"They have gone crazy!" Bai Jixuan exclaid once he finished listening to the new rules that were being broadcast in the entire base. He turned to look at his elder brother and said to him, "What kind of crazy rules are these? They want us to work for them without getting anything in return?"
Bai Zhan frowned and turned to look at Bai iyue before saying to her, "What should we do?" If they stayed in the base, then they would have to either pay Yu Miaomiao with supplies that were way too exorbitant or work for Yu Miaomiao. Both options were really dangerous.
According to the new rules that Yu Miaomiao had set, everything in the safe zone now belonged to her and the high-ranking officials. Even the dical resources that Bai iyue had collected and set up. And if that was all, they could have at least thought of a counter-strategy. But no! Yu Miaomiao had stooped down to another level by making even the supernatural beings her properties.
What did she an by that in exchange for the protection of the base, they needed to take on tasks and hand her more than half the supplies?

These rules were not rules. They were a set of restraints that were being used to suppress the ability users. How could there be such harsh rules? What was the point of hunting zombies and looking for supplies if they had to hand over more than half of the supplies? To make sure that the ability users would not hide inside the base and refuse to hand in the supplies, she added another law that strictly stipulated that they needed to take on a mission every week.

She believed that the ability users would still follow the rules even though she had cornered them.

Thus, they would think twice before escaping the base, as they could survive in the outside world, but the sa couldn’t be said for their family mbers.
The zombies out there were getting stronger with the passage of ti, and soon, it wouldn’t take long for a zombie king to appear.
With the changes in the energy around the world, Bai iyue could sense that the number of level one or two zombies had increased. So many dangerous risks were enough to make these ability users hesitate and stay in the base for the sake of their families.
They couldn’t carry the burden of taking care of their family alone.

"Those jerks!" Mother Bai snapped as she smacked the dining table angrily. How were they going to survive like this?
She turned to look at Bai iyue and then said to her, "What are we going to do, Yueyue?"
Bai iyue knew that her mother was worried about Xiao Cai, and honestly, she was too. From the looks of it, Yu Miaomiao was actually trying to stretch her hands to the small hospital that she had opened.
And there could only be one reason for it.
