walked over to the greenhouse and peered inside. As these vegetables were not showered by the doomsday rain, they were growing quite well. The tsunami didn't reach this far; thus, these green vegetables were without any harm.
The more Bai iyue looked around, the more green onions, shallots, onions and spinach fell into her eyes. Because these vegetables were growing in the greenhouse, they were perfectly fine and didn't seem to be showing any signs of wilting. When Bai iyue saw the lush greenery, she clicked her tongue.
She had to admit that Yu Miaomiao was a really narrow-minded and short-sighted woman. How could she not think of looking for supplies?
If she had, then she wouldn't be running around looking for wood-type supernatural ability users. Finding supplies in the cities and mansions would be much easier, and what would be even easier would be looking for vegetables and fruits in villages. There must be an even, lush supply of vegetables.
When Bai iyue thought about it carefully, she curled her lips and realised that she had once again co up with a way to make Yu Miaomiao bleed. Since this woman wanted to take advantage of her, she couldn't bla her for making use of her.
She called her brothers and asked them to collect the vegetables. She was going to use these vegetables to earn a little more crystal nuclei from Yu Miaomiao.
Bai Jixuan was rather excited when he heard Bai iyue say that she was going to sell these vegetables to the base. Making use of these vegetables that they didn't need to earn crystal nuclei sounded like a really good idea, as they could make that snake-like woman, Yu Miaomiao, suffer.
Once they were done collecting the supplies, Lei Qian didn't wait for Bai iyue to put forth any more suggestions and asked her to go back with him. The sun was already setting, and soon the zombies would start getting more and more active; it was better if they returned to the base before that happened.
Bai iyue also agreed, as she knew that if she stayed out for long, Yu Miaomiao would start getting suspicious of her. It would be better if she returned to the base and went back ho; this way, at least she would be able to throw Yu Miaomiao off her trail for a bit longer.
Anyway, the manpower they had brought out this ti was nowhere near enough to clear the entire mansion and make it fit for human survival.
Bai iyue was now pregnant with Little Cai Cai; she could not stay in such a place for the ti being.
Thus, Lei Qian wanted to go back to the base before things beca troubleso.
It took them three hours to return to the base, and when they arrived at the base, they had to hand over more than half of their supplies. However, the supplies that they had collected were so many that they didn't need to worry about anything. Bai Jixuan happily handed the soldiers more than one-third of the green vegetables that he had collected.
Seeing the lush green in the Bai family's hands, the soldiers' faces turned green. They knew that Bai iyue and her brothers were really crazy, but they never knew that they were this bold. Where did they get so many supplies when they couldn't? At the sa ti, they couldn't help but be envious; if they had supernatural abilities like Bai iyue, then they would be able to collect supplies like her and her team.

Those zombies had not even appeared yet!
Bai iyue, however, didn't bother questioning the soldiers and simply allowed them to take her samples as well to test whether she was having a fever or not. Of course, she knew that these samples would definitely be handed to Yu Miaomiao later on, but what of it? Even if that woman was a genius, she would never be able to recreate another Bai iyue or Lei Qian.
While Bai iyue was rather cooperative with the entire process, Lei Qian eyed the dical soldiers warily.
